The pharmacist has zero people skills. She acts like she knows more than the doctors. There is almost always a prescription line because usually there is only one cashier. The only reason why I have been using them is that they are close to my house.Today they cancelled a prescription that my doctor prescribed for surgery, because supposedly it interacts with another medication. MY DOCTOR HAS A LIST OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS! He knows what interacts with what. This is the second time they have done this. I am done with them.

My doctor prescribed an injectable medicine and syringes. I got the medicine okay, but they are out the the syringes. Okay, I don't need them for a couple of weeks. This is one of the most common syringes 1/2" 29g. I call after a week and they repeat the same mantra. We don't have any. Usually a pharmacist will order things the prescription requires. Not in this case. A couple of weeks later I have to pick up a different med and ask about the syringes. I haven't heard anything. I have to go to another counter where they can look up my prescriptions. I seems they could not look at the other register where they looked up my new med. So off I go. "I am looking for my syringes which my doctor prescribed along with my injectables". Oh, these are not covered.Covered or not I need them. BTW my old pharmacy just gave them to me, no charge. She disappears and comes back with big plactic bag of syringes in ten packs. Checks the insurance again and yes they are still not covered. "So how much are these?" It must be secret, because she says $3-$4. A pack of 100 should be $20 max and this would be 30-40. No thanks, and stayed to tell her what lousy service they gave me. No syringes, no calls, etc. Thank god I am using this place only temporarily til I can get back to my old pharmacy. (NOT CVS) If you have any other options, use them.

The lady that works the pharmacy counter is wildly rude. She yells at customers; you can see from these reviews this is not abnormal for her.With all due respect, why work with people if you enjoy yelling at them so often? We don't use CVS anymore, the folks at Hannaford's pharmacy are more than pleasant.

Went to get a medication they didn’t have, which would have been fine except the blonde lady who informed me of this was extremely rude and acted like I was bothering her. Someone should tell her talking to customers is part of her job. I’m glad to travel 45 minutes to get my meds if it means never having to speak to her again, and I will never go back into that store for anything at all.

Pharmacy staff is so rude and pushy. Calling from a Dr's office to check on a medication for a patient and gut hung up on twice, put on hold 3 times and then was spoken to rudely when I finally spoke to a person..... Tighten up CVS your here to serve the public! If you don't like your job get a new one!!! CustomeR service is EXTREMEMLY IMPORTANT AND YOU LOST THAT PART OF YOUR JOB!!!!!! DO BETTER PHARMACY STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude staff and they’ve filled the wrong medication dose which messed up my thyroid. If a medication is not covered by insurance you will hear nothing from them so you have to be super on point forcing them to do their job or your medication will stay on limbo forever.

Incompetent to the max. They tell me I never picked up a prescription when I’ve taken it for 6 years! The doctor sends in a prescription, I wait a few days and pick it up…it’s not there. I can’t even recall how many hours I’ve waited in line for pills that are not there because of the incompetency that is the Whitinsville CVS. Going without my stomach pills for weeks because no one can do their job right. Yea, American healthcare system. Zero stars!!!

Between this CVS and the one in Uxbridge, I'm lucky to get my diabetes prescriptions at all. I am constantly having to try to reuse supplies or make do with less because there's always an issue with my refills. I always give the benefit of the doubt, but when the people you talk to on the phone outright lie to you, that stops. If there was any other Pharmacy closer I would use it.

They might be understaffed but the people answering the phone won't do their job and will only tell you yout prescription is processing forever. When all it takes is a phone call to your doctor to straighten out any drug interactions. They need to step up and communicate this to the patient so we aren't waiting for days. It's a simple fix and a professional way to avoid delay. This is my last chance with CVS before I switch to Walgreens

Absolutely awful. They have always been kind of medium until you really need them. I had spine surgery recently and throughout the past 6 weeks I have tried to fill multiple prescriptions and rarely has it gone well. Day 1, I had my procedure and was sent home expecting meds that had been prescribed but nothing until a day later. Always an excuse they can’t fill promptly. Tried to fill my pain meds today (Saturday) and they said sorry, we have none. Asked about another refill due in couple weeks to prepare and they had wrong refill date and told me I got double the meds last time so I’m good. I disagreed and stated they didn’t give me that amount last time after dose change and I was told they gave me what prescription and a different amount. I asked her to look up the amount I last received and she responded there was nothing she could do without looking it up.Between attitudes from pharmacists and those who attend to the consult/refill desk, they are lucky 0 (zero) isn’t an acceptable rating. Been in town for about 15 years, and CVS Whitinsville has gone totally down hill. I will be moving to a new pharmacy and exchanging convenience for customer service and ability to fulfill my needs for prescriptions.

Staff members aren't on the same page. You get a different "story" depending on whom you are speaking to for things that should be standard. I get the sense that some of the pharmacy techs just don't care for the job and it shows and it's not good for CVS nor the customer.

