My bf and I came here after an afternoon of beach hikes and exploring. I’m so happy we did too :) the atmosphere was clean, welcoming and authentic. The staff was so kind and knowledgeable. Our server Jessica was very hospitable, and incredibly helpful and patient. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, especially if you happen to be in the area! The cheese pizza and carbonara were 10/10 :)

One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to, and it was such a pleasure finding this gem while on vacation. Ms Sherri was a fantastic waitress and we were able to get her both times we went. Staff is friendly and the food is superb! Best deal is the early bird special you get a salad and bread with your meal. All in all a fantastic experience!

Stopped by on a Monday in October, and this place was hopping. Seems it’s popular with locals and visitors.We got the fettuccine and meatballs. It was good overall. The meatballs has an interesting crust of sorts.Food came out within minutes, which was a nice surprise. Overall, not a bad spot to stop by if you’re staying in Truro.

Dinner last night with friends was delicious!! Crab Stuffed Flounder, Chicken Parm, Caesar salads and Chocolate Mousse. Large portions and all prepared so well. Our server Sam was super nice and attentive and helped to make it a great night. Will definitely be going back again soon!!Parking: A big lot that always has space even when busy.

Food was great service was greatThe only things I would change to make it better is to have Italian music playing or some light dinner music not classic rock tunes. Sorry not what I want to hear when eating.And have the fire going and visible to make it a warm experience. If you want actually good food while on the Cape, definitely come here. Slightly pricey but well worth it for the fantastic service, fresh bread, and top notch food. We got the Vodka pasta, Pesto pasta, Bolognese, and Chicken parm and everything was delicious. The caesar salad was also spectacular. The vibe is definitely not like other places in Provincetown—slightly older and quieter crowd compared to anything on Commercial St.

A fantastic family-owned Italian restaurant in Cape Cod, you can’t go wrong if you chose Montano’s for lunch/dinner. We were a huge group and decided to split into smaller groups so that we could order without thinking too much. The bread served was delicious and soft, we had to have additional servings. We started off with ordering the fried mozzarella marinara which seemed unique and tasted great. We then went for a fettuccine Alfredo which couldn’t have been better done. The Alfredo sauce was as good as it gets. The pizza that we ordered turned out to be huge and we were smart in the sense that we only ordered one for the table. I had to try their Key Lime Pie and even that was spectacular. Pricing is a little above average but considering it to be Cape Cod, the prices seem reasonable. We had a wonderful experience dining at Montano’s and I’d definitely recommend this place if you are looking for one in the Cape Cod area around Truro/Wellfleet.

This was our second visit to this great Italian restaurant. It was Fri night, and it was packed.Everyone enjoyed all of their food : Ceasar salad, lambchops, scallops wrapped in bacon, and the pasta! Drinks and dessert were delicious. Our waiterress was very professional and sweet. I am looking forward to returning soon.Parking: When it is busy, you need to look around for a spot.

Our waitress did a great job of being personable and attentive. We started off the meal with crusty homemade Italian bread that one could dip into extra virgin olive oil and grated Locatelli Pecorino Romano cheese. We each had a different entree. My wife enjoyed every single bite of Ravioli. Our son enjoyed pepperoni pizza that was made with homemade dough that was light, fluffy and crusty and then topped with a flavorful tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. The crust was thin, fluffy with the perfect snap and crunch. The ravioli were chock full of ricotta cheese and seasonings and covered in a very fresh tomato sauce. The Scallop Picatta dish was lemony with a great balance of thinly sliced garlic and briney capers. The homemade linguine was the perfect addition to this entree. For dessert we enjoyed a light mousse like filling in the Nutella Cheesecake, rich Tiramisu, and light and delicious Cannoli.

It was ok. Food was not tasty. I had my favorite pasta fagiole and it has very little taste. Not sure why they wouldn’t use guanciale or even pancetta. For an Italian restaurant, the use of garlic was minimal. The serving is large. We brought the leftovers home and doctored them up and then they were delicious! The veal was good and tender but the marinara was also bland.The service was friendly and the atmosphere for great.

Overall experience was pretty OK, not great. Overpriced and our wait staff person was pretty clueless. They kept forgetting things. We felt like an afterthought eating here.The food was actually pretty good. The scallops were definitely fresh and cooked well. My fiancé really liked his dish too. The salad was crisp. The homemade bread was good, too.We tried calling ahead and they said, 'oh its not busy now' but wouldn't put our name in or tell us to make reservations (???). When we got there, there were like 8,000,000 people waiting and people who made reservations so we had to wait almost 30 minutes and we were STARVING.I would not go here again.

This is a nice Italian restaurant averagely priced (for Cape Cod) with a nice ambiance and good service. The food quality is above average starting with their freshly made pasta making it a place good for both lunch and dinner. Portions are generous and selection of beverages is decent. This is a kids friendly place with a few appropriately sized portion for the little ones too. Parking is ample and free. Bathrooms are clean and overall place seems well taken care of.

We ordered eight main courses with salads, appetizers and desserts for takeout. When I drove to Montano’s Restaurant, I was impressed by their signage requirements regarding social distancing and wearing masks. Their staff were all masked and more importantly they seemed comfortable wearing them. The kitchen made everything we ordered to our specifications. My one regret was failing to ask them to label each of the take out containers, since it would have made it easier for us to recognize which dish was for each of our family members. This wasn’t their fault, how could they know we’d be eating dinner on our porch! I’d love to return soon and try their pizza that I’ve heard is exceptional!

The Grilled Swordfish with Lemon Beurre Blanc made me melt with every single bite. It is the only food I have left a specific review for. Absolutely amazing. The wait staff was phenomenal as well. We have eaten in over 40 states and this is the first place that ever got an instant review from me. Yes, I'm writing this from the table.

Best Clam Chowder on The Cape -The sign boasting New Haven Style pizza caught our eye.Delicious thin crust pizza is the best this side of Wooster StWe paired it with a cold summer Cape Cod Beach BlondeOur server, Darlene, was fun and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Don’t get me wrong, Montano’s is a very nice restaurant, good selection of drinks and food. Service was great too. The reason it didn’t get 4 stars ⭐️ is because all the food were on the salty side but many other seem to love it.

Once we were seated our server was very polite and professional. We were never left with a dirty plate or empty glass. We started with the Clam Chowder which was a bit watery for my taste as I prefer it thicker, but still tasty, and the Pasta e Fagiole which my girlfriend really enjoyed. That came out very quickly after we ordered. The time between the soup and the main dishes however was a lot longer, but not too bad considering it seemed pretty busy that night. The seafood was fantastic and the crab meat made an excellent addition to the main fish. The sides were also well cooked and delicious. Overall a very good dinner

This place absolutely Sucks! We went there to celebrate our anniversary and ended up leaving without eating! Over 10 minutes before someone came to our table. Restaurant was not busy. Eventually got bread. Oil and cheese were awful. Had to ask for water. All the waitstaff had zero personalities. Didn't say hello and welcomed you, no conversation, nothing. Ordered our drinks and food right away as we had a feeling it might take some time. Did get our drinks after a bit. 45 minutes later, nothing. Still nothing. We ended up leaving as there was no way the food was coming anytime soon. Paid for our drinks and left. Absolutely the worst Restaurant we have ever been to! A few other things to point out...the music was awful. How about playing some lovely Italian music. A little andrea Bocelli or Josh Groban? No, we got 80s pop. And they allowed dogs in the Restaurant! Not service dogs. Just stupid little pooches that should have been left home. Avoid this Restaurant at all cost!
