Walmart offers affordable prices and quality merchandise, which is commendable. However, the way they treat their staff leaves much to be desired. For a Fortune 500 company, it's crucial not only to tell employees they are valued but also to show it through tangible benefits. Improving employee treatment could really elevate Walmart's status as a star employer.

Been going here since I was a kid growing up in the area. I like it! It's not always stocked but for the most part, the employees do their best. Same thing with check out. It gets busy but the line moves fast for the most part. Store is a bit sketchy, kind of like any Walmart.

Small store with small isles. If you have a question for a random work in the store you may find they don’t speak English. Lines at the register seem to always be long and chaotic. Product tend to run out a lot of common items, along with there small selection of products. Would not recommend. They do not carry ratchet straps in case you were wondering.

It's Walmart people... weird people, cheap stuff, and aggravatingly LONG LINES no matter which location you go into.The people that work there are supposed to help you with anything you ask. (Per the Walmart bylaws), but it seems that the Weymouth Ma location that I go to does not have any employees that speak English. Because every time I ask for help finding ANYTHING, it seems the emoyee I ask tells me, "I'm sorry... "No Englay" !?

The people that work there are very helpful,l found that garde things are sheaper in that store. They have mulch for 2.47 a bag other place are more expensive. They will help you to put in your car or truck. Nice people thanks

Went to return and hours says 6.00am open for return..person 20 minutes lateWhile waiting shopping and in that time someone stole my return out of carriage..manager only checked register area and not carriage. Be care manager no help or useless.

Pictures were okay quality, very quick but some of the order was missing. Photo department guy was very helpful, also helped with cutting fabric in next section over.

2023: We frequently shop at this location for household items. Went in to buy one item a few nights ago , LED lamp for gel nail polish. They had a few in stock , but it was hard to find, the one box was laying down in it's spot, and the two other boxes were on top of the top shelf( not in arms reach) so it took us awhile to find the box just cuz the front wasn't visible and it looked like the only ones they had were out of reach, and the person working that section was a small older woman. We finally noticed the box and figured to check it, it was what we came for. Get home and noticed the tape on one side was already broken. When opening up the box , it looked like it was already used( with how it was packed and missing 1 of the 3 pieces) , the adaptor that plugs into the wall. I'm guessing that was why there was an empty clear bag with the USB. When checking out the wire and lamp, the wire it had a chunk of rubber missing from the end that plugs into the lamp. When checking out the lamp, one of the clear bulbs was blackened like it was burnt out. In the directions, it says the light stays on for 30 seconds and blinks 15 second intervals. The light do not stay on like stated. I used a nail file to show for scale. It only has room for 4 fingers and thumbs have to be done separately. I haven't used it yet with nail polish, but plan on it very soon even though I'm skeptical on how it will work after reading reviews.2021: Lots of options. Helpful employee's. Can find everything your looking for.

Worse experience ever. The employee at pick up was deliberately ignoring me. When I demanded my order,, she wanted to know if I thought I was special or I should get specials treatment because of the CAR I was driving! I did not look like her so I guess she felt the need to humiliate and insult me. Been a month or so and I have not and will not use this Walmart . If need be, I will use the Quincy store. Always had good luck there. Also, after complaining to Walmart about this incident, nothing was accomplished or even attended to.Another kick for me.

I would've gave 5 stars, but the check-out process they've got going on, is an absolute nightmare! This particular Wal-Mart doe$ have a HUGE variety of items which I've not seen at other Wal-Mart stores. Huge selection. Multiple sales going on. School supplies are as cheap as can possibly be! Flat screen TV's are SO inexpensive here as well!

Sorry not a fan of Walmart at all! Was in Avon Walmart and was with a friend checking out self check out I was watching this woman steeling sh-t loads of baby clothing so much I was scared for her getting caught so I told friend hurry up we get done go to leave and both of us was Grabed pulled into a small small room and was being held for .....guess.......shop lifting! No lie one of the 2 spiral hams we was buying didn't scan no excuse just a fact yet as we are waiting to sign papers agreement not to come back for 24 hours yup my punishment. I'm looking out door watching people leaving and there gose the woman I was watching steel all that baby cloths. Who they have running that lost prevention security people are all a joke. I will never shop there again and haven't since. We was buying food for a wake/funeral over 200$ worth yet 1 item didn't scan and we are theifs! 👌 ok.