Not sure if it's corporate or management but the pharmacy is purposely so under staff the line is always 10 plus people deep. They need double the staff to handle the work load

Worst place ever! One of the pharmacists gave me and my husband attitude and was being rude, saying she did not have my husband’s pneumonia medication and when I got the doctor over the phone they said it was sent! As a person in the healthcare industry I am mortified to see that people who are part of the healthcare industry are just rude, snobby, and inconsiderate to patients who are sick and need their medications to feel better. BTW my husband has a history of pneumonia, and it gets progressively worse each time.

I recently moved to Massachusetts. I stopped in cvs to get some supplies. While looking around I did not see a worker anywhere. I got what I needed and went to the register. There was no one there either. After awhile I saw a self check place, so I went there. It turns out I had problems with it. In my frustration. I look around and notice different people walking out with items. The doors were wide open so I guess it is normal here. If this is the way cvs is run, I can understand why they have closed down in other states.

Generally the people at the register are just fine.The brazen 'what do you want" attitude that one woman serves over the phone has been allowed for years at that place. It's not the kids up front.

If I could give a 0 star I would. BY FAR THE WORST CVS's to deal with. Ashley claims to be the "manager" of the pharmacy, she is by far one of rudest and most unprofessional "managers" that I have ever spoken too. Honestly I feel bad for the employees under her and for any patients that have to deal with her poor attitude.

The store is fine but there’s something wrong with the pharmacy. They’ll pretend they’re filling prescriptions and then not do it. They even hung up on my primary care office— who does that?? Come here if you want shampoo, don’t ever try to get antibiotics

Got kids their covid Vax here and the pharmacist administering was amazing. She was super patient and made a challenging experience of getting young kids to settle down and accept that they were going to get jabbed doable.Comments for store here are all surface level; service matters more than cosmetics and I experienced 5 star service today at this CVS!

Rude attendants, Long lines & long waits, just has not been a pleasant to get my meds. As a longtime (30 + yrs) resident & CVS customer I’ve seen many changes & turnover, but when you are not feeling well & you have personal issues with limited drug coverage it’s not a place you want to go for your meds. The Drop Off counter is the worst, no common courtesy & no customer service courtesy It’s just awful at Whitinsville CVS pharmacy. In my opinion.

There’s a young pharmacy technician girl there who is always rude and has a bad attitude, me being ignored and no one noticed including Pharmacist. I was a pharmacy technician once at CVS so I understand how hard it can be in this field, at first I thought ok maybe she had a bad day I can relate been there done that, but eventually that’s just how she is as a person and if I were you I would find something that is more enjoyable or suitable than being like that at work everyday everytime, it’s miserable for $14 an hour.

My daughter, has been unable to get prenatal prescriptions filled. Has been told script will be ready, next day finds out its not. Multiple times. Two weeks delayed each time. Frustrating at all levels.

Very bad experiences (multiple times!) with their pharmacy. We drive to Hopkinton CVS (whose staff is fantastic & pharmacist is wicked smart) and it's worth every extra minute. Long wait times in Whitinsville, horrible customer service, incorrect information from pharmacist. Not what CVS pharmacies usually represent in my experience over two different states.

Always a wait, sometimes incorrect scripts. Periodically insist I participate in a "Consult" with the pharmacist, which I decline due to the fact they blurt out your medical information so anyone within earshot can hear... very inconsiderate, rude and I believe against the law. I go to my Dr and consult with my Dr, not a pharmacist that does not know all my medical conditions. We utilize this CVS because there is not many choices in the area... wish they'd clean up their act.

I have rarely had a problem here. My meds are correctly filled. The employees are friendly.There are sometimes long lines for prescriptions, but I just try and go at off times and mostly don't have to wait.

Incredibly understaffed pharmacy. Nice service but not dependable enough. Like you'll get a phone call about a prescription being filled, then you wait in line 25 minutes to find out it isn't filled. Not necessarily the fault of the staff but super annoying.EDIT: And sometimes you'll get a phone call for a couple of days about a prescription, show up when you're back in town, it won't be filled, then you wait, and they fill it incorrectly!They're still pretty nice and understaffed (not their fault), but it's hard to even give two stars when all of the basic elements of their job are flaws. Being nice (which they typically are) doesn't make up for it after a certain point.

Just called the pharmacy day two of prescription not filled. Lady on the phone was rude talked over me multiple times and slammed phone on me. This will not happen to me again ... terrible I hung up and changed my pharmacy immediately. To many poor reviews to have my health in their hands.

I have been shopping there for 35 + years at least 3 times a week. I will agree sometimes the staff seems to be over whelmed due to not enough help at times. I know the feeling for I too work 10 hours a day. However for 90% of the time they are helpful, dependable and friendly. I also think it is refreshing that they treat you more like a friend rather than a number. There attitudes are not scripted like most in the customer service arena.I don't usually write comments however I felt this should be said as well as say when you base a comment on 1 particular experience the picture is very small. Base it on a whole and the picture becomes larger.Thank you

After almost 30 years of business I am moving all my prescriptions and my allegiances to Walmart. Things were some much better years ago. Just read some of the comments and you will see why. A "2" overall is generous.

Cold medicine on shelves with expired date!Three wk’s past date. A store selling medicines should be keeping track on inventory on shelves with expiration dates. Very sad that my child didn’t get the cold medicine she needed because others can’t do inventory control.
