This is a horrible Pharmacy twice. I’ve been given other peoples prescription inside of a bag that has my name but the bottle inside is someone else’s if I would’ve took this medication I could’ve died. My doctor said I’ve left the store manager three messages and the manager has not called me back, I speak with the pharmacist there and they are rude, ignorant and don’t care they get angry that I question them on their error. My advice don’t have your prescriptions filled there. They have closed so many CVS that are actually good with wonderful pharmacist but they leave this pharmacy that is constantly doing errors. I can imagine how many elderly patients have taken wrong meds because of this pharmacy.

I wrote a review years ago about how terrible this pharmacy is, in addition to tons of other people. How has nothing changed? How can upper management see these reviews and just do nothing. The techs are fantastic the pharmacists are all SO RUDE. Expect issues, expect them to never answer the phone, expect prescriptions that were supposed to be ready to not be, expect to leave with anxiety and a headache. I will never understand how this is acceptable.

THE WORST PHARMACY EVERSeriously. Every time I come here, there is a crazy line for the pharmacy. It will take literally hours to get your medication. This line isn’t even an anomaly. This happens every time I’m here. I’m definitely switching to a different one, this one is inept. It’s so inept that I could write 100 bad reviews while in this 20+ person line. It won’t let me give 0 stars, but I would if I could.

Add me to the overwhelming number of 1 star reviews for this CVS. If you have a choice, go elsewhere. You'll thank me later.Initiated call to check on prescription at 10:45 am - not a particularly busy time - and finally hung up after 2 hrs & 49 minutes when I'm sure they rushed out for lunch break. The bad news .. I ran down my phone battery a bit. The good news .. I had plenty of time to cancel and replace supplemental CVS/Caremark/Aetna drug policy and move prescriptions to a decent pharmacy. Win-win!

Slowest most nonchalant pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with . Your prescription is never ready and it’s always 20 more minutes. Sitting here now . Been waiting over an hour. It’s not busy at all.

First, I changed to this CVS so I could use the drive-thru to avoid exposure to illness indoors, though the pharmacy closed earlier than most. Within a week, they were closing at 7 PM - when they don’t even open until 9 AM! These are the worst hours of any CVS in a many year history of CVS use in multiple states! The people operating the drive thru have been rude, and acted frustrated (at the start so it had nothing to do with me). Like many, I work full time and with traffic and the delay in processing my prescriptions, this place closed before an important antibiotic could be picked up.Second, the pharmacy is the most disorganized, messy place I have ever seen - despite more people working in it than I have seen before! It is pure chaos! It takes much longer for prescriptions to be processed here than any other CVS or Walgreens.I will not only be looking for a different pharmacy - I’m going to try to go back to Walgreen’s.

Would give them a 0 stars for the pharmacy only other CVS staff are actually helpful and friendly but pharmacy they could careless if you NEED a prescription they will have you wait and wait and then say well we close at 7 even though they're the ones making you wait. Staff is never friendly or helpful very dismissive. Wouldn't recommend getting prescriptions from this pharmacy

Every time my children are in need of a prescription when they are sick. They never attempt fill the order until 8 hours after the order gets in. Today an 9am order was placed. I go at 4:30. Not filledSays it will be ready in an hour. I give them 2hoursI show up and they then tell me they don’t even have it in stock and my 1 year old is approaching ear infection land. Also their drive thru intercom sucks

I received a tex message stating that my medication was ready. Next day I show up, and the pharmacist spent 10 minutes looking for it to finally finding it under a pile. After paying, as I was leaving, the cashier who has nothing to do with the pharmacy ran towards me, and told me not to come back there anymore. I just looked at him and laughed. I reported his behavior to the CVS headquarter.

Do not bother buying any nail kits at this CVS. The brush is garbage and it was a resale that they put back on the isle. I’m annoyed because when I went to return it due to the defective nature of the product (after calling and being told it was fine) I was treated like a second class citizen. Did I mention my entire family goes there multiple times a week and they spend a lot in their store but it doesn’t matter they treat you like a pos and like they can’t be bothered with you. Corporate doesn’t care either. As far as I’m concerned I should’ve burnt the $23 I spent on the nails. If you want to be treated horribly by people who don’t even hide their hate for everyone go here. Sometimes they won’t even address ppl in English so I’m thankful my first language is Spanish. The problem there is they get angry because now there is no excuse for them to not help.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this is truly the worst CVS you might ever visit. The staff who help at the self-checkout are typically lovely. However, the store itself always a mess. But it’s really the pharmacy that is the biggest disappointment. The staff are rude and unhelpful, always appear overwhelmed, never timely and typically have almost zero patience for questions. And you will never not stand in a line of at least 5 people. But the worst part? It’s absolutely filthy. I would be surprised if they’ve wiped down a counter or vacuumed the pharmacy once this whole year. I recently transferred my prescriptions to the CVS in Wayland and it’s like moving from a roach infested studio apartment to a brand new penthouse condo.

