The Village Groomer is incredible! I recently moved to the area and was concerned about finding a groomer as my dog is groomed every five weeks. Anne did a great job grooming my dog and she looks fantastic! Alex was so nice and I loved watching her greet all the dogs this morning. What really impressed me was how happy the dogs were when they arrived; they were literally jumping for joy! Thanks also to the Owner Missy who was so kind, helpful, and her love of animals is palpable. Highly recommend The Village Groomer not only for the great job they do grooming your dog but also the loving & family environment.

I bring my dog in every month for nail trims and to pick up bully sticks, treats, etc. They have him trimmed beautifully in less time then it takes me to pay. They know him by name and shower him with love and kisses every time he's in the store. He gets excited to get his pedicure. The people at this shop truly care about your animal's well being and making the experience positive. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog and feel so lucky to have this shop local.

My grandparents called for their little shih tzu mix Angelina. They immediately denied her, rudely saying they do not accept dogs like that. Nowhere on the website does it say only certain dogs are allowed. I didn't expect a business who claims to love all dogs to be discriminatory against any. Angelina is very sweet and loves people. We will be bringing our business to somewhere with kind, truly dog-loving staff.

I'm sad to be moving from the area because The Village Groomer was the best place I've taken my Jack Russell Terrier. They always did a great job in balancing getting her hair shorter but keeping some of that wirey look I find adorable (I'm obv biased). Pricing is very reasonable and can't recommend this place highly enough.

The Village Groomer takes such good care of our pupper. She's an ole lady now, and has been going to VG for 15+ years. Missi and her staff obviously care deeply about furry family members. And Anne and Kat keeps our OES looking her very best.

We brought our Pomeranian here after another groomer had shaved her way too short for any Pomeranian to be shaved. We’re so glad we brought her here so they could straighten out what the other groomer had done. Our dog looks amazing and we’ll definitely be going back. We couldn’t be happier with the village groomer and can’t thank them enough for doing such a great job

Excellent first experience. We have a border collie/Aussie mix who HATES having her paws touched, let alone clipped. These folks handled her perfectly -- the owner kept her calm and distracted while the groomer quickly did the work. Very nice shop and nice people. I will definitely be back for the next time.

We come in here regularly now for the walk-in nail trimmings. Our 8lb Chihuahua may be small but has always proven super difficult for trimmings at other groomers.Village groomer team legitimately gets all her nails in about two minutes. In and out super quick, no fuss, and plenty of treats to buy as a reward. We have been coming in for the past 5 months now and will continue to do so going forward.

This is the best dog grooming place in the area, hands-down. The staff is incredibly respectful, friendly, and they do an amazing job! Their retail store is great, and it's rare when I don't leave the store without picking up a treat or a toy for our family dog. The prices are fair and it's in a convenient location right off of the main road!

They are very kind and super efficient here. Other places I have taken to get my dog's nails done have taken a while but here they're done super quickly which I'm sure my dog appreciates. Definitely will be going here on a regular basis! They also have a good selection of pet products like leashes, toys, food and treats.

I have brought my husky to many groomers over his 14 years. Some seemed nice to me, but he would pull his collar off to avoid going back a second time. I finally found Village Groomer. We've been going there for years now and my dog happily goes on in, and comes out happier! Very friendly staff where their smile comes through phone on their courtesy reminder calls.

I am so glad that I started taking my dog Merry here for grooming. Everyone who works here is super nice and Merry loves it there too! We just brought her there on Thursday and used their day care service so she could play with the other dogs while she was there. She came home exhausted and they told us she did great playing! I plan to bring Merry here for a long time.

The best groomer and overall pet facility in the area. The entire staff here is amazing and will come to know you very well. They take wonderful care of our dog and he really loves going there. He always looks great after grooming. They have a good selection of quality food, treats, toys and supplies. You can trust any of the products they sell.

You will not find a more professional and compassionate staff, and owner, at any other grooming / pet retail business in the nearby area. The owner and staff take pride in their work, care of their customers and care for their community. I know this because I have been a customer for 18+ years and my "babies" are always given the best care possible. I am happy to share my experiences from over and though the years, with anyone.

