The groomers here do a nice job, but if you are looking for anything resembling an easy experience, go anywhere else.The owners are inflexible, arrogant, and mean - and do not see us as valued customers. Be forewarned: if you happen to make a mistake and miss your appointment, like we did, they will NOT call to remind you or ask if you are coming - they are perfectly content to let the appointment slip by so they can charge you without doing the grooming, and they don’t seem to care (“Why would we call you? We don’t know your schedule.” “We don’t have time contact you about your appointment.”) They will, however, send you countless emails and call you to make sure your dog’s vaccinations are up to date - and will refuse to give you even a day’s grace period, even when the vet says it’s unnecessary and unreasonable - which also happened to us.Other times, we’ve been asked by them for flexibility in changing our time slot and have accommodated it when able. Yet when we’ve asked the same, it’s been met with complete insensitivity and inflexibility.Since things inevitably go wrong, people do make mistakes, and sometimes people need a little kindness, save yourself the trouble and pick any other groomer.

We love PP! We took our 5 month old puppy here for his first big grooming session and it was GREAT. Kim was so kind and spent so much time with us to find out exactly what we wanted for his cut. She clearly knows so much about dog breeds, but she made sure to ask what was our preference in many particular areas, like for his chin, or brows, etc. etc. She very clearly took time to make sure the experience was wonderful with our puppy, Reggie, so he would be happy and comfortable for future visits.Our after photos don't do justice to how perfectly adorable she made him look, but we LOVE the cut! He is SO soft, fluffy, and perfectly trimmed as we asked. Honestly, Reggie was sad to leave, which is a great sign that he was comfortable and happy in Kim's hands.Also- Kim and Michael were so kind and took a lot of time with us, as Reggie's owners, too. Since it was our first puppy and grooming experience, they were helpful in talking us through the experience. We felt very much heard/seen, and we could trust them based on how they interacted with us and other dogs around us.We would highly recommend Pampered Puppies! We will 100% go back here regularly!

My family just went into the store to stock up on items that were advertised on the website prior to bringing home a new dog. Jessica informed me that they don’t carry the items advertised, the owners’ dogs were barking nonstop and “really stressed out” and Jessica asked us to leave because said dogs were in such distress. The dogs were locked in a room and not being bothered by us but she asked us to leave the store. None of this is terribly reassuring about the quality of training or the care of the staff in the store. I was shocked by how rude she was.

I just rescued my two poodle dogs and had never groomed them before. I saw this place on Google and wanted to try it out. As supporting a small business, I feel as if customers should take the time to write reviews to boost their ratings and share their experience! Here is mine. Very clean, beautiful, open lay out. You can see everything from the little day care area to how they groom the dogs. They have supplies and toys for your dogs too! I loved the two times I have been there. My dogs looked beautiful and smelled great! I would recommend this place to everyone. Very open and honest about pricing, the steps are straight forward and easy on their requirements, and easy to book an appointment online. Will keep coming back.

My puppy loves this place!! They offer daycare, grooming, training, and some very high-quality retail items. I am not kidding when I say William was able to train my untrainable rescue. The owners, Michael and Kim, will absolutely bend over backward to meet your needs. They clearly know dogs and I feel incredibly safe and secure leaving my girl with them for absolutely anything. The Pampered Puppies staff are professional, honest, and kind; I am officially a lifelong customer!

I just picked up dog food and they charged me $2336. Every where it is $16.99. They obviously charge Swellesley prices! I don’t know about grooming but I definitely wouldn’t shop there!

What a delightful place! To begin, the place looks like a SPA! Gorgeous, clean, and zen. The owners are lovely and really. listen to what kind of cut you are looking for. I have a mini golden doodle and feel that she is always cut like a poodle! I show the same picture to each place I go to and even give each place a couple a times to get it right and they never do! Pampered Puppies did it the very first time! They also have a day care option so you can pick up your pooch when it make sense for your schedule. Finally! An excellent groom and they are in WELLESLEY centrally located on Linden! I could not recommend them more!

Was skeptical bringing my dog to a new groomer but the minute I walked in I was pleasantly impressed.The furniture is beautiful and the lobby is very cozy.There are large windows looking into the grooming salon and the daycare very transparent unlike other salons.Michael and his family very welcoming and put my mind at ease.The staff were all polite and assured me my dog was in good hands.I got my dog groomed by Jarred and couldn’t have been more happy with the finished results. I’m one of those picky dog moms you know showing pictures of exactly how I want her done and he did an excellent job.I’ll be glad to comeback and support this family owned business!

Ginger has been at PP for grooming and daycare and I like how open and bright the facility is. Ginger goes once a week for daycare and the booking app is easy to use, less phone calls, and easy to reschedule etc. Everyone is so nice and knows Ginger so we are comfortable that she is in good hands. They did a great job with her cut, nails trimmed, ears plucked, and she smells delicious. Thank you Michael, Kim and Alexis, and all the employees.

I had previously taken my puppy Harvey to a different groomer for his first cut and was displeased with the confusion in price and quality of cleanliness. My mother and I found Pampered Puppies via google and decided to try it out. The owner’s are very friendly as well as the groomers. I very much like that pricing is CLEAR and laid out for you to see and any additional costs are made clear which is a relief because we had a bad experience else where due to the fact that they did unwanted services on my 4 month puppy at the time (including services we did not ask for and didn’t need). Karen bathed my fur baby extremely well and treated him well. We will DEFINITELY be back for all kinds of services, it is such a relief meeting people who you can trust leaving your puppy with. I’d Recommend this place to just about anybody, very professional and CLEAN.

