We dropped by to pick up some fresh seafood and found Cape Tip clean and not fishy smelling. The service was friendly and helpful. A very good selection of live lobsters, oysters and clams as well as cod, swordfish and other fish. Very nice selection of condiments and spices as well. I was impressed with the high quality of fresh fish at the Cape Tip Seafood Market in Truro. The staff was very helpful and there was a clearly marked sign limiting the number of customers in their store at any time.

The food is good. The prices are decent.. the service is less then pleasant. Seemed like we were a bother to her when we asked for scallops and lobsters. A smile goes a long way. Visited 9-18-18

Awesome scallops tonight from Cape Tip Seafood! Last night we had their swordfish! Thick cut and great on the grill, but tonight’s scallops were like butter. Thank you and we will be back tomorrow!

Nice, clean, very friendly and knowledgeable crew. They're nice to tourists and locals alike. They have lots of extras to buy to add to your order. We came in earlier than our order time and they were very accommodating.

Wonderful stop right after we got our beach rental keys! Got swordfish one day, shrimp the next and both were delicious! Great market pricing for lobster too. If in Truro you gotta check this place out

Ordered oysters shucked for a big family dinner. Instead received oysters that had been smashed on the side and opened. Lots of the oysters had up to 10 pieces of shell in them. Many were not edible. Called and asked if they had any procedure for this kind of thing. It was explained to me that these particular oysters were difficult to open.Terrible experience. Will not return

When on the outer cape this is one of our favorite places to pick up fresh seafood. Workers are patient, friendly and helpful. Typically a good selection as well as some side items like chips, dips and other things you’ll need when eating the food of the Sea. Recommended!

Some of the best fresh seafood in the area. Recently purchased some of the best tuna and scallops I've ever had. If you're in the Truro area and want to pick up something fresh this is your place. Lobster, shrimp, scallops, salmon, sea bass, tuna and more. Also offer some prepared dishes as well.

My boyfriend and I went to Cape Tip to grab an easy dinner that we could heat up at home. Cape Tip had a wonderful variety of fresh seafood and some prepared dishes we could heat up at home. We went for the Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Fish Cakes! Wow, the mac and cheese had awesome flavor, was creamy and delicious! The fish cakes, in my opinion, were probably the best I have ever had! There was a nice crunch from the fry and the inside consistency was perfect and moist! Thank you Cape Tip for the delicious meal and kind service!

Can't really compare it to our markets in Scotland or compare it to SF... It's simply not that kind of market, but yea they do some fresh fish and shellfish as well as pre packed clam chowder and the likes. Prices... Again what's the norm in Cape Cod? It's certainly expensive by UK standards costing almost double even with the low exchange rate.But given there's nothing else for the next 10km or so, it's probably a life saver for the locals.

Selection is beautiful and price is reasonable. I really like that the store doesn't stink. Service is hit or miss. I went here in Sept. 2020 and the ladies behind the counter were wonderful and so helpful. One gave me advice on places to fish, bait selection, etc. Went again in Nov. 2020 and the grumpy gray-haired lady told me I could not have her last pound of flounder while there was obviously enough in the case. What gives? This isn't Seinfeld.

The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable for the Cape. But it is run by a wicked witch. I spent over $100 in there one day and tipped the server. I asked for a net bag for my steamers. Like all of the other fish markets sell them in. I'm on vacation and it sure makes it easer to steam them in the bag. She gave me a dirty look and told me if she gave me one she would have to charge me for it. I said no thanks and haven't been back since.

I will have to agree with the other reviewers. The woman at the counter is not very pleasant or accommodating. I go to the Cape every year and bring home fresh fish, I've gotten seafood from Woods in Plymouth, and also in Wellfleet. This place was new to me, the seafood is very nice, fresh. Could have been packed better, everything was leaking, only in paper packing like I was buying coldcuts. Scallops in bag that was not even closed. I asked for ice. Nope. Low on ice. I bought a bag at the liquor store. Will not be returning, I'll go into Wellfleet next time and spend my money there.

Cape Tip Seagood has the best selection of fresh right from the ocean seafood! The selection is large. Service is friendly. Lobsters are by far the best price and quality around. I’m a fish goody and really fussy. This iOS the go place for seafood. Have some fun have them cook you a four pound lobster, steamers and chowder and have a picnic on their picnic tables ! A four pound lobster will cost about 39.00 half the price if a restaurant! Way better aNF a lot cheaper than Macs seafood. Enjoy!

In and out with a pound of jumbo shrimp.... I saw them selling a 5lb lobster for $54. A great little market. We are coming back for the lobsters indeed... loved the place! And it’s next too the package store with good Cape prices.

Small, excellent seafood market. Great one stop shopping. They always have some fresh fish, but it helps to be flexible in your expectations. Excellent array of appetizers, too.

Stopped in today to check out the lobsters and oysters and ended up walking out with crab cakes. The folks working answered all my questions right down to the ingredients in the crab cakes. They were delicious! We’ll be heading back tomorrow for the oysters and a couple of four pound lobsters (if you call ahead they’ll shuck your oysters and steam the lobsters).

I stopped in the market a couple days ago something smelled real nice. I was told they were making fishcakes. I bought some fishcakes and Lobster Mac & Cheese. OMG, the fish cakes and Lobster Mac both blew my socks off. I was in heaven while I was eating. I was told Chef Liz made them. All I can say is i'll be back!
