Staff are super friendly and welcoming, as well as accommodating and informative! I came in as a first time client to get my dogs nails cut before our first child was born. I was thankfully able to get a last minute appointment with such ease! Once there, Michelle took the time to give me advice on how to introduce my pup to the new baby, and then gave my dog the most comfortable environment to get those nails cut (she is very resilient to getting her nails cut). She was able to do it fast and efficiently :)very happy with todays visit! And so is Maisy with her finally cut nails

I called them for the first time to get an appointment only for a nail trim. They asked what kind of dog I have which happens to be a small Lhasa Apso pit mix who is the sweetest, most well behaved dog I’ve ever had, and they never returned to give me an appointment. They are breed prejudice, ignorant people!

We just moved to the area and were looking for a new groomer. Our dog can get really anxious so it can be hard to find someone who is patient enough with him, but Michelle was incredible!! She was so nice and understanding and our dog looks great! Will definitely be coming back in the future!

I am so thankful for finding Michelle and Chelsea. Bandit is my 15 year old Shih Tzu and needs a little more time and patience with his grooming. They did a very nice job and he looks so good and he smelled wonderful. He already has his Christmas appointment booked!! Thank you so much again to both of you , you are both his Angels 😇.

So happy to have found a great groomer in my new town! I was nervous to find a groomer after a move from another state, but Furry Essentials was so good for us. My 15 lb terrier mix can be nervous with new things and other dogs, but Furry Essentials took great care of her and said she did great with other dogs. Not to mention they did an amazing job on her hair cut, exactly what I asked for! We will be loyal customers for sure!

My long haired female Husky mix was way overdue for grooming, with somewhat matted fur, very dirty from rolling in the dirt that used to be my back lawn! The easiest for me would have been to have her shaved and bathed but Michelle and the staff (sorry, don't know your names) took the time to explain that her breed needs both layers of fur, even in summertime. So they worked their magic, with brushes and a good cleaning. An awesome job, and I will definitely be back on a more timely basis. Thank You!

Michelle, Ross, and the rest of her team are phenomenal. We had a rough morning to the groomer today with Cooper. As I’m sure most of you know, Cooper has epilepsy and severe anxiety. Taking him anywhere outside our house is an event, especially the groomer or the vet (his least two favorite places).Furry Essentials Grooming Salon always does a great job. Michelle texts me anytime something happens with Cooper whether it is a seizure and asking me how I want to proceed, or a positive thing like hanging out with his buddy Ross (a member of the FE Grooming team). She is always going above and beyond to ensure Cooper, Liz, and I feel comfortable.Today, Michelle went above and beyond even more than she usually does. I was taking Cooper to get groomed and he was having a particularly difficult time with it. He pooped in my car because he was so scared and spent the majority of the ride in my lap, panting and his little heart racing. When I got there, I was waiting outside my car in the driveway to drop Cooper off (COVID makes it so you cannot go in). Little did I know, he was pooping while I was holding him! This has never happened before, so I stepped in it, not knowing.Michelle came out and saw what had happened and kindly took my shoe to clean it off. By the time she came back, Cooper had pooped AGAIN while I was holding him (and almost on my foot). I was mortified and I felt so bad!!!! Michelle reassured me it was okay and cleaned it up even though I offered to do it myself. She spoke with me about having Ross groom Cooper to help his anxiety (instead of someone else) and the team shifted their plan to accommodate that. She also cleaned up the driveway for me and told me she would get Cooper in the tub and get him done quickly to try and minimize stress and avoid him having a seizure.I am so grateful for Michelle and her team. It was definitely one of those fur mom mornings where I felt terrible and just wanted to cry. I always hate bringing Cooper to the vet or groomer because I know how petrified he is to be there and the poop disaster just added to the stress today. Michelle and her team were kind, compassionate, and accommodating of my chronically anxious and difficult fur baby.Thank you, Michelle, Ross, and the Furry Essentials Grooming Salon team for making this morning much better than it could have been! You are incredible and this is why we drive 25 minutes from Oxford to come to you whenever our dogs need to be groomed. We appreciate you going above and beyond!!! I highly recommend Furry Essentials Grooming Salon for any of your grooming needs!

Absolutely terrible. I will certainly never ever return to such a horrible grooming establishment. Dropped my dog, my mini dachshund puppy off at 10 am. 2 pm still no phone call. I’ve called several times no one answers. Now 4 and a half hours later I’m going to the place myself and they tell me another 30 mins. How long have they kept my puppy locked in a cage. Other groomers take 30-45 mins with my pup. This place 4 and a half hours? Makes no sense at all. Never again. They don’t let you in the building which is very strange. What are they hiding?

My first visit and not only were they very welcoming, but they asked pertinent questions due to my 8 yr dog being a rescue and never having been groomed before. They got the job done, and she looked beautiful, and lived to tell the tale (she bark yelled at me most of the way home). Thank you for great service at a great value!

My cat was in a terrible apartment fire before I adopted her and she is very fearful of other people but when the famous cat whisperer from Furry Essentials arrived in my home she was more than happy to let him hold her while the other furry essentials person trimmed all her claw nails. I recommend this place. They even make house calls in some cases.

Furry Essentials is good. Our lab terrier mix puppy refused to allow us to cut her nails so we took her to Furry Essentials and they did a good job at a low price. Make sure you call ahead as they don't take walk-ins.

My experience is a quick in and out getting my cats nails trimmed, so I don't know much more. I will say the gentleman (I believe he's the owner) who handles my ferocious beast has a way with cats! He's taken out of the carrier, not a hiss, a growl or an attempt to bolt. For my cat, that's amazing.

My Sheltie requires a lot of work to get his undercoat off. He always comes home looking 10lbs lighter. He also, never seems in a rush to leave the salon; which shows me how he feels about Furry Essentials Salon.

I brought my dog in for a hair cut and bath and I marked an appointment I was a new customer too. He was there for maybe an hour or 2 and they said he was done. I go and pick him up he looks the same he looked even fluffyer then what I left him. That owener started to complain saying he wouldn’t stop barking. Hmm how come I have tooken my dog to other places and they never complain about him. All I know is I spent 60 dollars for them to Give him A bath

My dog loves going to get his groom on here! My bichon, Ben Franklin, loves Geno. Right away you know he loves all animals and his compassion for animal rights is like no other.I now bring my lovie pitbull, Tuffy to get bathed and groomed. I wouldn't bring him anywhere else. Geno is great with him.

We’ve only been here once but I would totally recommend it!! The groomers loved Kolby and said he did great, and and Kolby also loved them! He came home so fresh and adorable 😊
