Great first impression! The store is tidy and aesthetically pleasing; the fish appear healthy; their tanks are clean and contain appropriate shelters, etc.; and they have a nifty set-up for their frags.Dre, the manager, was friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. I was particularly gratified to see how patient and careful he was when catching the firefish we decided to get.The store’s loyalty program is pretty decent, plus they carry a variety of LRS food blends that our fish enjoy. We’ll definitely stop by when we’re in the area again.

Amazing service. I pulled up to the store today, just to find out that they are closed, however there was a worker there who let me in and shop around. He spent upwards of 20 minutes talking to me about different coral and fish, and he gave me a ton of advice with my tank. It was one of the best experiences that I have had with any store. From now on, they are the only place I am going when it comes to my reef. Highly recommend.

Love the Reef is the best reef shop in Mass hands down. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to answer questions and offer advice regardless of your experience level. They have beautiful and healthy fish, inverts and coral, clean tanks, a huge selection of additives, food, and gear, and they can test your water to boot. Best prices around, too. Place rules!

Drove over an hour to get there, I've always heard good things but what a great shop. Friendly, helpful, great selection on everything and not just the same old frags blasted in blue light they have a great selection of unique stuff at really reasonable prices. But it's really all topped off by how it just feels like you are dealing with another reefer and not at a shop looking to make a sale.

Even though the shop is a bit of a drive for me, every visit has been a great experience. Staff are all very helpful and ready with advice regarding corals and fish. The coral tanks are pristine and corals look healthy. Also they have a good selection of equipment and coral/fish supplements/live/frozen food

First of all I drive an hour just to go here because the fish stores I have tried in New Hampshire do not have a good selection of corals. Every time I’ve called for advice or needed something for my tank they are always there to help. It’s an even better experience visiting the store in person. Dre is extremely friendly and always ready to help with what ever I need. They are always running specials and they have a point system which is fantastic because it cuts the prices down even more. Just to reiterate amazing store amazing staff. Definitely worth the drive!! Thanks love the reef !

Fantastic place to go for everything saltwater! We are setting up our first saltwater tank and there is just so much to learn. I appreciate that they take the time to explain everything and make recommendations- and if the best thing for your tank/setup isn't in stock, they'll order it for you! I came in wanting a specific light and they shipped it direct to my house.They have an amazing selection of corals too, and the prices are good. Our tank is finally ready for corals next week and we can't wait to go back.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Impressed by not only the selection of corals and equipment, but the incredible staff is the best part of this store! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! They walked me through step by step how to setup my first reef tank, answered all my questions and showed me various products depending on my price range. I now make a visit at least once a week! I seriously cannot stress how awesome this place is, truly a hidden gem!

Fantastic experience. Made the trip to the shop for the first time on Friday. Was very impressed with the hospitality, coral selection, organization and health of every item in the store.Really was amazed at how clearly everything was labeled and priced and all the corals were sorted in an easy to navigate way.Will definitely be returning for multiple visits. Well worth the 45min drive down from NH.

Definitely one of the best reef stores in the area. Always an amazing and wide selection of corals, wide ranging, and fair prices from beginner corals to rare collectibles, small frags to larger colonies. Great selection of food, plumbing parts, live and dry rock, and fish too. Check their weekly updates for fish and call ahead as the store gets busy and can sell through a lot of their fish stock in a weekend.

I love this place. They have a huge selection of corals for reasonable prices. They have a good selection for fish and inverts. The staff is extremely friendly and I feel like I can ask questions without judgement. Really excited I found this spot. I've had plenty of experience on the freshwater side of the hobby, but only recently started up a saltwater system. As such I made it a point to visit (or revisit) all the aquarium stores within the greater Boston area to gauge where I would be making my saltwater livestock purchases from. You can tell a lot about an aquarium store based on how well maintained their systems are and I was shocked by the wide range that I encountered. Quite frankly there are some that I don't think I would ever dare buy livestock from, even with extensive quarantining before adding to my display tank. Love the Reef is by far the nicest I've encountered. Display, coral, and fish tanks all look great. Selection is good as are their prices. The staff is friendly and super helpful. IMO this is the type of aquarium store you should support with your business.

Checked the store out while staying in Boston. Very impressive store knowledgeable staff that take time answering and explaining questions you may have. Huge selection of coral for the best prices I have seen at other stores. And the tanks and store are very clean. I think the owner and staff care more about the hobby and the hobbyists more then making a buck. They get my 5 star rating.

This place is amazing!!!! My wife and I made the road trip here for our first time and we’re beyond impressed!!! Everything from the staff, the livestock, the equipment, and to the displays is top notch!!!! I’d say to anyone that hasn’t been it’s an absolute must! You’ll be hooked and going back for more!!! I go to a lot of reef stores, but I have not yet had the courage to start a salt water tank. This place seems like the best stocked, best maintained and friendliest place in eastern Massachusetts. It’s a really pretty place to be, the people seem knowledgeable, and the variety of fish and coral is to die for. one day I’ll have a clown fish of my own.

What a great shop - lots of colonies so you can see what frags will grow into, unique coral selection at all price points, great invert selection (I’ve been looking for cerith snails for ages). Clam the size of a football! Great prices too. A must stop if you have a reef tank.