Village Groomers is The Best!!! So grateful to Missy, Kathy (groomer) and Christopher (front desk) for your kindness to Mr. Murphy. He looks like a million bucks, seems to know it too! He came through the experience stress free (no anxiety induced seizures) thanks to all of you and especially Kathy's patience and understanding of an old dog (12) with quirks, weak legs and a lot of anxiety. Thank you, thank you. I've been trying to groom him myself for years now and he looked it. He is so handsome now thanks to Kathy's spaniel expertise. I have only brought my beagle to Village Groomers to nail trims as she doesn't need other grooming. However if I was unable to bathe her, she'd be there for a bath too. The staff always do an excellent job even with her difficult dew claws. I go every couple of months on various days. I have NEVER heard any raised voices or shouting. I have never been pressured to get additional grooming or to purchase food or treats.I have seen the staff interacting with pet owners and pets with grooming and food/treats questions and comments. They have always been very professional and responsive. Once a pet owner expressed a concern about vet care to Missi the owner while I was there, Missi listened to the concerns then went to the vet next store. Missi introduced the owner to the vet then let them discuss possible care for the pet. The interaction was very comfortable without pressure to change vet care. Missi and her staff clearly only want what's best for the pets.I read the 1 star review about discontinuing cat grooming. Missi has been upfront with clients or potential clients with her Facebook posts about reopening after the state-mandated closure for COVID-19. Missi clearly stated the required changes to her business to follow state mandates. She explained clearly that there was no SAFE way to handle cat grooming. Missi obviously put the safety of her staff, her clients, and their cats ahead of the income her business gets from cat grooming. How sad that the person who left the review couldn't see that.

We trusted our beloved Fenway with the Village Groomer for many years. Fenway hated being groomed, but it had to be done. They were always happy to see her, they called as soon as she was done. These wonderful people are animal lovers, dog lovers, just all-around really good people. If we get another dog, there’s no where else I would take them to be loved and cared for. Everyone at the village groomer has a heart of gold.

I absolutely love this place! Nice and local so that my cat is not too stressed out in the car, the grooming service there is amazing, and the staff is the friendliest you will ever find! I definitely recommend; I love them!!!

I do not normally post reviews, because who really has time for it? But I was compelled to write one after experiencing Missy and the rest of her outstanding staff at The Village Groomer. I have a 13 year old dog, and was having trouble finding a groomer. Petsmart and Petco refused to give him a bath or any type of service since he has some parts of his skin that have little sores due to his age (I think that was a bit discriminatory, as the poor old guy can't help it, btw). The next groomer we had was fine, but eventually they also said they couldn't help him anymore because he had to sit down from his aching hips after a bit and there was nothing to be done about it. Enter The Village Groomer. Wow. After explaining my predicament over the phone, they said of course they would try. And they did. When we walked in, Milton (my dog) was nervous and shaking, and Missy (owner) came out of nowhere to greet him and pet him, she made me feel immediately comfortable just by her demeanor. Milton was then handed off to another person who was also lovely, and she pet him and consoled him as he laid down to wait his turn. I think it is important to note here, that I actually left the shop and came back to ask a question, and there were 3 groomers literally surrounding him, letting him know he was okay. When I came back later to pick him up, he was a different dog. I know that sounds cheesy and crazy, but Milton usually barks and whines when he hears my voice, and cannot WAIT to leave the place, but this was not the case. He came out like he felt he was a million bucks, wagging his tail-just plain happy. It was like they took the hair and the years off of him! Though they had to bring his hair really short (he was super matted and long), he looked fantastic and smelled great--not to mention very soft! Missy gave him a treat on the spot, which he ate--another note--Milton NEVER, I mean NEVER eats treats unless at home, he just can't wait to get back, because I suppose he's just not ever been comfortable at a groomer. But he stopped(!) and we could not leave until he got all the crumbs off the floor. I was- and still am- literally blown away. I have to say I feel terrible all those times I took him to places where he was not happy (obvious now)! But now we are looking forward to having a place where they truly are animal lovers and very very good groomers at that! Thank you Missy and all of your staff!!! See you in a few weeks!!

We brought our mini doxie (Zoe) in Saturday. My wife is always nervouse every time we bring our little girl to the groomer... well there is no reason to be nervous about dropping your dogs off with missy. She was so kind to our little Miss Zoe, she looked adorable when my wife picked her up. Zoe looked the best she has ever looked after a hair cut. Thanks so much for your compassion, it means so much to my wife and I. We will be back soon!

Been going here for a long time with my Cocker Spaniels. The groomers are expert, and just do a fabulous job. Would not even consider an alternative!!
