Overall a very nice store, one of my preferred places to shop. Very clean, well lit and stocked. Prices are great! Though there are 2 other stores closer to me, this one is right by my work and I prefer it over the other 2 locations, mainly for the kitchen. The pizzas are great and the sandwich counter the best, always fresh and never an ounce of attitude when you request something to be made fresh like chicken nuggets. Anytime I order food over the phone it's always ready in time and as ordered.Other than a couple of experiences with lazy and rude younger employees, I have only had great service at this location.The deli counter is very efficient and I love that Big Y now carries Boar's Head, that was the pivoting event that won me over as a loyal customer, that and the fair value pricing that beats the competitors. Big Y as a whole has really stepped up their game lately, I'm very impressed and satisfied with all the kitchen, deli, seafood, and bakery products and services, always top notch!! The Table and Vine section in this store is always well stocked and has a lot of fantastic choices. I highly recommend you come to this store for your grocery needs, pick up a take out menu for that quick, affordable and delicious lunch or dinner, some of the best onion rings around! The app is great as well, I always get offers to load that seem to know when I need them. Also mentionable are the rewards points, I save a lot of money on gas!

Big store, very nice, organized, and clean. This store has ample parking and boasts a large selection of products. There is a pharmacy, liquor, bakery, and more. Restaurants nearby if you're hungry afterwards and more shopping choose by if your running errands. This is a fine store to do your grocery shopping - can recommend.

Coming from NY where my local store is an ancient Stop & Shop, I forgot how big the Big Y stores are. This particular location seems quite busy. The bakery section was quite large, as was the floral section. I feel like you can find everything you might need from this store.

Used to be my favorite lunch spot but the portions are getting very small. Calzones used to be stuffed. Now your lucky if you find any toppings in them.

I am highly upset with this store and the manager. Me and my mother purchased Doculax for my grandfather and only to find out when we got home that it was not in the bag. We go back to the store not even 20 mins later and show the cashier who could confirm my purchase but was unable to find the item. The manager eventually comes and I ask if he can find the bagger who was bagging my items but he insists to review the cameras instead. So he reviews the cameras that show the item was scanned but it is no where to be found in my bags, my car or the house. I am a Christian and have no reason to lie!! Especially about something worth only $8!! He made me repurchase the item and did not offer a refund or to replace the item. That is just wrong and not good management. Justice will be served!! I guarantee.I will be taking this matter to whoever can do a better job.

The fruit freshness used to be better. A lot of Strawberries are already rotten. Bananas usually are always fresh. Price is excessive but they usually have a broader range of items and relatively small lines when is time to pay.

This is by far the best Big Y in the area. There is a large selection of all items, my favorites to pick up here are sushi and the ready to cook meals. If I have a choice, this is the Big Y I go to.

Really nice Big Y supermarket! Large, clean store with several departments including an awesome pizza shop with a dining area as well as a beer and wine section offering several options at pretty good prices! You can pick up fresh wings at the wings bar or sushi by the pizza shop. There's also a butcher shop, large produce section, a fish market, and a bakery so you can get pretty much everything you need in one trip. The workers I encountered were helpful and friendly. There's plenty of parking. Overall a great store!

The store is amazing! Wow, the produce & bakery have a great selection of products. Seafood selection was great. Prices are a lot better than Stop & Shop for sure. The shelves were stocked, and the store was clean. In Texas, we have HEB, and I would say Big Y is pretty close to the same! I know when I visit Springfield again, I will shop BigY. Thanks y'all

