For nearly two decades, Dr. Pinsky has been the veterinarian to my five pets. I first met her at Framingham Animal Hospital, and when she came to Wayland Animal Clinic, I followed her. She's been a caring and thoughtful vet to each of my pets over the years, making time to see them when needed. When a cat of mine needed to see a specialist, Dr. Pinsky kindly came to the appointment with us to better understand my cat's condition. She's gone above and beyond with individual care and exemplary service. I can't recommend her and Wayland Animal Clinic enough!

I do NOT recommend bringing rabbits here. I have brought my rabbit to this vet for several years and when I first noticed my rabbit had a teary eye (late 2021/early 2022), I called and was told it was normal due to his old age (he was 7 yrs old at the time). I called two more times when the teariness started happening in both eyes (~early 2022) and when his left cheek went in more than the other (facial asymmetry, mid 2022). I was once again told it was due to old age and possibly a stroke causing facial paralysis. Between these calls, I was never offered an appointment for my rabbit to check up on him or run tests. When he was brought in for his yearly checkups, the doctor reassured us his condition was normal and all they did was shave some of the fur affected by the teariness. I don’t understand how this could’ve gone over this vet’s head as the first result when you google these symptoms is an ear infection. If you make money off of testing him, I don’t understand why we were never offered an appointment. Unfortunately, my rabbit’s symptoms progressed and he experienced balancing issues (continuously leaned to the left, started falling/rolling over, could not walk straight, March 2022). My family called here and was told to watch his symptoms and if it worsened, he should brought to an animal emergency room. His symptoms obviously worsened and he was diagnosed with an ear infection in his left ear at the ER and developed a head tilt within the next hours of this visit. After receiving medication from the ER and a NEW vet who knew what they were doing, my rabbit seemed to be doing better, but unfortunately my rabbit had to be put down 6 months later (mid August 2023) as he did not respond to medication since his ear infection was left untreated for too long (for almost two years due to this vet’s misdiagnosis!) and quickly deteriorated one day due to vestibular disease caused by the ear infection. No amount of treatment could ensure a decent quality of life. I find it unbelievable they could not recognize symptoms of something as simple as an ear infection. I will never let a vet convince me my pet is fine when my gut tells me otherwise and I will forever avoid this vet after this horrendous experience that left my angel suffering for too long.

You and your pet are in excellent hands at Wayland Animal Clinic. Dr. Pinsky went out of her way to save my dog's eyesight when she had acute glaucoma, fitting us into an emergency appointment on a busy Saturday. Dr. Boardman did an excellent job on a tooth extraction on our now senior dog. These vets are among the best trained in the country while at the same time being compassionate, approachable, and very good listeners. The WAC is great too!Postscript: We had to euthanize my dear old companion Ziva at age 12 last week due to inoperable cancer. A friend said, “Dogs give us thousands of the best moments in our lives and one of the worst.” WAC let us do it in the private backyard of the clinic, which is in a converted house, on a blanket on the grass. It felt like home. They gave us all the time we needed to be with her, and she was so happy to be with us outside together on a sunny day with birds chirping and the sounds of kids playing off in the distance. They were so comforting and patient with us, and Ziva slipped away gently and peacefully with her head resting in my hands. As a longtime client, I was so grateful and surprised that they didn’t even charge us. This was a moment I dreaded for many years, but I can’t imagine it being performed more sensitively and compassionately by anyone anywhere else. The benefit of having a sustained relationship with WAC became crystal clear to me. May this independently owned and operated veterinary clinic continue to help animals and their human families for many years ahead.

I'm so glad I found the Wayland Animal Clinic. From the receptionists, to the vet techs, to the veterinarians, everyone there is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and professional. The clinic is clean and inviting and accommodating. Making appointments is easy, vaccination prices are reasonable, and they don't try to sell you anything your pets don't really need. My dog Sunny has been a patient at Wayland Animal Clinic for a few years now. My neighbors have had at least two cats there. They referred me to Wayland. I have had good experience there over time. As a Beagle, Sunny has frequent ear infections. But, with the good care Sunny receives at Wayland, his ear infections resolve.

