homemade biscuits & gravy were great. year round spots for breakfast are tough to find out here - running through this menu.Dietary restrictions: the staff & the kitchen are always accommodating

Great beer and even better atmosphere!! So glad they took over this space since it's had so much potential for a long time. The outdoor space looks like a fun place and they have a live musics schedule on their website and socials. I stopped to pick up beer on the way home from the beach that's down the street but deforest want to check it out as a hangout spot

I've always paid my visits here during the summer since it opened and enjoyed the lovely music. The push to review? Their breakfast they have been offering during these cold months. I've had their breakfast three times and the French toast banana bread pushed me to write a raving review. Absolutely delicious and I'm so glad I got this over what I was originally going to get. A+

Great vibe. Great place to chill after a day at the beach or after a bike ride on cape cod rail trail. Food was good! Thought the summer salad could have more veggies but dressing was really yummy! Special wings were so so good!Only thought I wish there was a better system for getting food order through the QR code…maybe the table could be assigned a specific. QR code for table service. Other wise it was an absolutely great experience! We will definitely be back!

cool place right on bike path. we have been here multiple times this summer and last. the beer is excellent with a good variety and options for our non-beer companions. corn hole outside with music ;great vibe .inside very clean and neat layout. staff is friendly and knowledgeable. food and service was very good and we grabbed to-go for beach after food there (salads excellent). minimal downside was lack of shade and allowing dogs should be a given (plenty of room for well behaved 4-legs and dogs are Cape cool) Overall, we loved our visits.

Fun spot, decent vacation food with a full bar inside. Live music outside was good. Prices were standard vacation slightly over priced.

Very average. Beer is okay, food is edible. Husband got the Cuban and it was fine. I got the turkey Reuben which was ridiculous. No thousand island dressing and made with kimchi instead of sauerkraut. It was very unwelcome after expecting a traditional Reuben and having no description of these “interpretations of a Reuben” on the printed menu. Okay everything was too expensive for the quality provided especially the beer. Over $9 for a mediocre draft beer? Crazy.Staff was kind and outdoor space was pleasant. We won’t return while on our trip.Kid-friendliness: Outside garden area is very kid friendly but don’t expect kid friendly food. They have exactly zero kids menu items and nothing in the grab and go section for a kid meal either.

Great, casual outdoor beer garden area. Nicely spaced tables for 2 - 4 people and plenty of larger tables to gather with group of friends or family.Place your order for drinks and food at the bar stand. Good, cold local beer on tap. Some specialty cocktails offered as well as wine. I had a spicy margarita, and it definitely was spicy and tasty. But they were out of the advertised jalapeno garnish. That would have been the perfect kicker for me! Next time, hopefully. The menu is casual, pub style food. We enjoyed their veggie pizza (added pepperoni) baked in the brick oven in the restaurant. Very thin, crispy crust, fresh veggies and flavorful sauce. They were also offering "Buck a Shuck", Wellfleet oysters for the low price of, you got it, a buck each. Can't beat that deal! They were served nice and chilled in an ice filled metal tray. The two of us ate at least a dozen and the pizza too!On a previous visit we had the Brewery Pretzel with our beer. Not bad, though I prefer a chewier version of a warm pretzel. We pretty much ignored the rather bland pub cheese served alongside in favor of the much better grainy mustard. All the food we've seen being served looks good. We'll eventually get around to trying it all, I'm sure.Friendly bar tenders and servers at the walkup bar.We haven't eaten inside yet but went in to check out the brick pizza oven. The interior looks inviting though it was empty when we went in late May. I'm sure it will be busy in the summer, inside and out!If you remember Rookies Restaurant then you know where this place is on Rt. 6 in Wellfleet, before you get to Marconi entrance.Go! Have fun!

I'm giving this 5 stars based on how hungry we were after 26 miles on our bicycles. The beer and the food - admittedly just burgers and fries - tasted extra good. The property backs up to the Cape Cod Rail Trail in Wellfleet, and there were at least 12 bicycles in the rack. We sat outside, enjoyed the music and friendly service, and just chilled. If you want to hang out, get some brews and burgers it the area, do it. BTW - the burgers were big and tasty. One order of fries is plenty to share for 2 or 3 people. Enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for local, and the new "beer yard and surf lodge" concept at the former Rookie's location is a great idea that will be very successful long-term. But as it is, in Hog Island's case, that ultimate success will be entirely due to tourists' relatively elastic standards/budgets, and in spite of Hog Island's notoriously mediocre beer and the new place's small and badly overpriced menu. Only five soups/salads, ($10 for a CUP of chowder), seven starters ($10 for a pretzel), five pizzas ($15 for cheese), five sandwiches ($13 burger), two sides (fries: $6.50), and only six beers to choose from ($8.50 - $9.25), all of them inferior to essentially all other local beer brands. Good spot otherwise, with well-done renovations and solid food quality; I would go back if the beer selection improved and prices became more competitive. (A menu of excellent size, quality, and value can be had literally 20 yards away...)SEASON 2 UPDATE: Some prices have moderated slightly (pretzel now $8, chowder cup $9), while cheese pizza is actually MORE expensive ($16) now, as is a simple burger ($17). The blonde Summer Ale has been added to the lineup, representing by far the most normal/drinkable Hog Island brew to date. This success is tempered somewhat by the hefty $8.50/16oz draft price, but this is not the worst value around, either. Overall, one additional star added to review.

Great lunch specials for $9.75. We had fish and chips, pulled pork sandwich, Italian sub, and a shrimp po boy! The butternut squash soup and clam chowder was also very good. Also had one beer which was good. Very good food and for a great price!

Nice beer garden in a great location not far from Marconi and Wellfleet beaches. Friendly staff. Oysters were pretty good but not the best. However, I would definitely go back!

Super fun pit stop on my bike ride today. Literally steps off the bike path. Surf memorabilia on the walls and great beer on tap. I like the Nauset Haze. Oysters are excellent, Im a fan of the mignonette.
