BigY always has such fresh produce, a lot of different items to choose from. They carry Boar's Head products & deli meats. The store is always clean and the staff is helpful if you're looking for something specific. They have a good diversity in food types.

A recent experience has caused me to amend my review. Previously I had fantastic experiences with this location.On 5/1/24 My wife and I made a purchase in excess of 90 dollars, upon returning home we realized an item had been misplaced by either the bagger or cashier and while on the receipt we didn't have it after looking extensively to ensure we ourselves didn't misplace it. I called customer service, the woman on the other end upon hearing that I couldnt come in today to fix it(its a 45 minute drive one way) promptly hung up the phone on me. I hope to rectify this with Big Y.

I recently discovered that my big y silver savings card no longer saves me money on gas unless I download there appI feel that this practice is extremely prejudicial against those of us who are not tech savvy or cannot afford a phone that can handle all those appsNeedless to say they have lost my loyalty if not my business altogether which is disappointing because I used to go out of my for those pointsNOT ANYMOREArthur VanPelt

Love Big Y. All groceries and food costs of all kinds have greatly increased since covid/Ukraine but my family has used this as an opportunity to buy less food, but higher quality and Big Y is great for this endeavor. They source a lot of their great products locally, have great meat, seafood, and deli depts and their produce section is always immaculate. Buy fresh, local, quality products at Big Y! If even trashy junk food is prohibitively expensive, you might as well get the good stuff!

I recently visited Big Y to buy some fresh produce, but unfortunately, the quality of the produce was terrible. The vegetables looked wilted and old, the fruits were bruised and overripe, and some of the items also had mold growing on them.I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the produce, especially considering the reputation of Big Y as a reputable store that boasts of high-quality items. It was not just one or two items that were bad, but almost everything that I picked up from the produce section.Based on my experience, I'm hesitant to return and purchase fresh produce from Big Y again.I hope the store takes the necessary steps to improve the quality of their produce, as many customers like myself are dependent on them for fresh and healthy goods.

Excellent employees! Can't say enough good things about them! Vegetables don't last. Watch the bags of onions. A lot are brown in the middle. A lot of the price checker scanners don't work. The scales in the produce dept seem to be out of paper a lot. Otherwise a good place to shop.

One of the best Big Y's in the area. Good selection and everything that you normally expect from big y in the bakery, deli and fish market. They have Lobster Mac and cheese when it is is season unlike the skimpy Southwick Big Y ☹️.

Staff is really friendly and quick to help. They have a really great variety of foods. Nice little area to eat in if you buy from the kitchen area (pizza, grinders). Only complaint is that their prices are on the higher side, best to go when they have sales.

I want to give a shout out to Troy in the floral department. He helped me make up a beautiful arrangement for a recital tonight. As it s not until tonight he suggested to put it in water and wrap it up later. He gave me all the items (even the ribbon) and showed me how to wrap the bouquet . Great job , thank you

It's a grocery store but not well organized. I have shopped here many times and still haven't seen raisins.all in all, not bad but could be better organized. Like all grocery stores, milk is way in the back.

This is our "hometown" Big Y. We usually go here for our meats and poultry mostly. Their prices are a little high on regular goods, but we do shop here for sale items and things we can't get anywhere else.

I always believe that Big Y are the one of the best supermarkets around but this Big Y in particular is the rotten apple. There's been few times that I have gone to this supermarket the staff is so rude they look that they had enough in life (miserable) . The food is not fresh at all. Hot Soups were so dry and disgusting. I ordered a 30 inch grinder and the bread wasn't fresh at all taste like old bread from 3 days ago. My daughter bought a slice of pizza the dough was chewy and hard. Cashiers stand literary by my side when I'm paying my groceries like they think I'm gonna steal something Mind you I'm hispanic...today I had enough because this is not the first time. Big Y Westfield SUCKS!!

Clean, well organized store with good staffing that gets you through checkout quickly. Great selection, and the produce and meat are both great quality. Good to go food too - their pizza is surprisingly good for a supermarket, as is their sushi. Prices are a little high on some things but their sales are great.

Love supporting this great local business! I like that there's an option to self-checkout as some people (not me!) like it. What I REALLY appreciate is that unlike another certain large "local" (foreign held) grocery chain, Big Y continues to have a sufficient number of cashiers on duty. Please don't change- self-checkout is not for everyone!

They have everything you need at this grocery store if you want groceries, which is good and the prices are OK with inflation, they’re not great, but they’re still OK compared to other grocery stores

Cashier Mike was very nice. The manager was very helpful as we purchased a Christmas tree but just a minor miss communication on leaving the tree outside so we didn't have any thing for it to be scanned. Manager helped right away and took care of us.
