We shop here weekly! Always stocked when we visit. Friendly cashiers and baggers. My kids started here back when they were 14. Great place to start out. They will get you something if they don’t have it and keep it in stock for you. My elderly mom comes to our town MB from another town because of the manager and for this reason.

I just wanted to recognize an employee at your Wilmington Market Basket at Wilmington Plaza he was bagging groceries on cashier 12 his name is Tommy and he's been working at MB for 8 years.He talked to all the customers including me as we checked out, he is very friendly, conscientious (He mentioned to me that my bag was kind of heavy and said he would put some of the items in another bag I said i should be fine) and he wished all of us a Happy St Patrick's Day!!! Needless to say I was IMPRESSED. Give HR a pat on the back also for hiring such an outstanding person!!!

I was in need of groceries following a recent hospital stay. I had health problems that prevented me from walking too far. After calling the store on a whim, a scooter was delivered out to my car, and employees at every turn inquired if they could help. They even helped me load my car with my belongings. Just those three suitcases made a tremendous difference in my life. Thank you for maintaining the feel of a family-run company.

I love Market Basket, food and selection is great, BUT I had a terrible encounter with the cashier and her nasty attitude, Like bro I don’t know what I did besides buy stuff, I felt really appalled with her behavior. I was about to leave, but I was unsettled and distraught, it took marsh to find a manager, and he was very understanding and sympathetic when he showed. I’m all set with the Market Basket vibe for good. They need some security in there or self checkouts.

Went grocery shopping at Market Basket. Quickly located without the need for a map. We located everything we needed. No empty racks that I could tell. The prices at Market Basket are lower than those at competing supermarkets in the neighborhood. Parking lot lighting is adequate. You should wear a mask, although it's not mandatory.

For the most part, this Market Basket location is amazing! It’s not only conveniently located, but has a great selection and a similar floorplan to many of the other stores so it’s easy to get in and out. Today I was super impressed with an employee working the Mexican food section who tried to check inventory on a truck that been unloaded so I could get the taco shells I wanted for my little girls birthday celebration. Unfortunately, she couldn’t locate them but it was definitely the kindness and care that I was so impressed by. One of the only downside to this location, as well as many others, is that market basket hires lots of minority workers who do not speak the local language. Fortunately for me, I speak Spanish and I’m usually able to communicate with said workers, but I think it’s quite wild that most people coming and going in the store do not speak Spanish and would be sadly disappointed/frustrated if they ran into the situation I encountered. Today, for example, I went to the produce section and just needed directed to the limes and the lady stocking looked at me very puzzled and told me she doesn’t speak English. This seems like a common question/phrase and even the words are very similar in both languages. I ask her in Spanish and got to where I needed to go. I really wish that Market Basket would at least support these people by offering some free classes or partnering with organizations that do free classes or even reimbursing English lessons for those who are working for them. customers and the employees, and the entire organization would benefit from this type of program.

Came in for an interview at 9. Man I spoke on the phone with walks right by me, goes upstairs to chalk it up with the higher ups, finally someone from customer service told me to have a seat since the manager is “busy”so i go sit down, time comes to 9:30… I have obligations I have I ended up just leaving because they are so unprofessional

Living right around the corner is super convenient for me and the only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars is because I grab alot of food at the Market (hot food) in the front of the store and the lady Lisa (2 years of experience) says it on her name tag has to be the most miserable person I've ever seen in any kind of retail setup in my 32 years on this planet. Wow is she brutal. She basically yells at the customers if they don't know exactly what they want at that precise moment. It's kind of embarrassing to act like that on a daily basis. If she hates what she does that much, there are other places to work in the store, not to mention every place everywhere is hiring. Take a chill pill women and relax.

Chronically crowded and understaffed, the shopping experience at this particular store is horrid especially given the new ownership, higher prices and narrow aisles. Even weekdays are like a living hell in there now. I feel bad for the few employees that have to suffer through that misery day in and day out.

Mid-sized Market Basket, but has full kitchen for prepped food for lunch and dinner to go. Expect the inventory has filled in across some products out of stock. Vegatables fresh and fruit pretty good quality for consistently good price. Meat is at good price point with many options.

I know this particular store like the back of my hand!Everything they sell here is perfect!Make sure to snatch a rotisserie chicken before they're all gone!Market's kitchen sells great little meals, perfect for taking to work for lunch!They also have bags of gourmet cookies that are the bee's knees, the ones made by themselves, near Market's Kitchen!The deli is just superb, and is worth the wait, if there isn't any line that is!Best place to go food shopping-period, or at least in my opinion.

The store is clean and organized. The employees for the most part are friendly and helpful. The prices are the best around in my opinion. Some of their stores are cleaner than others. The older ones could use a little sprucing up, but the new ones are great.

Clean bright easy to get in and out of with well running fast gas machines. Store employees are friendly and easy to communicate with. Only drawback is store doesn't have much for food or snacks to choose from. Much more variety at 7/11 across the street. Wish they would correct that. Since I would prefer to go here.

The best thing about this place besides the prices and variety is the sandwich counter and employees. I live in another town and love coming to this store. They are that good. Employees are the best I've seen .Good job.They made the covid restrictions more bearable and we're nice throughout all this time. Cashier's are fantastic and friendly.

After a recent hospitalization I needed some groceries. Due to medical issues I could not walk a great distance. On a whim I called the store upon arrival and they had a scooter brought out to my car every aisle an employee asked if I needed assistance. They also assisted me by placing my items in my car. Only 3 bags but it made a world of difference to me. Thank you for still acting like a family business!

I've known this store and many of the employees 2001. This is an absolutely top notch place to shop. Countless are the times I've asked where a specific thing is and the folks on the floor outwardly prefer to take you to the product. 'Personable' would be an understatement. Variety, freshness and of course the super low prices on lobster are, again, top notch.

Shopped for groceries at Market Basket. Easy to find without navigation. Found everything we were looking for. Didn't notice any empty shelves. Market Basket is more affordable than other supermarkets in the area. Well illuminated parking lot. Masks are encouraged but not required.

Place was clean and bright. Maybe I'm an old soul... maybe I just like to greet people. I was walking around for lunch and I had more customers than employees acknowledge me and say hi.When at the express cash out line the cashier didn't even recognize we moved up... he tried to give me the bag of groceries.I would have given 5 stars if even one employee said hello.Maybe I should have given 3 stars... they are still in the people business.

Great market in the heart of a great living area. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Every employee seems to know where most things are. Outstanding! The grill is great! for under $10.00 you can get a fresh made steak n cheese sandwich with peppers, mushrooms and bacon! I often get some groceries here when I visit my buddy that lives near. There is no Market Basket in Boston proper so I enjoy my visits even more so.
