So, I wrote the below review a couple of years ago but deleted it after assurance from the Roche Bros. home office that they would rectify the situation. Well, here I am two years later deciding to re-post the original review as the issue has continued.So, after a long and circuitous conversation with the store manager, John McCarthy it appears that selling fruit that is overly ripe on the verge of rotting is acceptable. Mr. McCarthy went on to state ”we don’t know the status of all fruits, for example watermelon until we cut them open." Makes perfect sense. I asked him once they cut open the fruit and see that it’s on the verge of spoiling - why would they package it and resell it. He just shrugged and stated "what else are we going to do with it ... we can’t throw it out." Brilliant. No accountability whatsoever.

Update: Changed from 5 stars to 4. Every few weeks it seems like something I was buying regularly is no longer being stocked. I've had to go to other super markets to get it unfortunately.Original: Staff all throughout the store is always super friendly and helpful. Prices are a touch high but they have a good selection and has that mom & pop grocery store feel.

OVERPRICED!!! Roche Bros price gouges EVERY item in their store. Here's one example. One year ago a box of Kind bars was $3.69, six months ago the price rose to $5.19, today the price is $7.99. Never shopping here again. Absolute greed!

They sell produce items like individual carrots and celery stalks by the pound. I was making soup, and did not need a whole package. Produce quality is excellent. They also cut meat on demand and sell prime beef.

Love Roche Bros in Westboro. Great butcher, fresh, good fresh veggies and fruits. Fair prices lovely check out people. Easy parking. Not too big. Only criticism is the paper bags break or are poor quality. Love the store wide coupon!

A solid well stocked grocery store with slightly above average prices. We do some of our regular shopping here. The location is very convenient and if you're only buying a few things, the prices are fine.I've never been to another Roche Bros or Sudbury Farms store, so I can't really compare to other stores. This store has a wide variety of produce, great cheese and specialty foods area, a butcher counter, and a solid seafood selection. Compared to other stores in the area, prices do tend to be a bit higher for many items but there are deals to be found if you're discerning.Staff are friendly, there is never too much of a wait for checkout and parking is easy.

Go to for delivery or pickup in Westborough, sorry pea pod. 10/10, ordering from today. I always forget to have cash on me, keep that in mind as the driver cannot be tipped through your credit card. Will make up for it today, I promise.Order for pickup, sit in your car, my elderlyness guided me when I went in to pickup my order. Well organized, helpful, organic is top tier, picked and packed for you. Produce is superb, fresh, not old like other services. Large selection of pastries, cookies, seasonal meets and cheeses, dee discounts for family packs, grinding your own sausage meats, ect. Grass-fed, exotic, local. Dairy galore. Candy everywhere, two ice cream freezers. Compassionate, warm staff. Bag boys and girls are attentive, creative and kind, one will even sing you a song while he's helping you bring your groceries to your cah.Going to miss this place.Westborough is worth it in so many ways.Photos are all created from scratch with ingredients from Roche Brothers in Westborough

Excellent grocery store with very helpful and accomodating staff. Signage is sometimes confusing or out of date. The facility is sized to an older standard (unlike supersized markets like Wegmans) and consequently has less selection on some items, this barely ever has a significant impact. I shop here despite having a longstanding personal connection to Wegmans, as it's very convenient to Westborough.

The most relaxing shopping experience and professional employees! Lines are short and plenty of staff to help. No glaring lights or foul odors. Clean and fresh food.We order Thanksgiving dinner through the catering department every year an it’s amazing! Just heat and eat!Prices can be higher than other local grocery stores, but the level of service, stress-free shopping and cleanliness makes me feel good about shopping there. The produce, especially strawberries, taste better than competitors.Sale prices are competitive; so shop the circular! And look at your receipt! Occasionally there is a % off coupon or reduced delivery fee offer.I am not a fan of the $6.95 charge when you order ahead for drive-up pickup. $3 would be more reasonable.

Good in a pinch but way too expensive. I always make the joke before I go that I have to “pay the Roche tax”. I guess it even out driving further to stop and shop. Every item is always $1-2 dollars more than every other grocery store.

Very overpriced. Sale price items were ok, but everything else is $1 to $2 more per item or per pound. Meat section was incredibly unaffordable in comparison to other local stores. I understand it's a prime Westborough location, but I think they would do much better in sales if prices were comparable to others.

Very clean store. They have some hard to find items. Good prices and great sales, somewhat more expensive than other chains. The friendly staff and nice store make up for the price difference for me, I can get in and out much quicker than other grocery stores. They have an actual butcher here, many more cuts of meats available and great sales on the meat as well.

This is definitely my favorite grocery store. The selection is varied but not overwhelming. The quality is excellent and the store is clean. Although popular, it's not usually a madhouse so shopping is actually enjoyable. The prices are a little on the high end but still reasonable.

I love how close this is to home and how the have frozen UNO deep dish pizza. But their prices are outrageous, they charge as much if not more than Wholefoods. It's kind of setup like a Wholefoods with out the quality.
