I’ve now taken my dog and cat here and this is probably the best vet I’ve ever been to. They take time to answer any and all questions. Each time I’ve been here the waiting room is empty which is great for my leash reactive dog and for my cat who gets stressed out traveling. I would recommend anyone to come here. We drive from Grand Rapids and it’s very much worth the trip. So happy Bridges was recommended to me!

Very rude staff. Not helpful with medical concerns. Not caring whatsoever when I’d bring my dog in for care. Strongly encourage to find somewhere else to care for your animals.I called for urgent appointment as my dog was pretty sick and miserable. Their soonest appointment was in 6 days!!!

I was dissatisfied with my previous vet which led me to Bridges by my neighbors recommendation. I was so impressed with the way they handled my fur baby who has anxiety, as well as not forcing me to give her any unnecessary vaccinations. They truly care about what they do, your comfort level and not forcing you to do treatments just for the money. Highly recommend!

I feel fortunate to have found Bridges Animal Hospital and wish I had been here all along. Dr Marshall is our vet who provides friendly, knowledgeable, and exceptional care to our pets. On my first visit I brought my 5 year old Doberman with two 12 week old kittens and we were all laughing at the adorable mayhem in the exam room. Dr Marshall is so warm and welcoming, the gang was happy to hangout with her, the vet techs, and the seemingly-endless amount of treats. Our pets have absolutely no anxiety visiting the office because everything is kept upbeat and positive.The vet techs and reception staff are so welcoming on the phone, eager to help with whatever they can. If you're looking for a new veterinary office I couldn't recommend Bridges more. This is really a wonderful place to care for your pets.

Drs Whitoff and Marshall are wonderful, caring professionals. They are very practical, helpful, and kind. My family has experienced numerous pet illnesses in the past few years and every time the staff at Bridges helped us understand what was happening and what our options were, while keeping our budget in mind. As a first time dog mom, I was really anxious about choosing the best fit for our baby labrador retriever. A friend recommended Bridges to me and I could not be happier! From the minute I walked in, I knew it was a great match for us! Dr. Marshall is such a sweetheart, and incredibly knowledgable and willing to help. She always answers my long lists of questions happily and makes me feel welcome and assured that Archie is getting the best care! The rest of the staff has been nothing short of wonderful as well. They always encourage me to call with any questions I may have, which is such an amazing resource to have readily at my fingertips. The office itself is very clean and organized and pricing is very reasonable. Archie and I can't recommend Bridges enough!

Dr. Marshall is the best veterinarian we’ve ever seen. She is an astute clinician who’s attention to detail, thoroughness, and constant communication are evident. She brings a fresh perspective to tricky animal health problems that other offices just can’t get handled. She helped our 11 y/o black lab correct long term diarrhea, vomiting, urine/fecal incontinence with associated weight loss with one visit. We were also able to get him off of all of his medications. We’ve seen 2 other veterinary offices in the Grand Rapids area and they were unable to help us for the past year. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking positive results in their pet’s healthcare.

The best vets in the Grand Rapids area. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and they go out of their way to make you and your pets happy. We have a small dog who tends to be anxious and sensitive and they always treat him very lovingly. I recommend them to anyone with a pet.

The staff here is great! At our first appointment, the vet spent as much time as we needed to answer questions we had and to just give some general information. It was really nice not to feel rushed and heard. I have never had a problem getting an appointment within a reasonable timeframe. I would highly recommend this vet.

Hands down the best bet we have ever been to! My wife has worked as a vet tech for 8 years, and trusts these folks completely. They don't try to gouge you and are very up front with all your options. We've recommended many friends here, and they all love it too.

Dr(s) Marshall and Witthof are outstanding! Their staff (Judy, Mary, and Sherry) are awesome as well. Both Doctors treat their patients as if they were their own and are great about explaining what they are doing and why. You can also hear them on 1300 WOOD radio at 8 AM every Saturday. The office is a friendly place located in picturesque downtown Ada (our dog really appreciates being able to watch the squirrels through the extra large windows).

I was excited to discover there was a Animal Hospital in downtown Ada (where I live). I have a Rottweiler and he was in pain (something in his mouth or lower jaw/ best guess). He has been crying out (yelping) throughout the past 2 days and he is obviously in much pain. We feel so bad for him and called the Bridges Animal Hospital for help only to be told they wouldn’t be able to help (over the phone)because he hadn’t been a patient of theirs before. Which I understood but then I asked if they would see him only to be told they were booked for at least the next week or more. I don’t think I can watch my dog suffer for that long and was surprised they were ok with scheduling a week out knowing he was hurting. I quickly learned if you care about your pets WellCare look elsewhere!!! Thanks for nothing Bridges we will look elsewhere for help!!!

I agree with all the other reviewers that the people are very nice, therefore I give them 1 star. I had been going there for years. However, I am extremely upset because they brushed of my little Pom's heart condition (she was diagnosed with a heart murmur about 5 years ago at Blue Pearl emergency care) as nothing serious. They never even had detected the murmur themselves. Bridges Animal Hospital failed to take my little Pom's Syncope and collapse episode last October serious. They just brushed it of as a benign thing when in fact they should have advised that I bring my little Pom to a cardiologist immediatley. I recall that I even had asked a couple of times since the heart murmur was detected if I should see a specialist and they said it was not necessary,... that the Enalapril would be sufficient. I switched vet's earlier in 2017 because I felt that my (2) Pom's were not getting the proper treatments they needed at Bridges Animal's Hospital and was advised to see a cardiologist. Her result were 4/6 murmur and SEVERE trachea collapse. I asked the cardiologist if more could have been done if I would have brought my baby sooner. His response was "YES". My little baby past away 3 weeks ago during another Syncope episode. Therefore, please, if your dog has a heart murmur and coughing do not take it lightly,...even if they will make it appear as nothing serious. My little baby's life could have possibly been extended if she would have received the proper care needed at an earlier stage of her disease.Another incident was the issue with one of her teeth. My little baby kept getting an infection just under her eye every 3 month for about a year. So they kept putting her on antibiotic even though I kept telling them that it is the tooth causing it. I finally had to get really firm and pushed on having the tooth remover. Guess what????....no more infection,...frustrating.My 2nd Pom had a little accident and was in tremendous pain. I brought her in and was told it was arthritis. I disagreed with them because arthritis does not come on this strong overnight. 2 days later I had her in at the emergency because she could barely walk. Come to find out her disk on her upper back had ruptured. Therefore, not sure why everyone gives them 5 stars. These vets are inept to diagnose properly.
