11/2022: While many of the problems I listed here have been fixed, the store is still depressing and prices are still outrageous. As of yesterday, for a dozen large white eggs (storebrand):Shaw’s $3.99Big Y $4.49Price Chopper $7.295/2022: I'm updating this review again. The store condition was terrible today and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. The main entrance/exit doors are out of order and have been for some time now. The men's room was disgusting today, and the shelves are not just empty but really dirty. See pictures attached. This is really sad, and I don't shop here anymore.1/2022: I have to update this review after coming to this store regularly for almost three years. I've found too many expired products on the shelves, brought items home to find them moldy the next day, and so on for this to be my main store. The store itself is clearly in decline, as it seems to be a coin flip whether the service departments will be open on any given day, and there's not as much selection as there should be in such a large store. It's fine most of the time, but I've started taking the bus out to Shaw's at Webster Square and I am much, much happier with the prices, selection, quality, and service I get there.

Just wanted to give kudos to the person who works seafood at the Cambridge Street store. Made an excellent fish and chips and I will never go back to Big Y because of it. I didn’t catch his name but full of energy and extremely nice!! Will be back!!

I live around the corner so Price Chopper is convenient to shop at. Lately the food has been expired on more than one occasion. I purchased frozen food today and it was full of ice and looked like it was dethawed and refrozen. I immediately returned and the customer service staff seemed unfazed.

Cambridge st price chopper is one of the best choppers . This post is mainly for the bakery. Last week my daughter had her sweet 16 birthday party . Silly me forgot to order an important necessity to a birthday party " The Cake " so I called everywhere because of course I wanted a special cake , I didn't want to just walk in and buy one off the shelf , every single place I called could not help me due to it being a late notice, one day to make the cake , which I know it was my own fault. But I decided to try one more spot , Price Chopper on Cambridge St . The young lady approached me and greeted me . I showed her a picture of what I needed and I asked if she could do it for the next day , by my surprise she said absolutely! I believe her name was alicia forgive me if I'm wrong , maybe Ashley?? Anyway who ever she was I just want to thank her she saved the day . I will now get my cakes made here for every occasion .

Everything is in the right store to attain all you need. From fruit to toiletries and frozen foods. There is a pharmacy and a bakery. Even the seafood market place is a great variety of options and that you can get any and all types of foods. Spanish, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, and more. So here it's a very open and welcoming staff and atmosphere.

Most of sale items were not available. I used to love this store but it's declining terrible. So sad but I will not shop here anymore. This isn't the first time I've gone for sale items like meat, fresh produce and they were out. Only like 3 days into their flyer.

Always shop there but pricing has become similar to the stock market every other day the prices change on products I purchase all the time. Not sure why that is. Price Choppers should represent exactly that chopping prices Market Basket still has some of the best prices in the business and As of late have better quality in produce. I hope that changes sooner than later.

I like that this store is big and generally easy to shop, but the wait times at the registers are sometimes ridiculous, especially in the evenings when they close down all but one of the checkouts.

Price Chopper makes finding items easy for couriers. Aisles are wide with plenty of room to turn carts around. Many of my customers choose Price Chopper due to their competitive pricing compared to the big grocery outlets nearby.

Edited on 1/6/22: I still stand by my original review and also add that I see nobody ever sanitizing around the store. It's sad, a once good market has become a ghost town.Their prices definitely aren't chopped, they steadily raise their prices and they have lost a large amount of clientele the past few years. If you do decide to shop here, keep a sharp eye on your wallet!

Other than that I've always found what I needed and the prices were fair or even better than the local competitors. Great setup. Every item on your list is easy to find and easily accessible. No item is stacked up over 6 feet! The associates are polite and friendly. The Price Chopper card saves you an average of 20%. Love the store.

Substantially better than the Park Ave location; bigger and better selection, has a liquor store, shorter lines, politer staff, and less unpleasant fellow shoppers. Frequent good deals on meat and good sales.Edit: was overcharged for fresh cilantro in self checkout, and the attendant only reduced the price to the one posted rather than following the law and marking the item down as free. When I said, "isn't it the law that it's free?" , the attendant said no. I had to go to the front desk to get my money back. Watch out for this kind of behavior at this location: they're not training their front end staff on the law and hence violating it.

