Had an awful, mind-numbingly dumb experience. Service had been good, but one day, I was buying hardware for cable and they (2 different people) wouldn't let me cut a short piece of 1/8" cable because I hadn't bought it there. I then saw the clipper was hanging by their cable spool so I cut my piece anyway, bought my hardware, and left. I was kind of in shock over the stupidity of it. That was three months ago, and I will never go back. I can wait a couple days for Amazon, which is usually much cheaper anyway. Wanted to give 1 star, but they were helpful in the past, sometimes offer you popcorn, and the selection is good for a small store, so I wanted to be fair in my appraisal. But this episode revealed to me, not a spirit of neighborly helpfulness, but rather, vindictiveness for not buying a simple $2 item in their store. Don't let the popcorn fool you, they're not your friend.

Small town hardware with easy to find staff when you need help. Went to Ace Hardware to get stuff ti fix lighting issues in my Mom's barn. Sraff very helpful. Prices are high. Selection was minimal as expected, but still many common items in stock.

We stopped in to find something to mix our kayak strap. Micheal O. went above and beyond the to help us find a solution as well as shared with others us the best local spots to kayak. He was so friendly and inclusive! Thank you, Michael!

This is my go to spot because they are so close to where I live, so I started going there out of convenience but now I go because the staff are so nice and super helpful! They might be a little more expensive than the bigger stores, but they send coupons every month and that makes up for it.

The item I wanted to purchase was listed as in stock for this location on the Ace website but when I arrived at the store the item was not hanging where it should be. The person helping me checked their system and looked around the area but was not willing to modify their inventory so this item would be marked as out of stock on the Ace website. Don't rely on the ace website to tell you if items are in stock.

Here almost once a week for something or nother. It's out local east side hardware. They are dog friendly as well it may be convenient that there is a Brewery across the parking lot as well.

Very friendly staff, always helpful. One day I went in with my son, he was looking forward to getting a bag of popcorn. The popcorn popper was empty, but the lady working the cash register bought my son a bag of popcorn! Very sweet! They also always have what I need. I have also never had a problem returning something if I needed too.

Love Ace! It's my go to hardware store. It's close by, has very good selection, staff is extremely helpful & friendly & their prices are decent. And they have some products I can't find at the big box stores. Love being able to purchase individual screws for a project.

Your friendly neighborhood Ace!!! I've been a shopper at this store for around 10 years. Always greeted with a smile. Someone was always on hand to help if I needed. Good selection of hardware needs and lots of other things to attract the attention.

A great neighborhood store. An amazingly large selection of hardware, fasteners, etc. Plus tools, grills, mowers, parts.......Much faster than going to the Big Box stores. Always a friendly staff! They REALLY treat you like neighbors.

I like trying to support small local hardware stores like this but their pricing on some key items is a little crazy. 60W LED lightbulbs for $8 or even $15 apiece? No thanks. Tools seem a bit overpriced as well. It gets 4 stars because it's super convenient if you live on the east side of town and the people are always pleasant and very helpful.

Excellent service and pretty good selection of merchandise. Kinda lean in the Boaters section, but overall a great resource for Hardware, even have a limited amount of Lumber so you don't have to go across Town.

Very rude staff. Barely made it in the door and was accosted for not getting my face mask on fast enough, it was in my hand. When I questioned the employee about their rudeness they called security and I was instantly surrounded by 6 or 7 hostile employees. Will NEVER support this small business again! Meijer got my business today.

Acme store...stopped with my special needs brother to get sandbags for his truck. Gentleman loaded 6 bags at 60 pounds each and then fist numped my brother and said have a good day kind sir. Melted my heart for his kindness.
