On our way to Quincy we stopped by this pet store. I have never seen a small local store take care of their animals they were here. Everything was clean fresh fresh vegetables in water, and all the animals seems really happy. Also the workers there are very humble and pleasant. For local small businesses I hope this place thrives and its worth stopping in for sure. I was quite taken back.

Update! I have had my Ciaque for a yea and a half. She is beautiful healthy and talks all day! She is still very healthy and happy.Got my very healthy baby caique she has been with us a while. Very healthy beautiful bird.

I can’t start with how much I love it’s a pets world. I’m a 16 year old boy who loves reptiles and many animals. I have bought crayfish, bearded dragons, many fish, and soon crested geckos. They hooked me up with very healthy animals and not one has died or gotten sick. They always make sure to give there customers the best food/ things that make a tank safe. I suggest if anyone wants to have a pet, to get it from it’s a pets world! -Tyler Meyers

Great store! I mainly went to see the reptiles but I loved the bird selection as well. Owner/employee was very knowledgeable. The chinchillas and young cats were very cute!

Pets world has an eclectic group of creatures. I stopped in for beta food, and they had a few different options, frozen and freeze dried bloodworms, pellets etc. Employees and owner were very personable and they definitely cared for all their animals.They had betas imported from over seas. Their colors were super vibrant and they all looked very unique.Also, they didn't have ghost shrimp and the owner offered to special order them for me.Would definitely shop there again and recommend friends and family. Also, feels good to support locally owned small businesses.

Pet World is underrated for many reasons. I want others to take advantage of this hidden world as it can provide you with everything your pet can need or want. The best products. The range of pets is amazing. Priced very reasonable and very accessible for all. There are kittens, chinchillas, small, rare , large, intelligent birds. I held one on my finger. The back room contains various species of fish (freshwater to saltwater), tanks, accessories, and coral. There's turtles & bearded dragons!Rabbits & hamsters, pet carriers, cages, treats for dogs, and even birthday cakes. This is the only pet store stop you'll have to make. Please, have a quarter for the gum ball machine because if you get one, they take 10% off your purchase.

Horrible!!! I'm devastate! I bought a bird because my wife died suddenly. Died 4 days later.Because it wouldn't eat food I bouth.they were accusing me of killing it and they wanted me to pay a vet for autopsy. I told them I will wait 6 months for another .They refused wanted half of another I'm taking them to court.I have pictures. It did great and went back to being and died. Traumatized and devastate. Never again!!!!$$$$.

Since getting my bird from Pet’s World, my heart has been so full. Thank you so much Ross for your patience, fun personality, and helpfulness throughout the process to help me find the right bird. I couldn’t have had a better experience and really enjoyed our time and visits at the store. Pets world also has everything you need at very reasonable prices which is a plus! The staff here are great people, super friendly, and knowledgeable. Ross is AMAZING and highly recommend going to him or Michelle who is also great. I ended up getting a white bellied caique named Mango. The parrot is so gentle, social, and lovable. I can’t thank Pets World enough for bringing this bird to my life.

Since I’ve found my passion for fish keeping 2 years ago, I’ve spent a lot of time and a lot of money here!! And every time I have a great experience. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help you if you have any questions. My girlfriend and I adopted a cat and the entire process was effortlessly easy. This has become my go to pet store!! The only constructive criticism I see opportunity with is being consistent with pricing. Sometimes prices fluctuate depending on who’s working. Other than that I look forward to the new animals and products this location offers

Absolutely love this place! Animals are always well taken care of, have plenty of food and clean water. Michelle is the best, as are all employees that work there. Its the only place i bring my parrot to have her wings and nails clipped. I bought my bird before pets world was open. I can bring her back where i purchased her for free wing and nail care but wont do it. Michelle does a beautiful job on her wings...wont go anywhere else!

They did an amazing dog grooming my dog for fair price. Staff was friendly. Took my daughter in to look at the fish as well they have a little bird room in the back she loved it. And they have really cool specialty treats for pets special occasions birthdays etc. Always love to support local small businesses over corporate!

I want to support this local business but so far it hasn’t been easy. I bought my tank from here 4 months after initially stopping by and getting information about starting the hobby.After deciding the type of tank setup I wanted I called the store and asked if they had a certain substrate in stock. They didn’t have it but no worries they can order it, which would take about 3-4 days.Two weeks goes by and I didn’t hear anything. I give a quick call to the store; the clerk needed to check with owner again and see if he can get it in. No problem I’ll wait, meanwhile I’m sitting at home with an empty tank.Another two weeks passes and I still haven’t heard anything. I decided to drop by and see if maybe they forgot to call. I’m assured again the substrate will be in and I’ll receive a call on Friday.Nothing. Not even a “Hey we know you’re waiting, how about this instead?” After a month. of waiting with no calls and no follow up I decided to go to a chain store and buy what I needed.I wanted to support this store but they really didn’t seem interested in my business, in fact they seemed more annoyed than anything else. For now I’ll continue to buy online till I can found a friendly local fish store.**Update** I have still yet to receive a call for the substrate I ordered. If you can't get it in I should still receive a call; five weeks seems like a long time to wait when I can get the same product at Petco on the same day. Oh well.

Just grabbed a bearded dragon for my 7 year old. They were so helpful, super nice and the environment was pleasant. You can tell they know their stuff, and that the animals are well taken care. Will be back soon!

We frequent this store often and LOVE it! Michelle is friendly and very knowledgeable. We bought my eclectus parrot from there and continue to receive advice and helpful insight every time I call or visit. We also buy fish through them frequently and they are always the picture of health... all in all a great experience!

Love ruby the red parrot! .. but I did not like how they had the little birds in the cages and underneath their feet was just like metal caging it looked very uncomfortable on their feet I felt very bad for the for the birds in those cages they should have at least put newspaper down for their feet that I see it seemed very cool to me I did not like that one but

This is the only place in my area that I can get live feeder rats for my snake. They're a little pricey... $15 for a large rat... Sometimes it takes a while to get someone to help you because they're in the back or whatnot but when they do show up they're helpful and knowledgeable. The store is kind of dusty and messy but that doesn't bother me.

This is truly a wonderful little pet store! They carry fish, lizards, kittens (seasonally), birds, tarantulas, but no dogs. Michelle is so good with the animals! The parrots are downright cuddly from all the handling.They also offer grooming and will board small animals for very reasonable prices.

They carry a little bit of everything, good place for less common reptiles, as well as dubia roaches. Looks like they also import their bettas, so you can find some nice ones. Other fish selection feels like it could be improved. Make sure to do your own research before you buy a live animal.

Michelle was wonderful today! Not only was she helping so many customers, she made plenty of time to teach her clients about the pet and their needs!The rest of the staff are also great to interact with and all of the animals are so happy! Ruby is a pleasure to hang out with and the toucan is a sight.I couldn't be more pleased.

I feel good getting my feeder bugs from here. Prices are competitive for bugs and I always try to support small businesses when I can. Dubia roaches are hard to find and they have them! Also the animals for sale all look happy and healthy with clean cages. As someone who raises birds and reptiles, I know what to look for.
