I don't normally take the time to write reviews and I know that I should as I depend on them although sometimes it is challenging to make a decision due to the varying opinions. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay this past week. We were visiting with some friends from the Adirondacks and this was about halfway for both of us. They had been to Williamstown numerous times before. The room was perfect. The price was perfect especially considering the recent increase in inflation driving up all prices. The owner was courteous, very friendly, and most welcoming. The continental breakfast was also a great way to start the day. The location worked well for us as it was just close enough to the downtown area for us to walk. I would definitely recommend the Maple Terrace Motel and we will stay here again if we ever return to the area. Thank you Ashwan and Rita for making us feel at home!

Very cute cozy Inn within walking distance to campus. Have stayed here now a handful of times and will continue to anytime I’m in the area. Always clean rooms, they just got brand new mattresses, and they are building a fire pit area in the already beautiful back green space with the gorgeous views. Outstanding service! It’s always such a pleasure to stay here.

We were a group of 9 and we got caught in torrential down pours while riding motorcycles before getting to the motel. We checked in and they offered to dry our clothes in their dryer! The grounds are beautiful, pool was crystal clear, rooms were very clean with complimentary snacks and water! Bathroom was clean, shower was hot and the bed was very comfortable. The management was so friendly and helpful. We will be returning for another visit!

My wife and I spent the weekend in Williamstown to visit MASS MoCA, and I was quite surprised with her selection of a Motel for our stay (Motel is normally a four-letter word for her), which she booked several months in advance. She did her research and determined that the Maple Terrace Motel was the best blend of value, location, and comfort, and boy was she right. We stayed in a deluxe King Room, which was spacious and very, very clean. The owners focus on providing a great experience was apparent from the get-go with the pleasant greeting at reception, including a very detailed and helpful overview of dining options in the area, the nice little touches in the room (Hershey's kisses on the night stands, small cinnamon rolls and spring water bottles on the fridge), easily positioned smart HDTV with an extensive cable TV line-up, beautiful grounds with multiple seating areas, one over-looking rolling hills with huge willow trees and grazing horses, and the well maintained, outdoor heated pool area. We also enjoyed a pleasant walk through the adjacent cemetery to the Water Street wine shop and restaurants.Highly recommended, would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Highly recommend Maple Terrace. My husband and I met another couple and stayed here during a recent weekend in Williamstown. Owners take great care of the place and are very accommodating. Rooms are immaculate. Breakfast included. Pool is pristine and warm and looks out on a grassy hill with horses. Grounds are lovely. Hidden gem in Williamstown.

We booked a night for my mom to stay. As you enter the driveway, it gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling. The motel is very well taken care of and clean. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room… perfect for one to two people. Had all the amenities that you’d need. The room was comfortable, safe and quiet. They go above and beyond to make sure that your room is sanitized and clean. And add local bottled spring water to the package. Well done Maple Terrace!

I had a queen room at the back and it was great. Super clean, quiet, convenient to Williams College (5 minute drive) and a grocery store (5 minutes the opposite way). Family owners are attentive and lovely. Gardens with seating, birds, hanging flowers and a beautiful grassy back yard with picnic tables/seating and view of pasture with horses.

We needed a place to stay after a hockey game at Williams College and found Maple Terrace Hotel on line.We had concerns about staying at a "Motel" but because they allowed pets (we have an 8 lb toy poodle) we had limited options in the area so we decided to stay there. We were pleasantly surprised as it was a quaint, quiet and comfortable room and because it was the only pet friendly room, there was even a pet blanket and dog treat for our dog!The staff was extremely friendly and the room was, in the words of my wife, "the cleanest room we have ever stayed in".As soon as next year's hockey schedule is out we will be booking our next stay at the Maple Terrace Motel!Safety: Set off the main road, we felt very safe

My wife and I spent two nights at Maple Terrace Motel and we fell in love with it. Our room was spacious, very clean and contained everything we needed (coffee machine, glasses, fridge, hair drier, even welcome muffins and chocolates). The beds were comfortable with high-quality linens. The property is gorgeous and quite large with nice views of green rolling hills and lots of Adirondack chairs and tables where you can have breakfast or a drink in calm and serenity. Lots of flowers everywhere, including in hanging baskets. The grab-and-go breakfast is ample enough to start a day on a good note. Great coffee! The proprietors are very helpful and attentive. They obviously take great pride and take good care of their property which is immaculately maintained. They want their guests to be happy and feel at home. Just one example: the gentleman who was responsible for breakfast helped me with the toaster, offered milk for the cereal and held the door for me respectfully when I was leaving with my tray. Great place! Great people! Highly recommended!

What thoughtful hosts! It's hard traveling with pets these days but Maple Terrace certainly made it easy for us! They provided our fur baby with her very own blanket, towel, food dishes, and treats! And we were well taken care of. From in room pastry to real coffee cups and glass drinking glasses....bottled water and Hershey kisses on the nightstand, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser in the shower. They have thought of everything to make you feel right at home! The room is large and clean...the beds comfortable. The hosts themselves are super friendly and put their guests needs first. After having moved away from the area, we come back to visit family...Maple Terrace will be our only home away from home when we visit!!! Maple Terrace should be your only option for your motel needs!!!!

Loved the 1960s drive up motel. Everything was new and spotlessly clean. It had the charm that brought back memories of when I was a kid traveling with my parents. The owner, a very friendly gentleman made us glad we didn't stay in a Big box hotel. The grounds were well kept with lots of plants and flowers with a nice seating area.

Lovely family run motel near to Williamstown centre. Beautiful gardens and great heated pool. Simple but well maintained room and great value for money. We appreciated that they offered breakfast which while basic, was a nice extra. The staff were very considerate.

There's a reason this place has 4.9 stars!Great location near town and extremely well-kept grounds and room. The room was exactly what I needed and a great deal. It was well setup, clean, had everything one might need plus a few small and appreciated touches that always help when you're on the road.Owners and staff were super friendly and interesting, and clearly take pride in their business. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for stays in the area!

This place was fantastic! Stayed with my 9 and 11 yo sons overnight in July. The kids made great use of the heated pool. The air conditioning made for comfortable sleeping. In the morning, I took my coffee out to an Adirondack chair facing a beautiful field. We were super close to Williams College. Lots of dining options including delivery of Thai food. Can’t say enough positives about this charming and immaculately clean motel.

We love this place! The location is excellent, right in Williamstown, next to the legendary Williams College campus, within walking distance (less than a mile) to shops and restaurants, and the Clark Art Institute. An hour’s drive to beautiful Manchester, Vermont. Very reasonably priced, super-clean room. Ours had a coffeemaker, microwave, and dorm-sized fridge. Quiet area.We stayed off-season, but there’s a big pool and spacious grounds on the property.Highly recommended!

Rooms are clean, well-sized and made comfortable with nice amenities. Beds are exactly right and comfortable. Rooms are quiet. Grounds are well maintained - it is clear the owners are meticulous and take pride in providing a comfortable stay and at an excellent value. Pool, grounds - comfortable and clean. Location - on Main Street and close to all attractions and eateries. Within walking distance to many things, if you are so inclined. Host Ashwan is accommodating and genuinely fun to speak with. Friendly, accommodating - highly recommend. We will return whenever in the mood for a getaway to enjoy Williamstown and all that region has to offer.

This motel is charming and meticulously clean. The pool is well-maintained and warm. Gorgeous views, and the owners have brought back the continental breakfast as a to-go, so we can enjoy it in the room or outside while lounging in one of the Adirondack chairs that face the beautiful farm behind the motel. Plenty of parking too. This motel and the town are so nice that we extended our stay an additional night.
