Smaller serving compared to others in cape. A little heavier on mayo, but not too much. Larger lobster chunks with single lettuce on a smaller bun. Fair serving size for the price. Bun on smaller side, but still a quality lobster roll. Mkt price $29, strong value. Would highly recommend.They have plenty of ice cream options. Nice view of the ocean

Great location and spot for classic New England fried seafood and more unique items like poke as well. Being on the town pier and having a beach right there, the vistas are unbelievable. The food is very high quality and the portions are somewhat small compared to similar places with similar food nearby (don’t expect to share an order or fries or scallops). The staff was nice and the wait was worth it. I’ll be back here again soon I’m sure.

Fun place to have some yummy seafood!We had fried shrimp (delicious batter) and lobster mac and cheese (awesome). The clam chowder wasn't my favorite, but it could be my own personal preference.A little pricey, but considering the location, it was justified.Friendly staff and a great spot right by the water.My only suggestion would be to have more small tables rather than fewer large tables. Seating was somewhat of a challenge because there were small groups sitting at large tables; folks were willing to share the table, but it would be more convenient to have a few more tables for 2-3 people.

We met a local couple that recommended this place to us. It was delicious! Don’t let the line scare you away. It’s very long, but it moves fast! Lost of free parking. Limited seating, but has walking on the pier and beach/bay access. Beautiful place to watch the sunset! The lobster mac n’ cheese was a must get!

A good spot for families and friends to hangout with beautiful ocean views, and space for the kids to play and explore(PS-- you can bring your own drinks/liquor if you like). You order the food at the windows, and pick your order up once your number is called. Easy, and super casual. But the food is quite expensive for the amount you are getting, and the staff are not all helpful and accommodating...

Big disappointment! If you are craving seafood look for somewhere else. The setting on the pier is perfect, so eat somewhere else and come here for a snack and for the view. The fish tacos looked like they were prepared an hour before, with cold saggy tortillas. First they said they ran out of soup I, but when I checked 10 minutes later there was a cup sitting there, by far the worse clam chowder I ever had, I did not eat it. The portions are tiny for what you pay. On my birthday this was a disappointment to say the least, will not be back. Tourist trap!

Fresh seafood and enjoyed my fried clam. (Market prices on the menu) I paid $70 for an appetizer size of 6oz lobster roll and fried clam total.(May 2022) No drinks and fries come with the order. I won't go back.

Fast service, great food and what a view. The scallops were fresh, spiced with just a bit of pepper and cooked just right with a light flour coating. The outdoor tables have umbrellas that magically don't blow away in the wind.

Another outstanding time at Mac's On the Pier. We came around sunset and the setting is just beautiful with the boats, water, sky, and dunes. It's a nice contrast to regular waiter service, with getting to choose your own table and pick up your food from the window. The chowder is some of the best I've ever had, and I've tried a lot! As well the seafood is delicious (you can look over your shoulder and see the seabeds it came from) and I got a crunch bowl which was amazing, highly recommend that. We finished our meal off with yummy ice cream cones too.

Have been coming here for over two decades. $32 dollars for this measly portion of lobster roll during a surplus is pathetic. Strongly considering changing our families’ restaurant rotation

First time up in Cape Cod with friends and we stopped here on our last night. This is a great takeaway place and the food was delicious. I had a big order of clam chowder, which did not disappoint. They close pretty early but if you time it right, you can eat dinner outside and watch the sun go down. Definitely a place to come back too. Plus, the ice cream was pretty good too!

My family and I love this place. I got the small cold lobster role. It was the best one I’ve had this trip. Quality amount good taste. Also had the original smoothie. Not too long of a wait and worth every bit!

The food is good. The service is very good. The atmosphere is amazing. So why is it four stars not five? Price for one. They are crazy high. We get gift certificates throughout the year so that come vacation time we have plenty saved up for a meal and ice cream.The second reason is we love clam chowder but the chowder here is not thick. Way to liquid which I don’t like. So I don’t recommend the chowder. However, it is worth coming here if you are ok with paying a decent amount of money and avoiding the chowder. Ice cream is good.

Good food. Not 5 star quality, but 4.3 would be a good rating. Decent selection. Fairly fast service. Good location at the pier. Walk-up window and find a seat at the public picnic tables. Waterfront. We ate oysters, lobster roll, wraps, cod.Ice cream was out of a lot of flavors. High priced for basic ice cream.

Decent amount of lobster but very soggy and buttery. Would probably not get the food to go.Signage is ambiguous. If picking up a call ahead order and not from the area, the takeout window is closest to the outdoor seating.Fries were good. Person who took the call messed up a side order, but I wasn’t driving all the way back for them to make it right. It wasn’t a busy night so I’m surprised by the mistake.

Fun walk-up restaurant on the beach with great views. The Lobster Bomb is deep fried lobster mac n cheese covered in lobster bisque - dangerous and delicious. Two kinds of lobster salad for your lobster roll. Quick service, lots of seating.

Such a great local spot with fresh seafood. There were kids meals too (like chicken fingers, fish fingers, hotdog, fries) so that was nice. My tuna poke bowl was amazing and I keep wanting another one. My friend was obsessed with her lobster roll. Get there early though because the line gets really long.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room to run around and play, and even a small beach to enjoy after eating.

When Mac's on the pier is too crowded and you need some space to feel safe while eating awesome Welllfleet seafood, check out Mac's Seafood Market right next door - they allow just one person in at a time, supersafe, and they sell the oystahs, lobstah, all the local catch and locally grown corn and anything you need to feast on Wellfleet's best back at your vacay rental. Oh, and don't miss the smoked bluefish for a breakfast-after treat, YUM!!!

The Portuguese kale soup was FABULOUS!! I couldn’t have asked for a better soup even on a hot day. This spot is a great place if you’re traveling with kids as well. Our kids love the chicken tenders and the hot dogs. The salads are great, and who doesn’t love a good burrito. I’d recommend ordering, and taking it to the beach next door.Thanks Mac’s!

Been coming here for years and I've never once been disappointed. Scallop quesadilla is out of this world, but I've also had a scallop burrito, the linguini with clams, the sushi, and several bites of everything else. The clam chowder is lighter than your typical cape chowder, less cream for sure -- in a good way.
