If you want a good bagel and schmear this is your spot! The line moves fast and they have tons of great options. The coffee is decent and the service is 10/10! Back patio is a good spot to enjoy the nice weather and the coffee if you have the need to sit. It’s not the prettiest area but gets the job done!

Pretty darn good bagel. We had some errands to run out in the wellfleet area and decided to stop here for a quick breakfast. We picked up everything bagels … one with garlic herb and the other with jalapeño cheddar. We took them to the beach to enjoy and what a treat they were. Definitely would stop by again. If you are staying out there you can place an order up to 30 days out for pick up. Prices were a bit high but not that bad consider where you are in the Cape.

Delicious bagels slathered with copious amounts of delectable cream cheese. Every single cream cheese I tried was fantastic but my most favorite is the cape berry 🍓 .One more great reason to go there is that the people are warmer than their warmest bagel.

Many people are unaware, but there are two main styles of Bagels. The better-known is NYC-style. The other is Montreal-style, which is what Bagel Hound sells. As a former bagel bakery owner, when my wife brought these home for breakfast, I immediately identified them, and was disappointed. To be clear, I'm not saying one type is inherently superior. That's just down to personal preference. But I do wish that the restaurant had posted a sign/notice somewhere informing that the bagels are Montreal-style.But the biggest issue, by far, is the pricing! They charge more than twice the price of bagels in Boston, NYC, any city really.

I thought I was going to love this place but, nope. Very busy and small space so we got in line and my plan was to get a staple of any bagel place. Bacon, egg and cheese. To my surprise, when I went to place my order the guy at the register said they're premade and they were out of them for the day. Why on earth would a bagel sandwich place have premade bacon egg and cheese sandwiches?! Disappointed, I had to quickly make another choice and got turkey on an everything bagel with avocado and jalapeno bacon cream cheese. Sounds good on paper but it was very bland, had barely any cream cheese and the bagel itself was very small. My GF got chicken salad with bacon and onion. She enjoyed the chicken salad but there wasn't much of it and the bagel was also small and to charge $3 for bacon it should be stuffed with bacon. It was not. It cost us around $22 for two bagel sandwiches, and to top it all off they forgot our order so we waited and waited until I noticed they were beyond our order number. I asked where our order was and they gave it to someone else. So we continued to wait and got our order eventually only to be disappointed.

Holy cow.I have lived in NYC. I believe in nyc bagel supremacy. But these bagels….Crunchy upon the bite, but soft on the inside. I got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. It was amazing. My husband got a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese which they had premade and kept warm near the register. He said that it definitely tasted “kept warm”, but he still gave it an 8/10Highly recommend!! Highly worth it!Note: You do NOT have to pay for it to be toasted like some other reviewers mentioned.

Do NOT get the egg and cheese bagel. It is premade, and comes on a random type of bagel (one of ours was cheese or something), and the eggs were sunny side up or something. Tasted terrible. Call me crazy, but if you're not even going to ask the customer what kind of bagel they want, I was expecting scrambled eggs on a plain bagel. To top it off, the bagels weren't even good. Maybe since the Cape just switched to "off season" they don't have their regular help, but this was ridiculous.

Wow. I held off for a year because I thought no quality could justify these prices. I was wrong. These bagels are supreme. They are on another plane of bagel.I was born in New York City and these bagels compete with the best in the world. Toothsome on the outside, springy but suave on the inside. These bagels are worth their weight in lox.Although the bakery has a big range of cream cheeses, all of which are bonkers good, the general menu is limited, and I would love to see more added to their list of veggies.

These are some pretty mediocre bagels. They’re all bready and spongy and not chewy at all. They don’t even resemble the proper texture of a bagel. They’re definitely not boiled and they’re so much like plain bread that I don’t think they’re even steamed. This is not a bagel, it’s a roll with a hole in the center. I don’t exaggerate when I say you can get a better bagel at the supermarket for less money.

I have been eating these bagels for a few years. They started at a little place in Truro. They were pretty good bagels but as time as evolved, they have turned into amazing bagels. Let me preface. As a kid, I grew up on legit Jewish bagels from Widoff's in Worcester. Turn the clock ahead and I went to every bagel place in Brooklyn on a Bagel Crawl in search of a chewy crusty bagel. Who knew I'd find an excellent version off State Highway in Eastham. Forget the bagels for a minute; the spreads are heaven...my fav is the caper dill whatever the heck it's called. Add a bit of lox and cry a little. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I ordered the everything bagel sandwich with vegan cream cheese and veggies. The bagel was one of the best bagels I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with lots of nuts and seeds. The vegan cream cheese I believe is a house made cashew spread… It was fantastic! This is a very underrated spot at the cape for vegan options!

