I have a couple cats at home and went to the local Petco store to get their litter and food. My kid dragged me to the fish section and encounter what I consider substandard selling of fishes, each in an individual tiny plastic container cup, with nothing in it, most looked bored to death, or about to die from isolation. I will file a report to animal law enforcement, this is the saddest thing. I don’t think exotic animals should be sold at substandard conditions at pet stores, and I believe this practice needs to be banned.

I go for Vetco veterinarian services. Decent price for my dog vaccines. Beats going to any clinic with outrageous office visits costs. Just my opinion.

Beware of the petco/vetco scam.petco will be happy to take your money for their vetco clinics but if you need a refund they will tell you vetco is a separate entity and give a useless 800 number.so much a 30 day refund policy . Do yourself a favor and go to a real vet service. P.S. they really should have a no star button for companies like this.🤣

I dropped by without an appointment to see if I could get my dog Pooch’s nails trimmed. Paige, one of the groomers, was able to do the job. Pooch can be fidgety, but Paige seemed to have a magic touch with him and set right to work. He was calm during the trimming session and she not only cut the nails shorter but burnished them to make them smooth. The price was half what my vet charges and far better quality that the vet too. Paige did a beautiful job, Pooch was happy and so was I.

Unfortunately this location is a bit of a mess. There doesn't seem to be a strong management presence and the product seems haphazardly located. When I asked for crickets, I was met with an immense attitude and then given about half and half of dead crickets. I asked to speak with a manager after getting nowhere with the associate and both her and another associate said "there was no manager in the store." I hope you have better luck than I did.

As a regular for my multiple fish tanks I find the staff very informative! They really care about the wellness of your fish and will tell you honestly what you should be doing.

I live between this location and the Burlington location but generally choose the Woburn one. The store is bigger and easier to navigate, has a better parking lot, their clearance section is always great to get items to donate to shelters, and the front end staff is friendly (shout out to Andre!).

If I could leave a half star I would but I have to leave a 1, Eric or whoever the animal manager that is there doesn’t care about selling animals or the well being of them, My friend wanted to hold a bearded dragon that has definitely been there for a long time because she was on the fence of buying them, So I went to find an associate and found The animal manager and he told me we cant hold it because they are short staffed even though there was 3 of them and no customers in the store. It makes no sense to me for trying to keep an animal for so long and not let us hold it or try to sell it.

Wow!!! I have spent a lot of time in petcos and this last shopping experience was nothing short of amazing! First I needed assistance getting something off a shelf and the manager helped me. She mentioned to petco peel and assisted me on accessing it on my phone. Then I was chatting with her about my cat puking non stop even after a vet cleared him. The cashier Phyllis gave me her own wisdom and suggested the limited ingredient food line rather than the sensitive stomach I’ve been buying. I decided to change my purchase and also was told about their 30 day return policy regardless of it was opened or not, I spent a good 25 min talking to these friendly, and knowledgeable ladies. Now to test the theory! Thank you!!!

My go-to pet store. The employees are always very friendly and the store is typically well-stacked. I'm very appreciative of all of the accident cleanup stations around the store and my dog is always excited to come here

Petco Woburn has the friendliest groomers. They all greet you with a hello and a smile and love to see the dogs as rhey arrive giving them lots of attention. They all show how important it is to make the dog feel special on arrival.My puppy can't wait to see his groomer, Kelsey. Kelsey is extremely meticulous in grooming him and it shows with her excellent skills. Its so comforting to know your dog is happy to see his groomer and doesn't get stressed out during his grooming session.

Three weeks ago I got some ghost shrimp and I acclimated them and then dumped them in my tank. As days went on I think something in the water from the shrimp bags that had Petco water in it didn’t mix well with my tank water as a weird film developed on top. Because of this I did a 50% water change. So whatever you do, do not dump Petco water in your tank…Well now two days ago my Betta had a little fungal infection and it wasn’t bothering him but I could see it growing on his tail fin… yesterday I go to Petco and tell the associate what’s going on. They gave me a bacterial fighting solution called Artemis’s Microbe Lift to put in the water and said to follow the directions. I put half a dose less than the directions said just to be safe. I then stepped away for 20 minutes to go eat dinner and then when I came back later my fish was dead… thanks Petco associate…

I’ve been to this location twice, I ran into this petco to grab dry food for my cat (unaware that they closed at 8). I got there at 7:58 & I had one staff all up in my business saying he closed in a minute. Mind you I had just closed my own store, so this whole experience was funny & disappointing. The guy who rang me out didn’t look at me once. I get it’s annoying to have someone come in last minute but grow up, it’s retail. Here’s a pic of the time I was rung out, these people were UP MY REAR. it’s 8:00:45, relax.

I had the 20% off. Petco discount Was told that program was ending soon. But I could resign up. Be grandfather, den, keep my 20% off. If I signed up by a certain date. I was given wrong information. By Petco employee. It was a month before I tried to sign up. I lost out. Petco's mistake, but nobody would help me either by phone or impression. I have done thousands of dollars worth of business in there. Before enjoying my Petco rewards I take most of my business Elsewhere, now too bad.

This store was neater and cleaner than other Petcos I have been to. In fact, the messiness of those other stores is the reason I haven't been back! This store was neat, clean and well organized. I went looking for a less expensive cat litter than what I have been using, (because $25 for a bag of litter is insane!) I found that. Was also looking to get guppies to feed to my turtles, they didn't have any but I will probably be back if this litter works as I hope!

Been going for 30 plus years. Always has what I need. Got my guineas pig here and he lived for 8 years. Got all my dog food here. Same people have been working there for many many years. I like it better than petsmart.
