I love this store specifically! I’ve been to family Dollar’s all over the place. The store is not the biggest family dollar around and it’s not even the biggest in Worcester. There is another one in Worcester that has everything you can imagine and more. It’s the employees that keep me coming back to this location. Every single one I've met is amazing. Whoever does the hiring there should be very proud of themselves. I have never had a bad experience at this location no matter who is assisting me. I have even become what I would call friends with the employees. Just when I thought the customer service couldn’t get any better, I met the newest employee at this location yesterday 12/05/2020. Her name is Tricia. I needed to go back to the store today to get some icemelt. I ended up getting 120lbs. Each bag weighs 6 pounds. On my last trip out the door, I was taking three at once. I was going to put the cart back myself because I am able to one hand 60 pounds of icemelt. I was not struggling but Tricia was so amazing that she got out from behind the register and returned the cart to its little cart corral for me. I had it all under control myself and was more than able to put the cart back without dropping everything but I was so touched by her level of customer service. Every employee in there is top notch. Tricia Is an excellent addition to the team there and I just wanna make sure that her extreme active customer service hopefully makes its way to the ears of the store managers. When I was getting all these bags of ice melt, she hadn’t learned how to use the quantity button yet. I’m horrible with names but there was this female brunette employee Who has been there for a long time and is an amazing person as well. She stepped in immediately and helped teach Tricia How to use the button and I even heard her relaying information on when the appropriate time are to use the button. I’m not sure if that is a job function of hers to train new employees but good on both of them. Good on that more senior employee for taking the time to help Tricia Learn new register functions and relay proper store policy rather than just doing it herself. Good on Tricia For showing such a willingness to learn her job and good on her for her amazing customer service! There are so many others that have really been amazing there but I am absolutely horrible with names. My memory isn’t the greatest from my years in the military.

the worst of the worst. nobody is ever at the cashiers so you need to wait until they get up there from wherever they are. and its "every" time, and I have been in there many times. but now i will never go back. the people that work there are fat big bodied people, and literally they are off somewhere in the store eating snacks! like no wonder why they are never at the cashiers. also the place is filthy and if you buy laundry soap don't expect to get a full bottle, the people that work there say someone comes in and steals the soap by pouring half or more of the new bottles into their own containers. yea i maybe can see that once sure, but all the time? dozens of bottles half empty? obviously its someone that works there. don't waste you time here go to dollar tree down the street pay less, and someone at that place is always standing in front of the cashier so you never wait.###############################UPDATE - this place is still just as bad but even worse now. That same lady works there and stands near the register while people line up and she says "not my tunr to do the register youll have to wait" so to buy a 1 dollar item you have to sit waiting until someone gets up to the register to ring you and all the other people waiting to ring out.. this could be up to "20 minutes " that is wild. I can't understand why they dont have someone at the register at all times... it is wild... stay clear of this place, that's for sure

This store is great and i know most of the girls there BUT if you go there before close, almost always they close early on you. It says 10 oclock for a reason. Not 9:50! I needed to buy one thing quick at 9:50 pm and their doors were already locked. The girl who knows me, looked at me and just shook her head. I know we all want to get home esp that late at night, but as an employee you dont get to just chose when you want to close. Sorry!

Went here last night. They have EVERYTHING. Not everything is a dollar but it's still very reasonable. The store is very clean and organized. My sister bought a toilet seat,showermat, trash bucket, laundry soap and more! I'm going to shop here when I save enough. They have makeup drawers, makeup, Flip flop sandals, hygiene stuff, brand name icecream, hair accessories and alot more that I want to buy.

Usually I don't have a problem here at this store location, however, today I went in to grab a few items,and had to use the bathroom. I'm disabled, walk with a cane, so getting around sometimes can be cumbersome. My friend was with me,so I asked him if he could get key or staff to unlock bathroom. Having been here many times before, I knew that they were locked. Well..my friend came back and said She said No!,She can't unlock them,we can't use them!!! I was more than upset about it because there is no sign saying No public restrooms, or Employees Only. ..So..I went to check out, planning on saying goes something...But I didn't because I was afraid my temper would flare,and I'd wet my pants right there, which in hindsight, would have been funny, and a lesson learned for cashier. I'll not shop there again because of thay, and I'll will report it too!

Why have store hours posted on the door if u r not going to stay open until that time I think u need to check your employees u r losing money by them closing the store before closing time ill never stop back there again