Great bagels got the Asiago with regular cream cheese and was delicious. Breakfast sandwiches are premade and sit in heater so not very fresh and was hard when got. Wouldn’t recommend sandwhich.

i ordered the turkey club with no cream cheese, but butter instead. i get to the car and notice they accidentally put cream cheese on it so i walked back in told them the problem. then they hand me a everything bagel with just butter, i kindly say again what it was supposed to be. i finally thought it was right, until i realized i did not get the bacon that they charge a arm and a leg for. not going back, sorry.

The absolute best bagels I have ever had and I am super excited to have this bagel shop around. They have a wide selection of bagels, cream cheeses, sometimes breakfast sandwiches, coffee and other beverages to chose from and their customer service is great.Vegetarian options: Speaking as a pescatarian, I have no problems when ordering food at the bagel hound. The majority of their cream cheeses don’t involve any meat products and any time I come here, I have zero concerns about what I will be able to eat.Parking: There is a few parking spaces in the front and parking on the side of the building.Kid-friendliness: They have a great space outdoors for the family to sit down and eat breakfast.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, easy wheelchair accessibility.

Get there early- we arrived before 8 AM & there was already a small line. It’s not very large inside, but their flavors Are big! For those who love strawberry cream cheese, their Capeberry with strawberries, blueberries and cranberries is sure to please. Delicate & flavorful smoked salmon, perfect bagels. Worth a visit!

I love bagels. I’ve eaten a TON of them in my life in the Northeast. This is a GREAT bagel, soft and squishy with that chewy exterior. Schmears are pretty generous. Are they $6 for plain cream cheese on an untoasted pumpernickel everything bagel delicious? Are they $10 for a plain untoasted bagel with vegan cream cheese delicious? I have never paid this much for a bagel with cream cheese… EVER. Anywhere. I don’t get it. It’s flour and water and seeds. After reading other reviews, I sure am glad I ordered it untoasted, or it would have been $2 more, per bagel! And there is no public bathroom, FYI. I really hope the very nice employees make at LEAST $17/hour. Before tips! They were very sweet and deserve a living wage. It can’t be easy telling people how much their delicious bagels cost… :)

Bagels are the best on the cape hands down. Menu board, pricing and ordering system of knowing what line to be in needs tweaking. A better layout of communication is needed to avoid confusion and sticker shock. Although the bagels are great I think that the prices are definitely on the high end of the spectrum.

Terrific bagels at ridiculous prices. One star because I hate to be ripped off. Bagel with cream cheese $7 add TWO DOLLARS to toast! I’m coming from NYC where the prices are cheaper with astronomical rents. Add to that two lines— one inside, one out— with no indication that the outside line is for bagels only, so waited on the one line only to have to go to the other. I hope they go out of business.

These bagels are the best I've had! And the jalapeno bacon smear is very tasty with plenty of spiciness.Their menu board of prices was confusing. Bagels are listed as $2.50 each but we didn't see anything that said to have it toasted was an additional $2.00. Discovered that when we placed our order at the register and it appeared on the screen. There was confusion too about the smear (flavored cream cheese) I think because we wanted it in the 8 ounce container that they sell, rather than have them put it on our toasted bagels. Our order wasn't complicated; 2 toasted bagels, 1 untoasted bagel and an 8 ounce smear. Maybe it was just us, being first time customers, that we missed details on the menu boards.(?)They are certainly busy in the mornings, which affirms that the news of the quality of their product is getting around. This is a welcome addition to Wellfleet in my book for a place to pick up a quick bagel for breakfast or a lunch sandwich. I hope they'll be open a while in the shoulder seasons, if not year round. We'll definitely go back. I need a couple more of their bagels to use up the rest of the smear.

The best bagels, ever the texture is perfect. My only disapointment was the everything bagel, too much sesame for my liking, the salt bagel was perfect not too salty and the pumpernickle was a wow! If you are on the Cape this is a must for breakfast! Can wait to come back and check out other flavors.

First off, the bagels themselves were pretty good, closer to a 4-out-of-5 stars than 3, and definitely the best bagel you can get on the outer cape. But my biggest qualms are the prices and the ordering system.Prices - The bagels are $2 a piece, which isn’t bad. Though lox/salmon is $15 a portion which was maybe enough for 2 bagel sandwiches. The iced coffee was also $7 a cup for what realistically amounted to a medium/small, which felt like a complete ripoff.Ordering system - The main issues with the ordering system was that it was 1) quite finicky, as my party was not able to complete an order on 3 different devices, and 2) the bagel flavors for preorder did not reflect all the available options in the store, which we didn’t know and would have adjusted our order.Overall i want this shop to succeed. I love what the owners did at the Salty Market in Truro, and go there constantly. But I think they need to tweak some things and expand their menu to include breakfast sandwiches before this becomes a cape staple.

I love this place! Fresh bagels, great cream cheese, and very friendly staff. A lot of reviews seem to think the prices are too high - they’re high for a reason! These bagels are delicious, finally we have something other than fried fish and ice cream in Wellfleet.

Get there early before 9am to grab egg and cheese bagel sandwich. I never got chance to grab one. They wouldn’t even make one if they are sold out.