I had a wonderful experience with Pampered Puppies! I brought Newman (90lb Goldendoodle) in to be groomed. We have some anxiety about this because Newman was injured while being groomed at another facility when he was kenneled during grooming. The staff at pampered puppies assured me they wouldn’t be putting him in a cage at all during his stay and that really put my mind at ease. When I picked him up he was beautifully groomed and clearly well taken care of. Thank you Alexis and the whole staff, we will certainly be back for another visit!

To be blunt - this is THE ABSOLUTE BEST puppy grooming facility I've ever encountered. As an out-of-towner, I'm very skeptical sending my dog to any groomer that's unfamiliar to me. Pampered Puppies is great! We have had several sessions of private training and it has made a real difference for our (now 5 month old) puppy. Kevin is amazing with our puppy and we have learned a lot from him. Scheduling on the website is a breeze and the owner Michael is very responsive to any questions. This is our dog’s favorite place outside of our home! She loves the staff and has made so many canine friends. Her tail starts wagging when we pull up, and she sleeps like a baby when she comes home. We love the open concept (all windows) for both day care and grooming. Plus, the pick/up drop off option is a huge convenience. Spotless, professional, great location and easy parking.

I've been with Pampered Puppies for about a year now. The LaRoche family are the founders and incredibly professional and friendly, and communicate well. Pampered Puppies make my life so much easier; they come to the house, pick up the dogs, and take care of them all day. Most importantly, the dogs are happy and relaxed after a fun play day, and often beautifully groomed! Would definitely recommend!

I have taken my two labradoodles several groomers in the Needham and Wellesley area and Kim and her team are by far the best! Kim, Alexis, Michael, Jared and Kevin clearly care for my 4 year old and 1 year old fur balls and are unbelievably accommodating with their individual temperaments.Kevin trained my puppy and the results were amazing! She is very social and knows all her commands that I feel safe with her both on and off leash.Their pick up service, appointment booking online and Apple Pay invoices make it super easy and why I have been a loyal customer since before their BEAUTIFUL new space on Linden Street opened.I encourage you to support this family owned, local business who treats their employees and pups with great respect!

They do a great grooming job. Very thorough. Customer service and consistent pleasantness at front desk is spotty. I was 15 min late for an appointment and owner’s husband was rude. I was fine with relinquishing my appointment however online there were several openings all afternoon. I asked about a later appointment as I had checked in the morning and there were still available slots. He said they had all been booked up. Then his daughter came out and said she could fit me in. Would have been fine either way- just would be nice to be treated in a friendly manner from person greeting people at the front desk. It was my fault I was late and own that.

Jarred did an amazing job grooming my golden doodle, I almost didn't recognize her! I appreciate how patient he was with her and took his time to make sure she looked beautiful!The store is also so clean and beautiful, we felt right at home at Pampered Puppies!

It’s always hard to find a reliable grooming service but pampered puppies really stepped it up. Their team handled my pupper with so much professionalism and patience. You can tell they really love what they do and take the time to ensure quality service. 5/5 would recommend!

I started going to Pampered Puppies since they were grooming at their house primarily because they took pride on taking care of animals and not letting them wait long hours in cages. I took my dog so that they would give her a bath and a cut for her appointment at 2:30pm at their Wellesley, MA location. Two hours passed and we called to check on how much longer it would be and were told that she still had another hour left. On all of the other times she had been there, it took about an hour or two max. When we called to check on her status again, the owner who identified herself as Kim, told us that they were running late. I told her that it was close to closing time and that my youngest daughter was going off to college the next day and I needed to pick up my dog so that we could attend a family dinner I had planned. She then responded by disrespectfully saying “Am I supposed to feel sorry for you?” When I showed up to pick up my dog hours later near closing time, they asked for a tip. Beware of their lack of professionalism. All they needed to do was to apologize for the inconvenience and lack of communication. This shows how poorly they have handled their increase in demand. Think twice before making an appointment with them.

Showed up on time with our two dogs, and the lady taking them at the door seemed overwhelmed. At first, she said we are not in the system. Then after some digging, they said they found us, under a new groomer, and we should come back in over an hour. I get to work, and get a call, that they do not have room for the dogs. My wife gets a text that the appointment has been cancelled. I go back to get the dogs.

Very rude owners they try to put on a good show but when true colors are exposed they become very defensive an rude. They do not think of the animals well being an comfort. Its humanity before vanity. Also they are over priced an treat employees terrible. Just an fyi your groomer does not get the tip you leave for them the owners take 100% of it. Such a shame cause the location an facility are beautiful

Amazing service! We wanted our Bernedoodle to have a short haircut all around. He was not the easiest when it came to his face and eyes but everyone was so patient and kind with him. Thank you! He looks so good, well done!

Hi Michael,I appreciate your quick response to my earlier review but we DID discuss my issues about the cut for about 15 minutes and you seemed concerned enough about the cut and the groomers one hour break while grooming my dog to go and talk to the groomer while I was there. I’m fine with paying for the services rendered today but I wasn’t the only one troubled by today’s events, or at least I didn’t leave with that impression. Also, my appointment was at 930am and I was told a 1.5 hr timeframe. Perhaps you could’ve given me a call anytime between 1100-1245 to let me know status? Because I was there at 1pm at the conclusion of the morning daycare that he never made it to. It would’ve been helpful in shaping my expectations. You all were very nice and I wish you nothing but success. Best, Aimee

Did a great cut on my cat but my cat became L with some sort of cough after spending the day there. Cost over $300 at the bed to get her back to normal.