All the sale items and nonsale items that I had on my shopping list were on the shelves at the Price Chopper located on Cambridge Street in Webster Square area of Wircester. MA. This made my shopping very quick and easy.

Produce is always the freshest around. The deli is run like a well oiled machine! I usually hate standing in deli lines but the manager here has things moving like a dream! Even on weekends! Lobster tanks are always full and clean and the seafood selection is top notch! Meats are always at their best. Love the deep discount bin at the end of their cooler! Always great deals to be found there! Grocery shelves are always full and aisles aren't cluttered with stand alone racks and bins like most other stores. Only complaint is the frozen section. Especially the veggies. They are ALWAYS in rough shape. Bags just thrown here and there and jostled so you have to dig through to find product that hasn't thawed and refroze. Wish they would switch to stand up freezers with doors like most of their other locations.

I always find what I need at this price chopper and I appreciate its convenient 24 hour service. I would like to give a special shout out to John in the bakery department. Every time I've gone in and needed help he has had a smile on, is gracious, and offers great customer service. It's definitely 100% a price chopper. If your reading this your mostly living somewhere in New England and you know it's a chopper. I'm pretty sure they stay open till 12. They do have very friendly staff and the customer service desk moves quickly. This is my Chopper so I like it.What do mermaids wash their clothes in?...... Tide!!! Hahaha. Hope you got a corny laugh. We need more of that in this world. I hope you are happy and healthy and warm and safe during these crazy days we live in. Peace to you ✌

The produce isn't quality. I purchased 3 items yesterday and today I'm returning it because they're rotten. Maybe this happens once? But not at Price Chopper! My advice is if you're in need of produce go to Stop n Shop. Better selection, higher quality and less expensive oh I forgot it's Not gone bad either.

This is MY supermarket. Between the fliers, the mailer coupons and the kiosk with printables at the entrance, I save at least 30% every week without even trying. This is a big store, and they carry just about everything you can think of. The bakery and pizza shop are large and good quality. Most of the employees are very friendly. Sometimes the cashiers just knock my socks off they are so fast and helpful.

Usually well stocked, unless there's a big sale, but they'll substitute a different size or give you a rain check when they're out. Produce is occasionally moldy (berries especially), but the meats are great. Self checkout is convenient for small orders and way faster than going through a line. Some cashiers go above and beyond. Some as so-so.

The self check out has 4 stations and only 2 were open? One lady had to wait for some one to help. I waited in line as three others cashed out then she finally was assisted. If you don't want too put people at a register then open the self checkouts and have someone "ready to assist" I pay you are not paying me to buy my food, get it right for your customers.

The store is always in great shape, clean, and organized.its managed and ran well. Customer service is great although sometimes u can't find anyone to help you. There aren't really deals at this one like i have seen at others but still fairly priced. I would recommend this place

Strawberries are normally always either moldy or on the verge of becoming moldy.However, the one and only reason I continue to frequent this store and no other is because of there best cashier MaryAnne. I even know that her schedule and do not shop on Mondays because I know she’s not there. She is such a nice kind hearted woman and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen. If something if on sale or BOGO and I don’t know she always makes sure to let me know to go get another one or informs me of the stores deal. This woman deserves a promotion or at the very least given a raise. I’m in that store at least 2-3 times a week and from what I see, she works harder then any other cashier or even any other employee for that matter, AND she’s one of the oldest ones there and still works as hard as she does.There’s a man that also works there, that may be a asst manager or something, (I don’t know his name but he always wears a button up shirt, has brown hair with a receding hair line) he’s always stocking products but he is extremely rude each and every time I’ve encountered him. One time my child had dropped something and I was having him pick it up and this employee whispered under his breath to another employee that he “can’t stand that family” . Every other person I’ve talked to about him agrees and tells me he’s rude like that towards everyone. He’s extremely unprofessional, which is probably why they have him on the floor stocking and not communicating with customers. Anyways besides that man I do like this store. Again, Maryanne is the absolute best. The older gentleman that works in either the seafood or meat department is awesome. He always has a smile and says hello every time he sees me.
