Clams and mussels were excellent! We LOVED the soups, both the clam chowder and butternut squash! I would’ve gotten a bowl if I knew how’d the rest would taste. My friend enjoyed the salmon and crab cakes. No one enjoyed the clam pizza. Fish and chips to fill us up was just ehhh especially with us being by water. Would return for clam chowder and clams and mussels but not for anything else.

Considering its run like a Family business, it's actually not bad.Service was good and dinner was upto par. Oysters had a creamy smooth and silky finish. Clean taste. However no chopped onions or tobasco. It comes with a vinegarette, seafood sauce and a small wedge of lemon.Main course, went for the fillet beef mignon. Can't fault the cook on the meat, the jus was ok... But the seasonal vegetable selection could have been better.Creme brulee had a nice burnt sugar crisp on top, but I'm not a big fan of flan style creme brulee but rather those from a deep ramekin. A fresh berry or two with a sprig leaf of mint wouldn't have gone amiss and better than the 2 pips of whatever it was placed on top. Traditionally I would have liked a home made shortcake to be served with it. But each to thier own.We were seated outside, point to note- book for indoor seating or bring plenty of mozzie spray, cause they will eat you alive. There's nothing set up outdoors to minimise thier constant presence.I was further taken aback by the attitude of the other workers at the end of the evening when they were moaning about something that occurred earlier. Certainly spoiled the mood and left a bit of a bitterness to what was essentially a nice evening.Good food, with plenty of room for improvement tho and perhaps a touch of finesse required at key touch points.Parking: Limited parking. Get there early as it's a popular dining spot.

I like to go here for a nice dinner. I've been here multiple times and enjoyed all of our meals. All of the dinner options are delicious. I got lobster tail gnocchi. Fabulous. My husband got the scallops which were equally great! Drinks are fun/good and there is a good selection. They even accommodated our young daughter with a delicious alfredo. Recommend for a night out!

Fantastic menu, including a desert menu that even I had to order from. The desert martinis are fabulous and the chocolate deserts scrumptious. I really loved the spicy tuna sashimi and the duck confit with grilled romaine was fab. My wife had the lazy lobster and it was also fabulous

Although it was booked up, had a nice spot at the bar. Very good menu choice, one selection of wellfleet oysters which is weird, figured you'd have a few different harvesters on the menu (there's no shortage in wellfleet). Although one choice, the oysters were phenomenal. Best I've had in a while. The special muscles were amazing with curry. The salads were small but tasty. I've never seen grilled romaine but I'll be doing it more often. Overall great experience, thanks to the bartender for handling everything!

Delicious. They have a risotto option you can add different kinds of seafood on top. I obviously got lobster that had an incredible grill flavor. Beautiful patio, food came out quick, great cocktails, and prompt and courteous service.

Great service at the bar tonight from Kim as a solo diner in mid-October. This was for years our go-to, always fabulous Wellfleet spot, summer and fall.…Sadly the wicked has gone downhill since Covid. 2020 and 2021 brought the worst server ever (we ended up with him 3 different times and he was completely indifferent and actually rude). This is the first time I’ve been back in 2 years. I ordered the grilled romaine with scallops and light on the dressing. Meal comes out — overloaded with dressing and wilted lettuce. I took a bite of a scallop and it tasted hot and good. I was going to make the best of it and decided that for $30+, this was unacceptable. I showed the dish to Kim, and said let the kitchen decide what to do. The kitchen came back with the same scallops (now cool), still a lot of dressing and cold grilled romaine. I don’t know, I am a pretty decent cook and have prepared grilled romaine many times; this was subpar. Feels like it was sitting around in the kitchen. I’m sorry Wicked, your food has really gone downhill ⬇️. Just my opinion of course. 3 stars for the atmosphere and bartender — one for food.

The Wicked Oyster is one of the best, most authentic restaurants on the Cape! THE.FOOD.IS.INCREDIBLE. End of story. The menu is extremely diverse with fresh, local flavors and amazing creativity. The cocktails and wine are also fantastic. My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here in September and Ken, Eliza and the whole team made us feel so special. We booked the event in the fall of 2020 when there was so much uncertainty and they were so extremely flexible, accommodating and communicative every step of the way. Every single one of our guests loved their meal. They even went above and beyond and printed custom menus for us with our names on them and gave us extras that I will be using in a scrapbook! Just so thoughtful. We are Wicked Oyster fans for life!

The clam chowder was creamy and full of flavorful clams and bacon. The cod gremolata was sweet and tender with a delicious lemony sauce. The oysters on the halfshell were extremely fresh and briney tasting. The staff was helpful yet gave us space to enjoy the evening out.Vegetarian options: A mushroom risotto was an option but also could be paired with a fish option of scallops or salmon

Wonderful experience overall. We sat outdoors in the beautiful garden. Everyone in our party of 5 loved their dishes. Among them the gazpacho, the lobster tail with gnocchi, and for me with special dietary needs they made a special dish with tofu and vegetables. A highlight of out visit to Wellfleet!

A very mixed experience. The food was good but they skimped on the appetizers. For example, we ordered the mussels and they gave one piece of bread with it. What food we did get was good. The service on the other hand was terrible. It took forever for our waitress to come over at first and that was essentially the last time we saw her. She never refilled waters or checked backed in. I’d recommend staying away based on what they charge for what you get.

Food was spectacular! Seafood is ridiculously fresh, servers are friendly and knowledgeable. They kept everyone physically distant but it still felt cozy outside. We had the grilled haddock and seafood stew as our entrees. Started off with caprese crostini. Delish!

I have been living in Wellfleet for a few years but have not had a chance to come here yet. It’s a nice place & the service was good. However, the food overall is subpar. The oysters were somewhat warm which is a shame considering the name of the restaurant. The entrees were so so. But the spring rolls are good! Overall I’d say there are better places to eat in Wellfleet!

We drove from New Jersey to get here and it was sooo worth it cause it was the most delicious food in the world the oysters were soooooo good best food ever definitely recommend to go there best food place to eat at super kid friendly very nice and comfortable ambiance also has very kind professional waiters and the crème brûlée🍮 was caramely and vanilla goodness five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating sooo yummy.

We hit this place on a very busy Friday night when Ptown restaurants were closed. So our experience may not be typical. That said, this place was okay. The service was a bit slow (understandable) but very friendly. I think the bartender was trying to make the wait easier by really amping up the drinks. Sadly, our light tan rum & coke was almost undrinkable. The food was fresh and well prepared but overall the menu was limited and uninspired. My $38 stew was 3 shrimp, 7 mussels and a couple of clams in a light tomato sauce. Nice place. Not a must-see.

We are outdoors on a pleasant summer evening. Overall ambiance was very nice and relaxed. The food was typical boring mediocre preparations made with excellent local ingredients, so kind of a mixed bag. Cocktails were watered down and obviously made by someone in a rush. Oysters were almost room temperature when they arrived. It wasn’t great, but I’m clearly in a minority as many people seem to like this place.

We dined on the outdoor patio with our dog. The outside area is so cute! The drinks were yummy, wine selection was impressive and food was good! Our oysters were not served chilled which was my only complaint... Everything else was fantastic.
