The motel is well kept. Fairly updated, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast restaurant on the property. Nice soft bed. I booked the handicapped accessible room with the roll-in-shower, but unfortunately the lip of the floor pan in the shower was too high for my wheelchair to roll over. I recommend bringing an inch and a half rubber threshold ramp to roll into the shower. Other than that everything else was good.

We spent 3 days in this motel and it was amazing! Rooms are very big, super clean. The bathroom is also clean and pretty new. Service is great. The location is also fantastic,you can easily reach Chatham and Provincetown. The area is very quite, so at night we slept very well, no noise at all. Also, right in front there is a place for breakfast that is really something to look forward to! We had breakfast there every morning and everything was extremely delicious! Service there was also great, everyone was really nice. We will definitely come back here for sure!

Clean and pleasant discount lodging just off the main highway between Hyannis and Provincetown this is a motel plus various activities on site and a very nice cafe that also caters to passing travelers. The rooms are decently appointed and capacious for the price, the staff friendly, helpful whilst laidback. During off season the office closes at 10:30 pm so make arrangements if checking in later then.

The room was not clean. Spiders with spider webs, thick dust on the wallboards, it was dirty around the bottom of the toilet and near the tub.Hot tub did not seem to be sanitary. You could not see down to the bottom. Water was murky.Also, I paid for breakfast with the room…big mistake. The breakfast vouchers were a nightmare to use, no one knew how to process them. The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. We stayed here 2 years ago, it was much better back then. Very disappointed.

My wife and I absolutely loved the Wellfleet Motel and Lodge. It might be weird to say, but we both love hotels, especially when they have pools, and this one was really excellent. Sure, it's not a luxury resort, but it doesn't pretend to be; it does exactly what it should, perfectly. The rooms (and really the entire place) were perfectly (even surprisingly!) clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The indoor and outdoor pools and the hot tub were excellent; the water felt fresh and were all a great temperature, and the pools were surprisingly deep, which is a good thing. The staff was courteous and professional. And you can't beat the price or the location; there's so much located right there in Wellfleet, from the drive-in theater to food and drinks and even Marconi Beach is just a few minutes away. We didn't want to leave (in fact, we extended our stay by a night at the end) and can't wait to go back. Many thanks for an excellent stay!

Was a ways away from anything but was a good size room with coffee, a microwave and a fridge. Ice machine available as well as soda machine. Outdoor pool I saw. Signage says they have an indoor pool also... didn't see that one.Rooms: Well outfitted and spacious.

I wanted to love this place. Our room was very comfortable and the rate was so cheap in the off season. But there are two issues.1) I could hear every conversation our neighbors had. The place was largely deserted yet of course we had neighbors. They were not being unreasonably loud… the walls are just thin. I had to wear ear plugs to sleep.2) No hot water! Not enough hot water for even a single adult to take a shower. The first day I managed a lukewarm shower but I took an ice cold shower on the last day… no point in complaining since we were leaving but how is there no hot water when there are only a handful of guests? Taking a cold shower when it’s 50 degrees outside is not my idea of a nice time.Honestly, it was worth it for what we paid and I enjoyed my stay. But I was so disappointed in my parting gift of an ice cold shower that it left a bad taste in my mouth.

The Wellfleet Motel and Lodge way exceeded our expectations! Our room was spacious and the beds were pristinely made and very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean and clearly well kept. Great location, just a short drive to the most beautiful beaches on Cape Cod! Also a stones throw from the drive in which was a big hit with the family! Will definitely return!

A great little motel, on par with some Marriott hotels I have stayed at! Great value with B&B breakfast rate, big delicious made to order breakfast, quiet, comfortable, super clean, friendly staff and decorated beautifully. It doesn't look like much from the road but the landscaping is lovely and all you hear are birds. Relaxing and close to everything, CCRT rail trail can be accessed right from the property.

