I usually don’t do this but I believe something should be said. I’ll start with a little background I am from Connecticut and have always been a fan of shopping at my local stop and shop, I moved to Westfield and was very happy I had a stop and shop near by. I am African American and every time I walk into this establishment the workers have eyes on me constantly making me feel uncomfortable when shopping. Also multiple times I have reached out to employees for help finding items and I find myself being ignored and repeating “excuse me” more than once and also I have had employee completely just walk away and continue doing what they are doing ! When I go to self check out I am constantly being watched by the employee working in the area. Also I the fruit and meat dates are very concerning dating back to 4 days ago. It is a shame because I have always been a fan of stop and shop but unfortunately this is the end of me shopping at these establishments.

Stop trying to get me to buy your peanut butter at check out. Unless stop and shop says that they will match my peanut butter donation with their own stop doing this. It's a cheap way to make money off of your products.

This is a great store produce is always very fresh great fish department and meat department store bakery has good bread and rolls this store is very clean and well stocked employees always helpful I would have to say they have a great bunch of employees THANKS WESTFIELD 👍👍👍👍👍

The staff at the westfield stop and shop are rude and lazy. Cashier Cece was erratic in her behavior over charged on products and was over all a very unpleasant person to deal with. The card readers are slow and were taking time to process but she must have felt it was taking to long because she started demanding what I was doing, I was just waiting for the reader to process my payment. She needs re training

This is where I do most of my grocery shopping, it's clean and most of their stuff tends to be a bit cheaper than other stores. The self checkout is quick and efficient and the employees are helpful. The only thing I dislike is their fruits. Honestly they're not even that bad, but sometimes you have to really look around for the better of the bunch.

Great store to shop in ! But don't expect them to come pick up their shopping carriages off your property .A carriage was left on my business property on 10-31-22. I waited til 11-3-22 , went to the Westfield , Mass. store , courtesy desk & handed the employee my business card and told her of the abandoned carriage on my property. She picked up the phone as she told me she would call right away to pick it up.I thanked her and walked away.Here we are on 11-7-22 and the carriage is still sitting in front of my business .UPDATE: I called the corporate phone number that responded above on 11-8-22. I was told the store would be sent a notice to pick up the carriage. On 11-10-22 It is still there. A FedEx truck pulled into my parking lot . Removed a aluminum can from the carriage ,left that in my parking lot .Put a large delivery item into the carriage & delivered it to a neighboring house. Brought the carriage back to my business parking lot, left the carriage further into my parking lot and the can is also left on the ground from the FedEx driver. I told him not to leave the carriage in my lot. He did any way. Now I am mad at Stop & Shop , Also FedEx as I have placed a complaint with them also. Stop & Shop does not care !!

Stock has been a problem of late but that's not their faulty. Global shipping issues definitely makes meal planning a little tricky at times.Overall stop & shop have a great selection at completive prices. Their produce doesn't feel as good a quality as some other stores but it's acceptable.They definitely need more self check-outs. I can't count on both hands how many times I've queued for this area.

Sadly: this last week hasn't been my in my favor on any accounts. Yet; this ol' girly still plugs along daily life to do list best as can wearing my favorite face mask 🎭.

Watch out for panhandlers out front.3 years later this experience and statement still stands! I haven't been since I wrote the last review but was once again approached by someone asking for money out front! The store itself smelt terrible and it's too bad that something can't be done about the people that stop you looking for handouts.

S&S is a great place for getting everything I need in a one shop stop. They have good savings with weekly and monthly sales and if you go online and use your store card you can sign up for even more savings. S&S has a clean friendly environment that I will continue to shop at as well as recommend it to my friends, family, and anyone else who asked me where to shop in the area.

Service was great I had time to spend with my daughter while she picked up some chicken and going to the checkout at the courtesy desk wasn't so courteous when I was turning in a winning lottery ticket for it was 7:25 she was shutting down her cash register when they are supposed to be closing at 8 and they have been closing at 7:25 almost for the last 2 weeks and she was very not that nice I was very disappointed

Came to pharmacy today for COVID booster. The VERY small partitioned off area outside pharmacy where shot was given had table that was quite dusty/dirty on entire bottom shelf. I mentioned it to the person who gave the shot, and she said they only used the top part of table & the main store personnel were responsible for cleaning that area. She was pleasant enough, and the wait was not long...but the vaccination area felt unclean...and there was no offer to see it get cleaned...so I won't be back.

Nice people. Great pharmacist Mark who knows people by name. I had to wait a few minutes one time and was impressed with his awareness of the people and he wasn't even with the customer doing the transaction. It felt like everyone came over his house for a sit on the porch with lemonade and knew the family. Hope more people like him are in customer service. He's been faithfully working there for years. Gentleman too.

I shopped via their digital coupons. Am always surprised when I find a good deal. Went to self checkout and had a $2 paper coupon and the computer wouldn't accept. Don't be afraid to wait for clerk to process. Was worth the wait.

Went to get soft foods due to a surgery on my mouth today. Group of kids riding bikes and skateboards popping wheelies in the store and employees didn't care at all. One kid popping a wheelie almost smashed into me and when I asked the employees "they just leave em alone" and they smash up the store but nobody cares 😑 gonna go to big y for now on 👍

Always have an enjoyable time shopping there. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. The fruit & vegetable section is always well stocked with a great variety. The deli has a great variety of sliced meats & cheeses.

Great prices and good variety. The store is kept clean and as a customer of the pharmacy, I am especially pleased with this department. All of the staff is top notch. I would only recommend a little more attention to the cleanliness of the restrooms. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
