Was visiting from out of town was excited for ice cream. My daughter was unable to see the bottom of the menu so she stood on a chair briefly to see. A blonde woman behind counter who I assume was the owner came out and screamed so incredibly loud at her to get off and put the chair back. Not once was she asked nicely and she was not goofing off. I understand that it could have been dangerous but asking her nicely would have done the job, as she was just trying to see and the menu went far below even where I could see. Not only did she embarrass us but we will not return and we visit the area. Learn customer service and if you have an ice cream shop maybe learn how to deal with kids.

The owner is just plain rude to anyone and everyone, including her staff. She actually yelled at me and my kid to close the door when we were standing at the back of the line - no one was moving up so we could fully come inside, and I yelled back to her that if people would move a little, we could step all the way inside. She gave me nasty looks the rest of the time we were in there. The ice cream could be the best in the world, and I still wouldn't give someone like that my business. Wagon Wheel (Gill) JaDuke (Turners Falls)and Ice Cream Alley (Greenfield) all have much better customer service.

The food is fine but the blond lady who is always there (I think the owner?) is blatantly rude almost every time we have been there over the past several years. This last time was just too much and completely uncalled for. It’s worth going a bit farther from the center of town to Jaduke Scoops or the Wagon Wheel for good customer service and better ice cream.

I have been excited to try this place after moving to town. I arrived 10 mins before closing and the staff were BEYOND RUDE. A male employee was literally the closing the door on people. The woman at the counter was also so RUDE and could care less about customer service. The ice cream is OK, not incredible. And serving the ice cream in a soft drink cup with a cheap spoon is pure LAZINESS. I heard the staff tell a family 4 minutes after closing time, "we need you to leave so we can sweep". Do not recommend !

The owner is so rude! My 6 year old daughter was holding the door open for another customer that was coming out that was carrying a bunch of food and ice cream.The owner SCREAMED at my daughter from across the ice cream shop to shut the door! My daughter was only trying to be polite and trying to help another person. Totally unacceptable, we left immediately and took our business elsewhere. Thanks for sending my daughter into tears and made her feel like she did something wrong! We will NEVER go back. The ice cream isn’t that good anyways, don’t waste your time!

Me and my children don’t feel welcome here at all! If I could give 0 stars l, would!! I totally understand that here in greenfield/turners it is predominantly white, but my children and I have never felt so out of place in our lives! The owner was completely rude and yelled at my 2 children while they were playing even though there were other children (white) playing a while before my kids sat down. My daughter was very sad and thought she had gotten into trouble but I told her no and to just play a little more quietly. I have never given any place a review let alone a bad one but the owner seems to not like people of color. The delivery driver that came was black as well and she turned her nose up at him and whispered to her coworker. I will never be returning! My babies are innocent and should never have to experience this. If black people aren’t welcome here, JUST PUT UP A SIGN!

To be honest the food was so good that I’ll don’t mind the customer service. My experience wasn’t as bad as some of the other reviewers on here, the staff wasn’t rude or mean. Other reviews did mention that the staff made them feel bothersome/unwelcome which I can’t lie, I don’t disagree with.I work in the food industry so hey, I get it, customers ARE bothersome and extremely annoying sometimes, but they are bothering you for a service they paid for, so you smile and pretend like you aren’t counting down the seconds until they leave. Idk, doesn’t really bother me too much as a customer , but I used to work at a similar sandwich shop (a cheaper, lower quality one at that) and part of my brain just goes wow, I would have been in serious trouble for acting that way towards a customer.My best tip is not to come remotely close to closing time. Another recent reviewer mentioned that around 7:48 (place supposedly closes at 8) they were told by staff that they had closed already and were rudely sent out. I’m pretty sure I was there when this happened, (unless this is a repeated occurrence lol) and I can confirm their story. Idk, the ice cream was delicious and that’s what I would come back for, but if you are someone who’s whole experience might be ruined by one rude employee, it might not be worth it for you.

These women here are extremely rude! The lack of customer service at a family based company (a creamy) is truly disgusting! How dare these people treat their customers that way. I will never return and spend my money at their business again. They need a reality check. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

Let me start by saying I drive 30 minutes to get ice cream if the flavour of the week is one of my favorites. They have an abundant choices of hard ice cream 🍦 flavors. The yogurt flavors change every week on Thursday. They have had coconut🥥, peach 🍑, Strawberry🍓, Blueberry , coffee ☕ just to name a few. They also make homemade soups. They have pretty good hot dogs 🌭 everyone in the Franklin County area goes and visits the "County Creamy" for their ice cream fix. Great prices and awesome owners 👏. Next time you are craving really and I mean REALLY GOOD ice cream head down to the Country Creamy !!

