Loyal companion, Wellesley is a great store for pet supplies. Bath to give your pet a bath is SO CONVENIENT. I haven't tried grooming yet. Daycare is amazingly fun for my Goldendoodle, Stanley. He loves going to daycare every week. Kevin McDonald, daycare attendant is fun, loving and happy to be with all types of dogs. He has lots of patience and really enjoys his job.I highly recommend Loyal Companion, Wellelsey. Def worth the visit.

My family has been coming to Loyal Companion since we got our pups 2 years ago for all of our toys, food, supplies, and grooming. The store itself is always so nice, clean, and has everything we could ever need. Most importantly though, the people who work there are wonderful, each one of them. They are so caring for all of the animals and their families. One of our dogs is especially anxious, and the groomer, Katie, has taken so much extra time to make her feel comfortable, and now she rolls over and shows Katie her belly every time she sees her. We couldn’t recommend Loyal Companion enough. Go go go!

Highly recommend this location! The staff are all incredibly nice, and they have a great variety of toys and products. We also did a puppy class which was excellent, and the grooming has been equally phenomenal!!!! We have a labradoodle, and the grooming looked amazing!

Great store, well-stocked and organized, very friendly and helpful staff. I come here once a month for dog food and treats. I like going in person to see what new fun things they have. My dog likes going too, she's always welcome there.

I feel badly for the staff in this store. They are fantastic, but the store is routinely understaffed and not provided with the supplies the staff needs to provide the services advertised by the store. Today, I went in to use self-wash. I called ahead and was told that the self-wash tubs needed to be cleaned (there was only one person manning the store) and that she would appreciate if I could wait 20 minutes before showing up. When I got there 20 minutes later, there was a line for the self-wash tubs. Understandable (circumstances change), but rough on an employee who had to wash the tubs between uses and was also serving customers at the register. What caused me to give up and head home was the lack of towels. The service is advertised as " . . . stocked with free shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers and fluffy towels - everything you need to pamper your pooch." As usual, there were very few towels, which were being rationed. In the past, I have showed up at the end of the day and brought my own towels as backup. Because I was there in the morning, I didn't bring my own. It was an all-around bad experience. Again, I do want to stress that the staff is great.

Loyal Companion is awesome! It's a one stop shop for all my dogs needs. The store has a great selection of healthy food and treats and my pup loves it when I surprise her with a special toy. My pup also loves going to the daycare. The daycare manager, Gayle is so attentive to my dogs needs and finds fun and creative ways to keep the dogs engaged and busy all day. She even provides a visit report card!

Loyal Companion in Wellesley is awesome! This is the best pet store I have ever been to. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone who works there is so friendly, knowledgeable, and their love of pets really shines through. We also take our puppy Louie to daycare there and Kevin who runs the day care program is absolutely fantastic! Kevin makes sure the dogs are all safe and having a great time. The facilities are spotless and well cared for. I can’t imagine leaving Louie with anyone else. Thank you Kevin, Taylor, and the rest of the staff for taking such good care of Louie.

I absolutely love this store! I have been to the Shrewsbury location, which is also nice, but the customer service, knowledgeable staff, and welcoming atmosphere are unmatched at the Wellesley location. I brought my family dog (Bichon Frise) in for a groom about 6 months ago and won’t be going anywhere else! The groomer, Katie, did a phenomenal job taking care of our relatively high-maintenance dog, and the Assistant Manager, Taylor, orchestrated everything effortlessly, turned me onto a new, better type of food for our dog, and had a tremendous attitude and knowledge. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Loyal Companion in Wellesley is one of my pup's favorite new places. The store is in a fantastic location - easy to pop in and park and a sweet neighborhood to stroll in when my pet visits with me. Taylor, Rick and Kevin consistently help me find the things my sensitive little Yorkie will like - treats, dental care, cute outfits, and fun toys. They carry very high quality pet foods - including our favorite - the 'Open Farm' brand. The store is always very clean with no pet odors which is amazing given how many dogs are in and out. My pup is scared of nail clipping, and Katie, the groomer, was patient, gentle and sweet with her while giving her a much needed mani & pedi. The staff is very well educated, know their products and are great at making just the right recommendations. Thank you for making the little one feel so welcome during her regular visits to browse for new things. It's clear each and every pet and it's owner(s) are treated with a warm welcome and professional service! 🐾🙏🏻😊

She is knowledgable and has fantastic advice on how to bring out the best in every dog. Working with Maria has helped us better understand our puppy and how she learns. I have a 4 year old mini Australian shepherd and was always reluctant in sending him to the groomer, then I walked into loyal companion in Wellesley and met Katie and instantly knew she was the groomer I’ve been looking for. I had Dax groomed by Katie and when I came to pick him up he looked fantastic and was so relaxed! It was a success. thank you Katie and loyal companion!

I highly commend Loyal Companion in Wellesley, MA. The staff is amazing and the store is immaculate. My groomer's name is Olivia and I have an 18-year-old blind Shih Tzu, Lucy. Due to Lucy's age and blindness, she requires a very patient and caring groomer. Aside from the excellent work Olivia does, I truly know she cares for Lucy and when I drop her off I know she's in excellent hands. I actually met Olivia at my previous groomer and when I found out that she had left, I was devastated. So, I began the search in locating Olivia for about 10 months and found her at Companion. Aside from taking great care of Lucy, Olivia is an excellent groomer. In fact, I drive to Wellesley from the South Shore every 6 weeks and it's worth every mile! Thank you, Olivia and all the staff at Loyal Companion!

Dog training classes with Maria have been a great experience for me and my dog. Maria is an excellent teacher, the class size is small so every dog gets attention, and all of the info and practice is super effective. The space the classes are held in is also great.

I was booked for a grooming appointment when unfortunately the groomer was out sick, which of course happens. However no one bothered to call me to tell me, so after driving 30 minutes to get to my appointment I was turned away. I wasted an hour of my time and the person working in the store that day couldn't even be bothered to offer to help find a new appointment.

When your dog trusts people, you can trust them yourselves is the saying. My dog not only trusts them at Loyal but he is a big fan of the whole crew over here. I admit he's not a big fan of the nail-clipping but is a fan of the groomer. Prices are on par but the team (and especially Taylor) are the drivers of success! Our dog knows the route by head (5 blocks and a junction away) to the Loyal and so do we.

Loyal in Wellesley is amazing! The staff are all very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and incredibly kind! Our dog Milo attends the daycare program and we have also used their grooming services. Kevin, who runs the daycare program, is absolutely amazing! He is so terrific with Milo and all the other dogs in daycare! He takes amazing care of Milo making sure he is safe, having fun, and feeling loved!. Kevin is so knowledgable about animal behavior and so incredibly gentle, kind, and loving! We couldn't be happier with our experience with Loyal Companion, in general, and Kevin in particular! We are also exceptionally happy with the groomer who Milo just adores! I think Milo loves Kevin and everyone else who works there more than us!

Katie of Loyal Companion has been grooming our two, beloved dogs, both Coton du Tulears, for years. Katie offers her skillful capabilities along with her genuine care in attending to their grooming needs, always supporting their comfortability and adjustment to each appointment visit. One of our “pups” is typically anxious at the outset, and Katie’s manner supports his calming down every time. We so appreciate Katie along with the Loyal Companion Wellesley facility.