A good place to stay-they have a hot tub, indoor pool, and a little balcony outside the room. Plus a yummy breakfast! Very affordable for the area as well. Only downside-no conditioner in our room.

We enjoyed our stay here! This was a no frills place and was perfect for our needs as we didn’t plan on staying here too much except to sleep. We did enjoy the indoor pool which was very clean, and having Harrigan’s Cafe on site for breakfast was very convenient. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the rooms clean every day. I would definitely come back for a future visit to the Cape!

We were immediately hit by the strong smell of mold from the room we stayed in. It was a dry week at the end of summer yet everything felt damp. within the first hour, my eyes started watering and throat irritated. It should be against the board of health to let/ rent out toxic moldy rooms. Our neighbors complains of the moldy smell too.Too bad because the mattress was comfy and courtyard door/ back patio was nice.Sadly, we won’t be back.

Overall it was just ok. Stayed 1 night for $200. Room was supposed to have a king bed but it was only full. Since we were there for only 1 night we decided to just let it go. However when we opened the door the room was very musty smelling. Had to air it out. At that point we should have requested another room. Liked having a little patio out the back door. Salt water pool was awesome and there was a really good group of people hanging out there. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very good and very friendly. When I checked out though I told the clerk about the bed situation. He was adamant that there was a king bed in the room. There's a huge difference obvoiusly! Overall for the money probably look elsewhere next time.

I’ll admit I usually stay at fancier places the few times I visit the cape but last minute planning left few choices.Fortunately this motel got the bill perfectly. The double Queen room was very spacious, immaculately clean and furnished with microwave, fridge and large tv. Had a little balcony too but did not use it. AC was very cold and not too loud. Parking right outside the room for convenience and a breakfast restaurant on site.Only negative is climbing a set of stairs for second floor room (no elevator) which I only mention because I hurt my knee recently. I would definitely stay here again

I’ve been visiting Cape Cod since I was a university student in the 1970’s, about as long as the Wellfleet Motel has been in existence. I have lost track of how many times I have been a guest here over the past 4+ decades, but I’ve always enjoyed this place — not luxury, but always clean, safe, and well maintained. If you are physically challenged (as I am) you need to ask for a ground level room — the original motel rooms are all ground level with cars parked immediately in front of the unit. There are also two newer 2-storey buildings with parking; a separate building containing an indoor pool, main office, breakfast restaurant (Harrigan’s Cafe), and outdoor seating area; and an outdoor swimming pool. The location of the motel is really excellent, with the Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary across the highway, a variety of food and dining options within a 15-minute radius, the National Seashore, etc.

Staff was nice. Room was clean and the air conditioning was already cranking when we opened our door. That was a nice surprise since it was one of the hottest days of the year. The listed 'cocktail lounge doesn't actually exist, they only serve for breakfast (bloody Mary's). Indoor pool was more like sauna but the outdoor pool was very comfortable and relaxing.

This motel is a gem in the perfect spot on the Cape. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and the rooms were fresh and clean (ours was recently updated and quite large for a typical hotel). The breakfast in the morning is homemade and delicious and they were very accommodating with outdoor seating and plenty of delicious coffee.The outdoor inground saltwater pool was perfect for us on the hot days and we enjoyed having lunch outside as well. The grounds are well cared for and the location is great - across the street from the Audobon and also right on the bike path to go to the beach (Marconi is super close). They are less than half a mile from the drive-in movies, mini golf, and delicious seafood restaurants. We definitely plan to stay here again and stay longer to take advantage! Thanks for a great vacation despite COVID restrictions!

The rooms were tidy and well situated. The front desk staff were very professional and courteous. The attached restaurant had delicious menu items, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The outdoor pool was very nice, with plenty of seating. The indoor pool, because it was a saltwater pool, had a rather significant bleach smell that made it impossible for us to partake of indoor activity. The motel is easily locatable, with plenty of parking. We will definitely be back when we are in the Cape Cod area.