When I first walked in one of the women working there told me to hurry up because there was a line, I asked everyone behind me to go in front of me, but they all said "no its okay you guys go" so my nephew and I order we asked for two soft serve strawberry flavor and they rudely said that they don't do strawberry flavor with soft serve only just options. They didn't list any flavors for soft serve so how was I suppose to know that? I kept being nice for my nephew. Both of the women kept giving me a dirty look the whole 5 minutes I was there. I only went there because there's no other ice cream places open yet.

It's busy at times so you sometimes have to wait however it's worth the wait. When it's very busy might consider shutting down food service side until it slows down especially when only one person is workiing.

Delicious food and ice cream! They give you a huge amount of ice cream for soft serve.. I always get a kiddy cone. They have hard ice cream, soft serve and frozen yogurt. Staff was very helpful with describing sizes. There was a small line, but well worth the wait.

The workers working there were very energetic about the job. Service was excellent! My BIG issue was the sundae! I got tons of whipped cream on it and tons of strawberries, but the heartbreaking issue of very little ice cream is giant no no in my terms of ice cream shops.

Delicious! Tried their new flavor Raspberry Cheesecake Ice Cream . The last time I tried the Lemon Meringue Pie ice cream which was really really good. Very popular spot. The line moves quick and is very organized.Always stop when walking the bike trail from Deerfield to Turners Falls and grab an ice cream and then walk back.

Very friendly staff, plenty of parking and outdoor space to eat, good food, portions are way too big. I ordered a kid's ice cream and still couldn't finish it. Interesting selection of hard ice cream flavors but not as big as it use to be. Highly recommended

Great ice cream, but when people patronize your business you should smile!!! I went when two older ladies were behind the counter and was told one was an owner. We received no welcome and they seemed annoyed when we had to take a second to decide because they were out of what we wanted. I get the service industry can be exhausting but if you can’t smile it’s time you as the owner put a fresh face behind the counter! Lighten up! People eat ice cream to be happy!!

If you like delicious ice cream with a side of sass, this is the place for you. The ice cream is so damn good it’s worth the grumpy attitude you’ll get LOL. (Mostly the same woman) God Forbid she say thanks or even maybe smile, and if there is something to argue about, she will!But that delicious ice cream keeps us coming back.

Not even a "thank you for your patronage". NO SMILING back. Just RUDE! I found it extremely unfriendly. Didn't make us want to spend our money at this particular establishment again. When I went and ordered just a simple ice cream cone I was very dismayed at the cost and portion. Then again I did grow up having ice cream across from the Turners Falls airport where they gave you too much for your money. But it always kept you going back and it had a nice area to sit down and the staff was generally very friendly and accommodating. Sometimes they would even welcome me by my name which is always a great feeling. The creamy located at 54 2nd Street or considered to be on the corner of Avenue A is outdated inside. However looking at some of the apartments in the building the entire building is outdated. I did notice but occasionally it smell like cigarette smoke in the antique shop as well as the creamy place and after inquiring to the property owner manager apparently the tenants are known to smoke inside the building which because the building is old it is not airtight. GROSS around food. The decor at the creamy is a little nauseating, over busy. Ugly Masonic. When you get to the counter you tend to feel pressured or like your patronage isn't really appreciate. Just a take a ticket, until your number is called, we want your money! Unlike Demi Livoto, I didn't happen to notice if they have any health specific options for people like me who are either diabetic or for other people Gluten Sensitive or what not. I would consider this place to be expensive and impersonal. I think I would have definitely rated this a higher rating if I weren't so great at leaving reviews and being a proactive and diligent perceptionist. Often times people forget that the person that they're waiting on could be somebody who just wants their item and to go about their day or it could be somebody like me who is prompted by Google to leave a review before I even leave an establishment. People care what I say. They care what I share, they care what I perceive. Anyone with a cell phone is your next secret shopper! During a pandemic it's more important than ever where we spend our money and choose which businesses to keep alive and which businesses are just there because they rented the place and you drive by it on your way to school or work or to the doctors. The flavor of the ice cream I chose was nothing to write home about. I got a smaller size I could because being diabetic. I wasn't thank for my patronage and I felt like the 6-feet social distancing laws didn't really apply there. They were not sanitizing the counter between customers. by the other pooches or patrons. To not be friemdly or treated with Compassion or gratitude during these times to have chosen to be a patron of the creamy in Turners is something that I definitely won't forget. I don't think that there are any other establishments that I have been in in which I've chose to spend any type of money which I haven't been profusely thanks for coming out during the pandemic and even more so for choosing them as a place to spend my money especially during these trying times. We all deserve a treat now and again but if that treat comes with a frown. lack of taste, and not even a friendly hello or goodbye or thank you then I would definitely encourage Unlike my friends and I've experienced at the country creamy this week. My ice cream went in the garbage and my friends went to her dog.

Prices are okay and the food is good but the customer service is pretty terrible, they’re always rude but they keep me coming back anyways. I always tip well and try to be as nice as I can, and sometimes they thank me but they’re still pretty rude in general. Very impatient usually. But I like their ice cream.