This is the worst cvs I’ve ever been to. I would give 0 stars if I could. The pharmacy NEVER has the prescriptions ready on time. Today they did not have it ready as usual and said to come back after 30 minutes. When I came back, they were closed for an hour and half!!! I had to take 3 trips to finally get my prescription!!! If you can just avoid this pharmacy.

Like many of the reviews below, I’d give this place 0 stars if I could. It’s notoriously the worst CVS I’ve ever been to in my life. I moved closer to this CVS so I decided to switch. They’re incredibly understaffed- the lines are atrocious 24/7. I’ve never had an issue with my PCP calling in my medication to a CVS- I received a notification that it was ready and yet it’s nowhere to be found causing more line delays. The south Asian pharmacist is incredibly rude- I’ve explained to her multiple times my physician called the prescription in and she like an automated voice message kept saying it’s not here you need a prescription. I’m like lady every other CVS takes a called in prescription. I asked her what to do and again, automated message. I got my doctor on the phone and she refused to speak to them and just ignored me so I left. I’m now on my way to 12 Harvard street- they may be busy but their service is 10 times better.

it doesn't matter when your doctor calls in a Rx, this pharmacy won't fill it until you show up! It's been 2 days since my routine Rx was called in, it's in their system, now after waiting in line they tell me they "haven't started it yet". this is clearly a policy, it's happening every time. will be switching pharmacies

These are the WORST and most RUDE pharmacy workers I have ever encountered in my life, especially the blonde elderly woman Soraya. Every single time I come here to get my medication, there's ALWAYS a problem, and the staff won't hesitate to snap at you, yell at you, and get personal with their insults!! Don't come here, ever.

This place is the worst got my teeth pulled came over to the pharmacy and dropped off my prescription the guy said 2 hours and not even 5 minutes later I get a text saying it’s ready. I go to pick it up only to have a rude Asian women at the drive through say they are closed for a half hour even though they helped the person in front of me. Why text me and say the order is ready when They are actually closed instead of helping someone this lady decided it’s not her problem taken 2 minutes out of her day seems to be to much anyways here I wait at the drive through until they decide to open. If you need anything please go somewhere else as the service here is terrible

The laziest pharmacy staff I have ever seen or dealt with in my life. You can't speak with anyone on the phone without waiting on hold for at least 30 minutes.I had a woman pick up and ask me to wait one moment. She put the phone down on the counter and completely forgot about it. I sat on the phone and listened to them chat and pour pills in bottles for 15 minutes before hanging up and starting over on hold again. If you go into the pharmacy to pick up a prescription the line is almost always 10 people deep and they refuse to put an employee on the 2nd register for a few minutes to get through the line of customers building up.The best part is that while you are waiting in line you can hear the phone notification in the pharmacy telling them there are multiple calls on hold. They just stand there and continue pouring pills in bottles, walking around, and talking. I've waited 15 minutes in line for a pickup and seen the staff ignore the phone the entire time I was there. These people move with zero urgency and don't care how long customers have to wait because they get paid by the hour, not per customer. No big deal though, right? It's not like some of these customers need these pills to live or anything.A street level drug dealer has better customer service skills and is more reliable than the staff here.Do yourself a favor and choose literally any other pharmacy you can find and avoid this place at all costs.

Worst service ever in a pharmacy. High school kids could do a better job. Unfortunately I live 50 feet away from it so I force myself to get snacks there while I get started at by there strange employees..

I am so upset with the pharmacy portion of CVS at this location. I have been on hold almost 2 hours and my hubby, and hour and a half. I must speak with a real person, and we have a car and the app doesn't have my answer. If I didn't live the next town over, and wasn't sick, I'd already be there. They really need to start answering their phones. I've been in line at times and hear the lines saying "one caller... Two callers... Three callers, and no one will pick up for a while. It's RUDE. I know most are probably regular questions, and sometimes it's people upset... But there are REASONS sometimes, and as a former associate I KNOW it's exhaustive, but you KNEW that when you went back there. Not all stores are THIS bad.. but this is the closest by Uber $20.00 each way is already too much. PLEASE answer the phones!!

Should have read the other reviews first. This location has gone downhill real fast. Long lines are just the start. I had a routine refill, they had a question for my physician, no matter whether I called or the doctors office nothing happened at CVS. Finally I get through to someone, they say they'll fill it, then nothing happens. Finally I get an automated system message that the script isn't available to refill. What a joke.

This place has gone down hill in the last year. They regularly take days to fill prescriptions (new and refill). They often are completely out of prescriptions that other pharmacies have in stock. If you try and call in and speak to someone, they often don't pickup the phone.I'm transitioning my family's scripts to other pharmacies in the area.