Just your typical Walmart. Nothing special here. There was not much help available in the area and it was very frustrating to shop there. I don't Walmart in general but if you must hit up the Walmart in Boston

At 6pm weymouth, ma had zero, I REPEAT, ZERO humans at the registers.The line for the 4 non-human registers had, no joke, 38 people in line to pay for stuff. Of that at least 1/2 had half, to full, carriages.

I’ve shopped at this store for at least 10 years now and I’ve noticed over the last 2-3 years it’s gone from a 4 star to “maybe” a 2 star rating. This is due to the abundance of merchandise on its shelf’s. Within the last 4-5 months I’ve gone into the store and items have been out of stock every time I’m go in. I’ve also noticed that the price of bacon in the last 4/5 months has gone up almost 100%. Really? Also maybe 2 registers open and 20 people waiting in those lines???? I know it’s hard to get help but I see Walmart employees walking by looking at these lines and smiling.???? Think I’m done here.

This Walmart is FAR more organized and accurate with their inventory than the other Walmart stores in the area. It's not an endless scavenger hunt to find what you're looking for. I do wish the grocery section and food selection were bigger, but there is a Stop and Shop and Shaws literally right next door to the store, so I understand why there isn't.

The aisles at this location are so small you can barely fit 2 carriages down them, other local Walmarts don't have this problem. Staff can be rude at times.

Normally I don't review big box stores because I like to support local businesses but this morning I was trying to buy a Micro SD card and walmart has them locked up. I asked the guy that was in photos if he could get me one. He started yelling and talking over me. I kept my cool and tried yo ask again with the same result. This place is full of rude people that need to be retrained that the customer is the reason they have a job.

I came in last week and tried to cash a payroll check for 500 and something, I was told my the woman that they couldn't cash those kinds of checks for over 500$. I came in again tonight, was told by the exact same woman that they couldn't cash those kinds of checks over 200$!!! Make it make sense!? Especially when I cash my paychecks every single week, at one Walmart store or another and this is the ONLY one that has EVER given me an issue!! I've had checks way over 500$ and never ever not once has ANY of the other locations given me a hard time or mentioned this "limit" on paychecks. No one, except this same exact woman! I don't know her name, I was too aggravated to think to get it. I knew if I said anything more I would start getting upset. But she works at the service desk on Sunday nights after 5, she's a heavy seat older woman, about 5'6" with glasses and bad teeth.

as always lines are always too long and the quality of products dont reflect prices ( too high ) they need more Cashiers and less automated self check out thats not for the customer benefit... PAY HUMAN BEINGS TO WORK or start paying the customers for doing all the work themselves

yes i bought a pair ozark trail men shoes on line on august 31 i return them back at the store on 9/5/23 I should have got a refund for $29.98 the woman said it would go back on my gift card but it was not on the girtcard I been at the store 3 times still no refund the manger that runs the front end was very rude i told her i want to speak to the store manger but no help from her this manger this is the worst customer service in this walmart i will not come back here again

I only like few of there employees there management/secret shoppers treet customers like criminals follow me so much when I was with my son 2 customers came up to me to warn me because they thought it was some kind of sex offender following us an were concerned for my son's safety I thanked the young shoppers an left the store without my groceries an had to explain to my son why we were treated so unfairly every time it's similar because my son likes Pokémon he's 8 years old quincy is just as bad Abington is the worst and another thing once I purchase my items they are now my property and I do not need to stop and show you proof you have no right going through my bags if I have done nothing wrong! And walmart upper management dosnt care it's all about their bonuses they get extra $ by treating us like this Halifax walmart in ma also lie an say vendor only alow 2 per customer maybe 2 years ago I didn't realize the vendor makes walmart policies it's a private vendor but I'll speak up it won't matter but it's out there
