High quality meats, always check out the circular for a good deal!Products that I enjoy that I found here include:chocolate candy coated sunflower kernels (haven't seen outside of Utah, in years!!!!)They still sell for brownies for $5 unlike market basket in stop & shop these days... And the brownies are much better quality density and texture then the other bakeries at supermarkets....The variety of meats are terrific there!!!From stuffed scallops to boneless lamb leg(plain or seasoned), 5 or 6 different types of seasoned chickens sausage beef turkey breast etc

Pick and choose who they want to hire. People who work in booth are unprofessional. I called twice to see status of my application was told both times they would call me back. They ended up denying me on indeed. I am qualified for the job have experience in customer service so I’m pretty surprised by their decision I am from this town so I will never shop there again.

Great selection. I come here often to get a sub sandwich for lunch. High quality meats which makes the subs mouth watering. The portions are large so you can make multiple meals out of one sub.

I go there often .. meats are excellent... but tonight 12/23/22 I had 4 party subs ordered , 3 meatball and a turkey .. well they lost power in the wind storm due to a downed tree .. I got there and all the lights were out and I went into panic mode .I looked at my phone and noticed a missed call from a # I didn't know. I called it and it was Christine from McKinnons , she had called me on her own phone and told me they had the turkey sub ready but couldn't heat the meatballs . They informed me they would give me everything packaged up and I could heat up at home.they went above and beond to make eveything rite in a situation totally out of their control. They made the party a success and were wonderful to deal with. Thank you McKinnons.....So now I need to add to last year's review. 12/20/23 I call to order 3 party subs for 12/22 . They tell me they can't do it , too busy !! Now mind you ,for the meatball subs the last 2 or 3 times I got them they gave me all the ingredients separate and we had to heat them up and make subs ourselves which is actually great . But no ..to busy ..it's Xmas time , it's gonna be busy , how can they not handel the business? It's time to buckle down and take care of your customers , that's the business you're in .. absolutely horrible !!!

Great place. Was good as Luccis and is still a good place as Mckinnons to grab a quick bite. Terrific ready to eat foods. The prepared foods done by the kitchen are awesome. Would recommend the ginger miso salmon. The selection of prepared fruits is the best also.

Just had a large catering order from this place. While i ordered too much food for the party it made great left overs for my teens. My order was on time and hot. My guests and guest of honor were very happy with all of it.

I have been wasting my time and money eating elsewhere for lunch and am so happy I found the deli counter at this place. They make a mean and weighty sandwich. I always think I am not going to eat the whole thing, but then I inevitably do. I spend the next couple hours combatting the onset of a coma with coffee. The hot pastrami and Italian are a way of life. Thank you for being. You have my sword, my bow, and definitely my axe.

I love going to McKinnon’s with my younger sister and they have a great selection of items with prices to match along with being super convenient for us as we live right next to them and the next nearest supermarket is a bit away to walk. While I will miss Lucci’s I’m glad they kept Susan’s kitchen and deli, the original orange Lucci’s sign on the roof that can be seen on google earth, and the two small carriages that my sister loves to use just as other young kids probably love to. Overall I’ve had a great experience and the employees are all so kind and willing to help.

They have an extensive prepaid homemade meals section, which is nice for all those who need prepared meals. I tried several. The lasagna and meatballs. (Purchased separately).They were good, but as my husband says, I am spoiled they have "nothing" on your sauce. Lol. They make subs on the spot and have a great meat selection. The rest of the supermarket was just that. Their fruits and vegetable section were minimal.

I have to admit, cashiers, don’t seem very happy. However, the food prices are about the same anytime you want to sub. They’re the best in town fresh delicious we go all the time their meat is excellent. It is always on sale. You go down there the least one thing you can buy on sale. I think people just don’t like change. It’s a tiny little grocery store course the price is gonna be high

I will NEVER go here again! Many items have no price listed anywhere!!! The corn in its skin was not listed and was $1.00 each! No price on watermelon so i didn’t bother Major jam up with 5 carts in the produce aisle between restocking on each side then 4 other people jammed up so i couldn’t move until they moved.. I looked at the Roast Beef in the case…slabs of messy RB all sitting together. I bought a pound and it said $10.99 a pound. The only sign i saw was a little sign that said RB $6.99 a lb… When i questioned the guy he said “ That’s only for Mckinnons RB NOT. Luccis” HUH? No sign distinguishing the two!!! BIZARRE … Expect to pay almost double at least 1/3 more for EVERYTHING… I miss Luccis i’m done! I’ve been going to the Everett location since i was a kid…

Nice little grocery store, but the prepared foods aren't as good as Susan's Kitchen. Bring her back please. Otherwise it's a handy store. Just the right size. Since my original post, this store has really picked up where Susan left off. I like going there because it's not a store that overwhelms you. Just the right size.

I highly doubt that this store will be around for long. I’ve bought their overpriced steaks, twice now. They were THE toughest, lowest quality, I’ve had anywhere. I just received this week’s flyer. Nearly everything has been increased insanely. The Holiday Roast, in ONE week, went from $599 to $799! Bologna from $399 to $449. I’ll be going up the street to Market Basket exclusively. After SIX DECADES of shopping Lucci’s, myself and entire family, won’t be returning here, ever again. To say their greedy, would be putting it mildly.

Bought rib eye steak today, so looking forward to it………omg was not edible at all! Not sure if I will even give to our sons dog☹️. Planning on going back to store tomorrow to speak to the meat manager and show them the label. Last time we tried McKinnons Salem, the marinated lamb was tough. Might become vegetarian …..

Love this place on the North Shore of Boston. Great selection with that old school market feel. Check out the Deli Counter in back for an amazing Sub for lunch.