Ever wonder what the letters in CVS stand for? Well if you are a customer of this one it must "Customers' Veritable Sh!tshow" as this is THE WORST pharmacy you will ever visit. In fact PLEASE do not allow them to fill your scripts unless you like waiting in line for 45 minutes only to be told the script that was requested a week ago was not filled, and it is not because they are out of the pills, but they just havent got to it and they "Can't say when they will get to it". Longtime customers that need pills that can result in a heart attack if you miss a dose should not be treated like utter garbage by the staff. Costco will be our pharmacy for everything from this day forward.

I always have problems at this CVS. Like other reviews mentioned, the pharmacy is awful and the line is always so long. They took forever to ship my mother's prescription, so she went there and got in the pickup line. The woman found her unshipped prescription and then instead of letting her pick it up, she canceled it and had her get in line. I ordered a big framed photo for my dad. Came in to pick it up and was told they were out of frames. She offered me a photo panel and then charged me the price of the framed photo despite the panel being cheaper. The photo wasn't even glued on straight so I ended up returning it. If the nearest Walgreens wasn't 10-15 minutes further I'd go there instead. They are also supposed to be open until midnight (like the sign outside the store says), yet one time I got told I had like 5 minutes until closing when I walked in around 9:30 or 10pm

Wish I could leave a zero star. Worst pharmacy ever! They used to be ok. For the past 6 months they have missed my prescription refills multiple times. I had to miss medications for days each time despite having a chronic health condition. Their pharmacy phone line is a joke. You got to stay on line hours to have one kindly taking your call. Drive thru is another joke. STAY AWAY.

I’ve been going to this pharmacy for 3 years and have yet to have a good experience. The last week I’ve been working to transfer my prescriptions to a different CVS location as I had moved. I was almost out of a very time-sensitive prescription but could not get in touch with the Waltham location in order to transfer my medicine to my new pharmacy. I was waiting on the phone for 40+ minutes each time I called- even right when the pharmacy opened in the am. My new pharmacist down here was also on hold (she said for up to an hour) and was never able to get in touch with staff. It took calling the front of the store and begging the woman working to literally walk over the pharmacy to relay to them what I needed. Ridiculous!

Worst CVS Pharmacy experience I have ever had. If you have a chronic illness and rely on medication that is time sensitive I would highly suggest you go elsewhere. The staff is rude and disrespectful. They blame their own incompetency and laziness on my Dr. and insurance company. I called both my insurance and my clinic to try and resolve. They both confirmed the issue was with the pharmacy. I had no recourse but to walk away empty handed without my medication.

If I could give this CVS -0 stars I would. They have been a dumpster fire for years. As of right now, I have been on hold with them for an hour and 12 minutes. They have a high turnover rate with their pharmacists which makes the experience awful.I'd rather wait at the DMV than wait in line for this CVS.I live locally and it's the pharmacy closest to where I live.Something needs to be done because at this point it's ridiculous.Additionally, they have closed their drive thru window which makes the wait time to pick up your prescription is always ludacris. They are dealing with sick people who need their medicine and this pharmacy ain't it.Do better!!!

Avoid this pharmacy at all cost. Pharmacy department is so short staffed 2-3 working there. Drive through is closed. Staff does not pick up the phone to let you know if meds are ready. The app notifications don't work well or not accurate. You have to go inside wait 45 minutes to be told if medications ready then another 45 minutes and then another 45, before saying coming back tomorrow. I recommend changing your prescriptions to another better served pharmacy. @cvspharmacy

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Every single prescription is a run around with this place. Do not go here!!! They have been saying they are short-staffed, which I’m absolutely sympathetic about, but not when it is for 6+ months.I called this morning and waited a full hour and hung up bc I could t wait any longer. Then I called back hours later, waited 30 mins, and said they couldn’t fill my prescription bc their system wasn’t working and they couldn’t figure out what to do. Then the person hung up on me.This above situation is very typical. Every single prescription refill is an adventure where I’d rather gouge my eyes out rather than deal with these people.Do. Not. Go. Here. Whatever you do. Just don’t do it.

Update - I wish I could take away my 1 star as not only is my original reveiw found below a serious issue, but the pharmasists can be extremely rude and condescending. Im sorry I dont work in healthcare and might not understand how prior authorizations work or the finer details of health insurance. That doesn't mean you should treat me like an idiot. Cvs corporate or someone needs to step in and fix this stores culture.Original reveiw:Absolutely the worst cvs pharmacy. The staff is overworked and probably underpaid they don't bother to answer the phones so the customer has to be inconvenienced by going there and standing in a line that is regularly to the entrance of the building to get a simple answer to weather or not your prescription is even in stock. Clearly cvs as a company does not care about its employees or customers and its only goal is to milk the health care industry for every cent it can. I don't know how they are still operating with such a disregard for people in general.
