I went there today get Nutro dog food. There were only 4 bags of what I get. Two were expired from Nov 2023. The other two had holes and one slit exposing the dog food. I wouldn’t recommend you get pet food from here. If you do, look at expiration dates and the bag for any damage.

Very handy store. They have a very wide variety of items for small projects at home or for a small job. The prices are very high compared to a typical home improvement store but that's normal for a smaller much closer store.

I have been going to this ACE for the better part of 30 years . The people there are terrific. I don’t know who interviews and hires their staff but they are doing something right. Everyone in there is very courteous and if they don’t know the answer to your question they find out for you. Their inventory is more then you could ask for in a hardware store their size.As a business owner and homeowner I am thankful to have an asset like this so close. I am there just about every day.

First time customer and I was amazed on how big the store is and the level of knowledgeable customer service associates was amazing. I've driven by this store many times heading to Home Depot, but that won't happen again! This store has everything! I even had a couple of keys made in the process. The young lady at the register was very personable and just made me feel good about finalizing my transaction today.

This is a great place for everything a homeowner needs from screws to paint on up to snowblowers. The staff are all exceptionally helpful, friendly,and most importantly, knowledgeable about the products they sell. This Ace Hardware store also participates in the Ace Hardware national rewards and discount program. The store has lots of convenient parking as well as an easy access ramp for the disabled. Yes, their prices are more expensive than Home Depot/Lowes but not by very much. The convenience of easy parking, knowledgeable staff, and an decent assortment of products make this Ace a great, hassle-free choice.

Poor signage for check out, (coming from the bird food side, ) lackluster customer service, at best, waited for an extended time, only to face a poor, actually bad. reception. It used to be Aces policy to be "the helpful , hardware store " this is no longer true ! Dealing with Amazon is cheerful in comparison. Deeply, disapointed.Probably the worse experience in s tetail store, in my 73 years.

I looked all over for a shingle ripping tool, that no one even had a clue what it was, nevermind carried. Low and behold, I looked it up online, and found it, and at a good price too.. .at Westport Ace Hardware! The closest place within 25 miles of me in all directions! Not Lowes, Home Depot, or even listed anywhere else near me. I was about to buy it online, and then found it here. Places like this are getting more rare by the minute. Try to buy from them when you can, or someday they too might be gone. Although the few times I've been, they are busy, but have enough friendly, knowledgeable help to make it a better experience than the big chain stores. Try them, you'll be amazed what they have, and know!

Absolutely the worst hardware store on the planet price wise.. I wanted a flashlight they had for 34 bucks got the same one at wally world for 15 bucks really why so much guess they want to retire in 1 year. Only good for emergencies. But if you can wait ..go to the depot or Lowes..The help though are awesome great people and polite. Such a shame because it could be a #1 store. Instead of an emergency or last result store..sorry but the truth hurts

If you need advice and ideas from knowledgeable staff this is the place to go. Of course, Home Depot is cheaper but their personnel are both clueless and disinterested about you problems. Lowes is far better than HD butstill does match Ace in terms of advice.
