Dan at ACE hardware has excellent customer service. I wanted to order a shed, and he helped me over the phone to get it delivered to this location in 2 days. Then he was nice enough to deliver it from ACE to my house. If I had opted to get it delivered straight to my house from an online order from ACE, the shipping would have been over $200, and would have taken longer.Every time I go in there they are always eager to answer questions and help decide what to get.Love this place. Support your local hardware store!

I have had so many great experiences at this family run store. The owners Jen & Dan are fabulous people and all of the help is amazing. When we did a home remodel Jen helped me pick out all of my paint colors and did a wonderful job and then we had Dan come out and measure our windows and doors for blinds. He was patient and helped me pick the perfect blinds and then installed them. I highly recommend Wilmington Ace Hardware for all of your hardware, painting, blinds and tool needs.

Wonderful family owned shop. Stopped by the shop yesterday to purchase an Adirondack chair and it didn’t fit in my car so the owner/manager offered to deliver it to my house this morning at no extra cost! So nice and I will definitely go back to this Ace even though it’s a bit out of the way. Service is wonderful.

My husband was hanging outdoor holiday lights and realized a brand new strand from another retailer didn't work. We called Ace and they had plenty of lights in stock and were quick to help out! We are lucky to have them nearby!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked this seemingly tiny store was. It's a lot bigger on the inside, very well organized and helpful staff. Way better range of goods than the box stores.

Nice hardware and paint sections! My only suggestion would be two registers for checkout. Update! Went in today, 3/12 23 and it is totally awesome now! Extremely helpful,2 registers, friendly people. It's why I'll keep going back!

Wilmington Ace Hardware is an awesome family owned business. They moved next door to the original location and over doubled there size. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location for all.your hardware and paint needs. SHOP LOCAL!!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about the terrific people at Wilmington True Value!!! Every single time I was in there, pre pandemic the people were friendly, patient, kind, and funny. Taking the time to listen to my project needs, never trying to up sell me on some product. Always great practical advice and never condescending and willing to listen. Post pandemic? They GOT EVEN BETTER!!! I haven't been into a store in months as I have an immunocompromised family member and every time I call Kathy or Kathleen and anyone else pick up the phone, recognize my voice, help me find what I need, are patient, kind, empathetic, gracious, warm and personal. I feel SO well taken care of and I'm never afraid that someone is going to shout at me. I know that at this particularly stressful time, for all of us, patience and kindness are very hard to come by but not a Wilmington True Value!!! LOVE this business!

I think this store is great. The people there are courteous, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They have a small variety of things and often what I need. So if you choose to drive all the way to the big box store for some little thing go for it. As for me I’ll shop local and save the time and gas.

Love having a local hardware store. Needed some hardware to hang some pictures. Quick drive down the street to get what I need, then back home and to hang the pictures all in the amount of time it would have taken me to go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Will always check there first.
