While most of the negative reviews center around the service, this place is a bit understaffed so take them with a grain of salt. It seems the only seating is on the patio (though I have not been when it is raining) which is quite spacious and dog friendly. The food was amazing and definitely worth the wait. Traditional eggs Benedict and the Gus omelet were super delicious and the cappuccino was well made, home fries were awesome as well. I recommend this place if you don’t mind the wait!

Do not hesitate, just go there. Friendly service and flavorful food. I enjoyed a quiche with kale and cheese and am already thinking of going back for dinner. No doubts, 5 stars.Went for a late breakfast the next day. Had a veggie omelet. So good! Ate it all before even thinking of taking a picture. Could not leave without ordering a quiche which became my favorite - kale & cheese. I find this cafe is well maintained with friendly and pleasant staff, plenty of sittings indoor & outdoor, and great food. Come to enjoy!

Best breakfast in the Cape!!!!We were looking some breakfast options at a local place. This was just a little detour to the state highway and in such a cozy corner. The vibe was local, right from an American home type. I asked them about their best suggestions and they said omelette. I ordered a veggie omelette that came with bread and home fries. Gosh! The best one. I relished it like anything. My friend ordered egg sandwich and he was not disappointed as well. It was sooo filling and yumm!Also, the staff and place is pretty welcoming. You wouldn’t regret.

July 2023, Charming place outside with lots of tables with umbrellas to protect you from the sun and rain, the inside was ok. They do have a parking lot on the side of the building. We sat outside and ordered breakfast. My friend ordered two eggs, home fries, crispy bacon and toast along with a Short Stack of Pancakes. When the Pancakes arrived they were not fully cooked, so she sent them back, and they brought us a new stack. Our Server did give us a reduction in the bill because of the Pancakes which was a nice gesture in my opinion. I ordered one Poached Egg, and coffee. I didn’t care for the egg because it was not soft inside and it tasted like it was boiled in Vinegar. Plus, Instead of putting the egg inside a cup, so it would be easier to eat they just placed it on a plate. All and all, I am sure lunch is better.

First of all let me tell you the coffee was awsome! I had the nova omelette, wife had the Denver omelette, both were great, home fries could have been cooked more but were good. Waitress was pleasant and food came out in 10 min, maybe less and was nice and hot, fresh ingredients, even the bread was good. Little on the expensive side, but we are on the Cape after all.

This place was perfect for a family dinner. We loved it. The menu has a bit of everything from seafood, BBQ to pizza and it's all great. The jerk chicken was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of families there which makes you feel more comfortable with your children, so as to not disturb others.

Food was fair - eggs a bit cold.What grates me is when you give the waitress cash and she asks “so are you all set” assuming the balance for a tip. Rude! - The other thing that boggles my mind is that the music is playing in stereo but only one channel is playing. As a result you hear things like classic songs with no vocal or just the backup singing . Someone needs to turn the balance control right or left . Does anyone notice Beatle songs with no vocal ?!!! - Will no return.-

The Flying Fish Cafe is worth the short walk out of Wellfleet Town Center. After a few years away, it was nice to find one of our favorite lunch spots still open (another was unfortunately gone). We sat outside because we had the dog with us. The food was great, as was the service. Decided to have breakfast for lunch and ordered an omlette. Was very happy to see goat cheese as one of the options in the "make your own omlette" section of the menu.

So saddened by my experience I was ready to give it the benefit of the doubt. But firstly, understaffed, owner needs to get a handle on the flow of customers:waiters ratio. Unfair to the customers and their employees. Got the jerk chicken sandwich ($17!) was hoping for at least half a breast of size but the chicken was maybe a quarter of a breast and was flattened. Was dry, lacked jerk flavor, and underwhelming. I did like the idea of the sun dried tomato Mayo though, that’s awesome!! Beet and arugula salad was solid, arugula you could tell was just poured out of the bag. At least give it a rinse so I’m not eatin dry, room temp leaves over here. Beets were great though, not bitter at all (I give credit to the beet peeler) and dressing was solid. Overall, average experience that was kind of frustrating. Latte was delicious though, chocolate chip cookie was dry. I recommend using more brown sugar to add moisture / thicken them slightly! I really hope the best for you guys, I’ll be back because I have faith!!! All said with the intention to help.All my best, Patrick

I don't review often but felt this was important to share. Owner/manager was nothing but rude. We waited over 45 minutes for them to come out to tell us we didn't have your dish... (one being a single scrambled egg for our 1 year old). I understand if you simply run out of a product, but there was no apology or willingness to accommodate. She made it feel like it was our fault. It's a shame, others in our family had similar experiences this year... Even if this hadn't happened the food wasn't something we're running back to have.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, patries, and dessert. All off the charts. I eat here several times a week and never had a bad experience. Everything is made from scratch in house, even the baked goods. Get your wedding cake here and you'll wanna get a divorce just so you can get another wedding cake.

Just picked up their Greek salad with chicken and it was very good. Nice portion. Also had dinner & cocktails here a couple nights ago; bartender / waitstaff were extremely friendly. Love the place. Definitely give them a visit. Highly recommend.

A fine place to eat. My chicken was tender and delicious. My friends got the pizza and found it tasty, although the crust was heavy on the garlic. One of my other friends got the steak and enjoyed it a lot. We thought the food was a little pricy, however it was definitely worth it. Nice atmosphere with a musician playing original music.

Went here for breakfast, had to figure out how the seating goes by ourselves. No one approached us as we stood at the outdoor patio. Once we self seated we were given menus by a less than enthusiastic waitress/waiter. We then sat for approximately 10-15 minutes watched as another party was seated and the waitress approached them and took their orders. We were never even offered water. We promptly left. Very disappointing.

Ordered 3 pizzas for take out. Maybe we got a new chef this particular night, but I'm posting pics of the BBQ and the Carne. One is obviously undercooked. Not sure why there are so many good pizza reviews. Must be from mid-western folks or something. This review is based off pizza alone. Did not try any other dishes.

Friendly staff and delicious food. We had a party of 10 and the server was still attentive and was able to get our orders in correctly. They were so accommodating with us trying to put tables together to fit our group. They have the usual omelettes and bagels on the menu, but don't forget about the cafe once you're done with brunch! They have DELICIOUS baked goods just calling your name.

Breakfast used to be really special here guessing they don't have the same cook. Really love eggs Benedict and it was not anything special my home fries were really boring and they were cold. My partner didn't care for her omelette at all . Wicked Oyster MUCH better!!

Great muffins and pastries, service is super slow, so you need time and patience, don't make morning plans you'll likely wait 20+ minutes for a muffin. Place is super popular, you'd think they would hire enough staff to accommodate the long lines. If I was rating them just off the pastries it's a 5, but the service makes it a 3 star.
