A lovely independent grocer on the Vineyard. They have a wonderful selection of fresh veggies and other produce. They carry most anything you'll need. Prices are steep, as is the norm for the islands, but the residents discount is fantastic and appreciated! 👍🏻

Awesome Grocery store!Steve Bernier and his staff run a clean high quality grocery with a broad variety of food and products.Organic food is plentiful.The store is always super clean and the service is excellent.The health food store “Healthy Editions” is the same and unparalleled on the Vineyard.Not to mention that the parking lot roofs house some of the largest array of solar panels on the Vineyard.So while it might be a bit more expensive, it’s worth every penny.I love Cronigs!

Great selection. A bit expensive if you aren't used to the prices on the island... I normally shop in Wegmans near Boston. But they had everything I needed for dinner and breakfast. Definitely recommend.

No more salad bar. Mandatory masks until at least September 2021. The covid emergency in Massachusetts is over, so this Supermarket is exceeding the Governor's and the CDC guidance on masks. They are over priced as well. Better to shop at many of the farmstands and the Stop Shop .

Nice grocery store with organic options, beautiful produce. Had gluten free options for my friend who is gluten free. Kind of like a Whole Foods must have been before it got big.

I shop at Cronig’s when on the island. It is the island’s version of Whole Foods and I love it. Great selection of food.Normally, I shop here and Morning Glory Farm. Also, I get fresh veggies from the Farmer’s Market.

While I love that there's a wide selection of unique and healthy options, sometimes the produce and other perishables can be either too old or something is just not quite right.. like they were frozen and thawed too many times! :/

Cronigs is a great supermarket on a small island. Lots of local, fresh produce and a great selection of food stuffs. MY only drawback is the prices. Very expensive which could be put down to the fact that everything needs to be transported to the island but still I found that their produce was very expensive.

Cronig's is often the most convenient grocery store around Vineyard Haven and it is the least difficult place to park. The food selection is good. However, Cronig's also has a well-earned reputation for being prohibitively expensive so most would advise dealing with inconvenience and shopping elsewhere for any large grocery haul. Avoid Cronig's when possible and limit to small purchases. Better as a convenience store than a grocery store.

Vineyard Haven cronigs has much more to offer than it's up island location, I would love to give it 5 stars but honestly because of the prices I just can not.. perfect for healthy and gluten free shopping, it's a great store just a lil on the pricey side

Masks (aside one guy who didn't have one on, blurgh) and one way aisles so thumbs up! Unable to tell if they are counting #'s coming in (it wasn't too crowded when I was there but it'd be good to know if they are watching for that). UPDATED: They were counting heads when I went in today to limit capacity - hurrah! Also spotted disinfecting wipes near the carts. Great mask use inside today. Bumping up to 5 stars!

Excellent! Cashier knew the location of the item I wanted and explained its use. A stock person sought help for me when he was unable to answer my question. His supervisor obtained the item for me.

I hope nobody from Martha's Vineyard... Can people from Martha's Vineyard read this do they have the internet... I go to the health food store for particular kind of oatmealThere is one flavor of kombucha and ginger ale that is the center of my guilty pleasure.I love the way that health food stores smell and this does not disappointHowever I'm always extremely self-conscious when I go into this place and any other health food store as I am clearly clueless... And I either wind up making nervous conversation... Or seeming to be grumpy... I just can't seem to hit the right note with the audience... What's weird is my ACT always plays really great in the main room of cronig's... I think bulgarians get me... And I just seem creepy everybody else.I can't believe anybody would actually have an opinion about any of these things..We are unbelievably lucky and fortunate... It's hard to imagine anybody having any opinion at all except extraordinary gratitude...I have bumped into celebrities there at what more do you want... They also have the salad that the president... I mean.. oh man I guess I can't really talk about that here anyway the one that I still think of as president... I think they're going to buy a house in... I'm one of those people that has spent years learning how the half-price meet works, how the pie delivery schedule works... How to get some of the impossible to get cronig's... They're meatballs are kind of amazing the people that work in the deli they should work for the United Nations I've never seen more genuinely friendly and hard-working I always feel ashamed and embarrassed around them... I just get my 12 meatballsand I no longer care if they're the last ones because I can never get them...every time I've asked for them to special order something they have done it even obscure kinds of cheese this is clearly self-indulgent and I no longer do...this place is better than any picture of Heaven I ever had in the winter time... I hibernate for 8 to 16 weeks in the summer... And the rest of the year it's Bliss. Also true empty before 9:30 a.m. 365 days a year... How is it possible that they can get such great produce around the year... Have you ever noticed how hard and diligent people work in the produce section... And that guy Z... And the manager lady I mean once again I don't know how you can attract...they are such good people and they are such great employees I cannot believe the the work ethic is just ridiculous... I've never seen people work so hard for a business that is not their own.. I don't know maybe their last name is cronic but I don't think so... Okay it's hella expensive but the discount that they give to island residents... I don't know how to say thank you enough I really mean it...we have been able to enjoy our level of living that would never have been possible without something like this... God bless you whoever you are...

They maybe pricey but it is worth it especially since they ALWAYS have FRESH EVERYTHING. They ALWAYS have what you need and more.Plus if you sign up for discounts it is WORTH IT.

In my opinion this is the better of the two Cronig's. It is much larger than the Up-island location with a lot more to offer! Hand down my favorite place to go grocery shopping.
