Shelves not stocked well. Even asked for some meat, guy went in to check, waited about 15 minutes, never came back. Then to top everything off, checking out, something rang up wrong, asked the (asian) lady for help and she was rude and not friendly, not the first time ive had to deal with her. Replace her and put the other lady back in the self checkout.

I bought an Easter ham today. A signature spiral cut ham. I cooked it and thought it didn't smell right but I wasn't sure so I cooked it and it didn't smell bad while it was cooking. When the ham was done the meat was so mushy and it was just disgusting .Now I have no ham for Easter dinner

I love their freshly baked pastries. But unfortunately one of their bakers don't always cook the muffins long enough. There have been numerous times I pickup a 4 pack of blueberry muffins and they are still a bit raw on the inside. I even went in yesterday to buy some and there seemed like a few packs looked undercooked. The tops were extremely light. Not the nice brown-cooked look. Had to search through the piles for one that looked cooked. No bakers in the bakery at the time and service department was done for the day also. So if you love the fresh cooked muffins, just look before you grab them. Otherwise, always a good place to shop for food.Update 09/09/23: Nothing has changed in the bakery.

The prices are pretty high, the variety is pretty low, but the customer service is great.I think three stars is pretty fair.

First, the store just smells bad? Like all throughout the store is a bad odor. Secondly, I felt that half of the shelves were empty or missing products? Do they need more people working there (it seemed really understaffed)?Hope it gets better but that was a terrible experience and I’ll probably avoid the store now.

I enjoy shopping here. It's never too packed like Market Basket, they have fairly priced meats and they've recently installed self-checkout registers. One employee commented, "You can run that machine better than I can." 😚

With all the nonsense going on at the "other" grocery store down the street in Uxbridge, this place has stepped up their game. Their prices are competitive and the store is neat and clean. You can also get a parking space close to the door which is no longer true in the other place.

Horrible customer service today when power went out. Closed dairy and meat dept as people are shopping without announcing it. Then open 10 minutes later as I am cashing out. I get the comment that it's not their fault. Guess profits are so low they can't afford a generator to run everything. Hope the CEO's 8 figure salary doesn't take a hit.

The shaws is so unprofessional and rude. And the manager, her name is becky and she is dating her co worker. I saw her and her co worker in a shaws uniform kissing while i needed help for customer service. You all should be ashamed! the customer service is horrible and not to mention the rude manager.

I was shopping at the Whitinsville, MA Shaw's supermarket on December 22. 2022 about 9:30 PM. Despite having a cart full of groceries, there were no cash registers open. Self-checkout was the only option. When I expressed a complaint about this to the person manning the self-checkout, who happened to be a manager named Conner, he shook his head and then said this was a dictate from corporate for about a year. He seemed utterly disinterested in taking our concerns forward.If you are going to lower your service standards to those of Walmart, you should be lowering your prices to the level of Walmart. Self-checkout is fine for a handful of items. It is ridiculous for a cartful.

Great location. Produce is always fresh, meat section has a great selection, and always well stocked. Prices are pretty good, but having the Shaws app with coupons makes it better. Employees are friendly and the supermarket is usually very clean.

I went here on Tuesday between 12-1pm. The store is in excellent condition, it is clean, the bathroom is spotless. The staff are excellent, great to customers. I had so many staff here helping me to find things, and just generally being kind and smiling and making jokes with me (which I sincerely needed that day) , they made my day! One important thing I noted as well is the meat department with the seafood was the freshest I have seen meat and seafood in a long time any where I have gone to grocery shop. This store may be out of my way, but I may make this store my go to store because of the freshness of the products/produce/meat/seafood and the overall great visit with helpful staff. I called Robert the manager and let him know. Thank you all for being so kind, considerate, and helpful!

Shopped early this AM - Dec. 19th. The store is well stocked and staff are invariably polite and helpful! This week one employee tracked down summer sausage for me and today another found the garlic paste that was eluding me! We are fortunate to have such a well managed store in our locale. Thank you very much! Makes shopping much easier during these busy times.

Shop there once a week. I always get fresh cut watermelon at a great price year round. I buy the sales and use coupons. The prices are better than some other markets. Variety of foods and beverages is good. I check the clearance racks for good deals on candy, household, bakery items, even pans and toys!

Went there last night but more than likely won’t be returning to this store in northbridge. We went to the prepared foods section and asked to purchase some baked/fried chicken. The woman who was working and bagging the chicken appeared to be racist! My husband is African American and I am white, although he was the one picking the pieces out, she refused to speak to him and would only look at me, she appeared extremely irritated and bothered that he or we was even speaking to her. She was throwing the chicken around, threw the tongs on the top of the counter etc and spoke to us as if we didn’t “belong” there. Our 9 year old daughter even commented on her behavior. Very disappointing! With all that’s going on today, this is still the treatment people spending money in your store receive?!

Always clean and well organized. I love the fresh fruit selection, and I've never had a bad deli experience. If you're going for white fish, I reccomend the captain's catch, it always so very fresh.

The prices are just crazy high. I know we are suffering inflation under Biden administration, but it seems Shaw's is taking advantage of that to raise prices extra high for extra profits. Cheaper prices can be found elsewhere.

As usual, unless you skip church in favor of getting the ground turkey on sale, you'll be out of luck in the afternoon. Never have enough of some items on sale. I didn't get some basic items I needed, like rice. Very pricey on alot of the staples. I thought Shaw's was getting out of the gimmicky sales business, but they still rely heavily on these confusing and labor-intensive bargains like " pick 4 ", "pick 6". Insulting to patrons. And prices are rigged upwards to offer the so-called bargain. Very disappointing. I thought they were going to take a more straight forward sales approach when they remodeled. Gave couple of stars for friendly and helpful staff.

My trip to Shaw's today is a very positive experience. I was there right after 5:00 p.m. the young man bringing in carriages. And waited not only for me but several other customers to file through The entrance and get our respective carriages or baskets with the appropriate social distance before continuing to put the carriages back into the queue in the vestibule. I found everything I needed and the young man that checked me out was just as polite efficient and professional. Well done to Shaw's Whitinsville!

I don’t usually shop here as I go to market 32. This place is closer to home and is sometimes more convenient when I only need a couple of things. I once went for garlic powder, and they were out. GARLIC POWDER. I asked for St. Louis style ribs today , and was told that he doesn’t think they have them. No effort to look. If I ran a business and someone was looking for 20$ worth of meat, I’d walk my behind to the back and double check. I give 2 stars, since I find 2 of 5 ingredients I need when I go there.

My family loves coming here because the customer service of the staff is amazing. If we had issues with our produce or meats, they repalce or take care of it immediately. As we shop around we are always politely greeted and ask if we need help.

Loved all the trays I ordered from the deli and produce departments! Thank you Kevin (in deli) for your help! I ordered the fruit, veggie, cheese, and Italian trays. They were beautiful and everyone asked where I got them. Much enjoyed by my guests! I highly recommend Shaws in your party planning! Big hit at my daughter's grad party!

I always have a good experience. Sometimes the workers are a little chatty with each other, and the line moves slowly - but people should be able to enjoy their work. Can be pretty busy here, but that's not the fault of the store.