Some staff are friendly and I really do like them but others (the bakery) have displayed full on contempt during all three times in five years I have ever asked them a question. I am not the only one who has commented. Prices are a bit high but that is common knowledge. At times, I dread having to go there and deal with the sometimes extremely entitled clientele -as an example, someone's kid running full speed from around the next aisle, then around and at me (so I couldn't see him until he nearly ran into my cart- yet I'm yelled at by oblivious parents who were both scrolling on their phones to "watch where you're going!" because I LOOKED startled. 😱)...or the latest- "wonderful" lady who literally forced-stop my moving cart while I was strolling to cut me off to grab a quart of juice while loudly blabbing on her Bluetooth because apparently she was too important to wait an entire second for me to pass- or, God forbid, give me an "excuse me" heads-up...(geez, that really isn't asking much, is it?) even worse, she justified her behavior by pointing out that I shouldn't have accepted an incoming call (🤣🤣🤣) ...this all isn't just ordinary, run-of-the-mill rudeness- it's entitlement at a new level and it's gotten bad enough to make me avoid going there. When did these behaviors stop being considered rude? I don't know if it's this area but perhaps some should stop enabling it. It's so in your face lately and we do have a right to at least a say about it (would just like to shop in peace).

Had the three items I wanted for my evening dinner tonight. Very nice selection. Store is so hugh and it carries all you could ever want. The workers are most helpful and always very pleasant. Soup are fantastic. My favorite is broccoli Cheddar the best!!10/15/23This is by far my favorite Big y market. The store has tons of items not found everywhere. I'm now going to be making this market my go to place. The chicken here is the bomb and the store has the greatest people working thereThank you, one happy customer.

I love there pizza but it’s annoying going to get your slice of pizza. Then walking all the way to the register to pay. To them walk back to the pizza station to sit down and enjoy the pizza. That doesn’t make any sense. The had a register in the pizza station before and it was much easier. Now I think twice before coming to get a pizza. Because all the walking just to sit down and enjoy some pizza🤦🏻‍♀️

I already spoke with manager, so there is no need for the copy and paste response. It's seems nothing meaningful gets done about valid customer service complaints. The response is always personal. I think the managers have gotten too lenient with employees and just lackadaisical in general.Not only do some employees look angry and unapproachable, they openly have full on conversations on the floor which are unprofessional. Walked in the store and was greeted to an outside breakroom scene, loud and obnoxious in the produce section, nothing about work, talking about what sounded inappropriate for work.***Here is an example of the carelessness I'm speaking of. You'll have to experience the employees demeanor on your own. Some employees clearly don't hide their contempt, especially Maureen at the cs desk.If they were doing their jobs instead making everything personal, they would find these mistakes.Had I went through everything I probably would have found more issues. Customers should not have to worry about these things.AnywayI took this picture in the store on my last visit, 1/26/22. It's of an Italian combo wrap. This is the Manchester location. You see the tile floor.This ham or whatever meat is gray and had two days until it would be taken off the shelf or expired. Looks pretty expired to me. Shouldn't be there in the first place. I would have informed someone but was not interested in dealing with more attitude. Glad, I was paying attention. Hopefully no one ate that.There really is no excuse for any of it. It's very disappointing and makes me question their policies and procedures surrounding food safety and whether they even care or not.

First time going abd was very impressed with their sushi selection..didn't know they had a cookie club...so my child was happy. Definitely a thought if I was close or in the mood for sushi. Very comfortable atmosphere and everyone was nice.

This is one of the nicer Big Y 's. The place itself is nice and large. There is never to much waiting once you go to check out. Other than expected shopping I have only been to the deli and seafood counter. Both experiences were nice. It might be a little out of the way for some but if you get a chance you should check it out for yourself.

Changed the whole pizza serving customer experience. No register for this quick service also and the convenient by the food self check out was eliminated also. Bummer. Upon walking to the self serve, I was confused on the meal deals. Someone did service me, she helped me with the meal deal. I walked ALL the way to other registers to do a self check out only to be informed by the checkout man, (which was very polite) That I needed a chip for the deal of the meal. I was annoyed by then and hungry…But I appreciate your response, I felt like to elaborate more. Thank you at most for the pleasant workers you have there.

The store is very clean and well stocked. But everytime I go I'm met with unfriendly staff. Not all but a great deal are unfriendly. The last two times I have gone I was ignored at the bakery. There was four working the bakery chatting away! I literally had to wave to get any help. Also, an older cashier humiliated me. I can no longer spend my money at this location.