WAC is simply wonderful. So accommodating when there is an emergency. Everyone there is kind and compassionate, and many of them have worked there for a very long time, which says a lot. My daughter did a summer internship there while in high school and the docs and staff were eager to teach her all that they could. She was able to watch surgeries, which was incredible. I could go on and on..... Yes. FIVE GOLD STARS!

Dr Pinzky and her associates at Wayland Animalclinic has been taking care of my pets for over a decade. She always helped me to chose the best care possible and was always very considerate about mine and my pets needs. She was and is very helpful. Sam is very kind and all the front desk staff is always very courteous. I used to live in Framingham so it was about 10-15 minutes away. Dr. Pinsky and all the staff at WAC have been amazing since getting our puppy in the summer of 2020. Despite the increased demand for vet services, they ran a seamless operation and took care of our pup during two minor medical issues. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a veterinarian in the metro west area.

I’ve been taking my 2 1/2 year old cockapoo to Wayland Animal Clinic since he was a little puppy and we are very happy with the service we’ve received. All vets and technicians are knowledgeable and communicate very well. The front desk assistants are amazing. My puppy has been pretty healthy but had some vomiting x 3 due to plant ingestions, some ear infections x 2 and allergies x 2. The treatments were great. Great experience!

I love all the doctors there because they truly love and care for all animals. They are great with my two cats whom are extremely scared when they go to the vet. I feel as though they are very understanding and explain what is going on in a way that you can understand and are intent on helping pets In the best way possible.

The desk staff who answered my concerns and schedule appointment for my dog to see doctor was genuinely helpful. Our vet and assistant were very good to my dog who is a fear aggression dog. They knew exactly how to handle him and did not even need a muzzle on him. My dog is well now after the prescribed meds. I would rate my visit 10/10. Cost was reasonable. Would recommend my friends to this clinic.

Wayland Animal clinic is very caring with our dogs, and have a reputation for being knowledgeable. They take the time to answer any questions we have. You need to book regular things (vaccinations & checkups) a long time in advance, but they have always been able to handle an emergency the day that we call. Pricey but worth it!

The staff is caring and kind. They make sure you have all the info you need to make decisions foe your pet. The clinic is located in a small building and is small and always clean. The wait can sometimes be longer than I'd like but for urgent care I can usually get in.

We travel 35 minutes to go to Wayland Animal Clinic with our dog. After years of going there with my childhood pets, I couldn’t imagine going elsewhere once I moved and adopted my own pup. The vets and vet techs are compassionate and experienced. They cater to each individual animal’s personality - think husky anxiety! We’ve been through it all with them and would recommend them to anyone looking.

I feel compelled to write a “review” not just for Wayland Animal Clinic but for all pet care facilities. I know with Covid it has been difficult all around with pet owners not being able to accompany their pets indoors for appointments. Guess what? This is a situation that NO ONE likes! It’s about protocol and keeping us all as safe as we can. Our animal caretakers, veterinarians, technicians, and office personnel need to be only concerned with the most important task at hand. That would be making sure our animals are given the best care possible. It will get better I just know.

We haven’t been going here very long but when our 16 yr old Husky was diagnosed with cancer they were wonderfully supportive and sensitive. Dr.Sullivan came out side to speak with us (at a safe distance) instead of just doing a phone call. We really appreciated the face to face and all the great advice she gave us. My elderly dog has extremely bad hips and it is difficult for her to get in or out of my SUV, she was coming in for shots only and the technician, Calvin, came curb side to the car and gave her shots while she sat in the car. Calvin was extremely professional and so nice to work with. A joy to work with Wayland Animal Clinic.

Absolutely love this vets office. They are kind caring, and clearly love all the animals that walk through the door. My dog LOVES going to the vet.... I thought. Until I brought him for an ortho consult elsewhere he acted so very different there then he does at WAC. As soon as we pull in the parking lot his tail is wagging, and he is doing a happy dance. He is always greeted by name with lots of love, and affection. To see the difference in him when we walked into the other animal hospital only made me appreciate their services even more. Thank you for all that you do!!
