Great selection of products for all types of animals. They have brands that aren't in regular chain pet stores. You can sign up for a membership to get discounts. Plus there are live animals there. Cats and bunnies just chilling throughout the store.

Shop Local. This is amazing place to get lots of animal needs. Also I have been able to order obscure items not on shelves and they were happy to do so. I usually end up going home with animals and more than my list and my husband tried to ban me from going. Lol the staff know it and laugh along with us making it very small town personalized experience. Sure beats any box store place and their prices are extremely comparable

Great farm store with everything you could need from feed to fences. They also carry a wide variety of tack, livestock supplies and my personal favorite Chicks(when in season)!Make sure to say hi to their resident bunny, cat and poultry!

I like they have home delivery for a smal fee which is very convienent and they’ll deliver the feed bags with the hay! Kind staff. The back mostly has horse equipment. I have goats and chickens and most times find the supplements and equipment that I need. Not the place for us to buy cat food— pricey since it’s fancy cat food. The bunnies they sell are very cute.

The staff is very nice and it is a quaint store. I purchased bare root asparagus plants from here. There were two different kinds available, purple passion and millennium. I asked theperson who worked there which ones was which as they were not clearly marked. I wanted one of each. She came and told me which ones were which. When the plants came up, they were all purple passion and about half came up. Disappointing as asparagus takes 2 years before you can harvest. I also would say they are not growing very vigorously. I will try to get some more in the fall but not from here and will probably not buy any barefoot plants from here again. I have better luck from Amazon I truly hate to say!I did purchase a pitch fork from here that I really like. It is serving me well thus far.

This place is great! They have things nobody else has and the people are wonderful!Great selection of bird feeders, specialty fertilizers and other items. Always my go to when I had chickens and bags of coal have kept my workshop warm on the coldest days.The parking lot is flat and there is plenty of parking on the gravel lot.

This is my go to place for baby chicks, cat litter, garden supplies and so much more. The staff is amazing and so helpful. They're very knowledgeable. they also have a really cool cat that greets you when you're walking in

Been here 2x in the last 2 weeks to buy chicken food. The people here are extremely friendly and attentive. They answered my questions and helped me load multiple bags of 50lb feed into my car. Great local shop. Good prices, good selection and great people.

Visited for my first time today looking for a particular horse supplement. They will be looking into it and getting back to me. Purchased a squirrel baffle for my bird feeder pole and found the tube type wouldn't work so I returned an hour later and easily exchanged it for one that flared (this one worked!). Very easy to exchange and the staff was very friendly. Looking forward to returning for the horse supplement (I am anticipating they will be able to get it as they carry other products by the company to the one I'm interested in). My son loved all the animals, especially the bunnies.

This place has a variety of pets/animals foods, products, care items. As well as gardening items(soils, tools, etc). From dogs to horses, they’ve got you covered! I bought some bird seed here and they had a large variety to choose from, as well as a ton of different bird feeders. They also have live chickens and a goat in a pen outside(I’m not sure if they are for sale).A bit on the pricey side but worth the visit if you are in need of a specific items that other stores may not offer. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

staff were pretty rude - cared more about themselves and their conversations behind the desk. i asked a question and got eyerolls and huffs. manager with the pink hair seems miserable. i feel like i’ve given them many tries as this was my go to place for feed but would rather go to TSC than support them after the last few visits. im not sure what has changed since a couple months ago when i enjoyed going but as of late, my conclusion is that they are unknowledgeable, unfriendly, and unhelpful. really a shame.

Farmers Exchange is our favorite store for backyard farming. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to talk through problems. Their feed prices are competitive. I love that after I order I can back my van up to the loading dock and throw in my feed, straw, bedding, etc.

Good selection and staff seems friendly with regulars. During my first three visits I felt rushed as they were more interested in helping the customers they knew then helping unfamiliar faces. I asked about the prices for the organic feed and i was told "all organic food is more expensive"... yeah obviously and that wasn't my question.

Chris and his team are awesome! They are very knowledgeable, carry great products, and are always concerned to make sure that they deliver what you need for your horses in time. This is not an easy business to run, but they do it with professionalism and an honest care for animals and their owners. I highly recommend Townsend Farmers Exchange!

Greta place, the staff knew there stuff. Me and my partner have ordered chicks from them last spring and plan to do another order this spring. Love the fact they have a recycling area for old feed bags. The little farm out side is great for the kids to see and they have quite the large selection of things.

I went up to get chicks that were going to be available, according to your own website, today. I took the time to go up to your store to be told by your sullen cashier that they had come in a few days earlier, and oh, sorry, they're gone. How do you not post this anywhere on your website or Facebook (I had checked both prior to up)? How many people are wasting their time today because you couldn't bother to let people know about it? This isn't even the first time this has happened, but figured first time was just one of those things. Very poor business practice

Very helpful, but the prices listed on the product are often incorrect. I was charged more for what it was actually priced for on the shelf, and i find that unacceptable personally

I love to visit the animals they have some interesting ones this year...from bald neck chickens to huge white turkeys & sheep, goats & more. I would give them a 5+ star rating but I've never actully bought anything there but I do love this place & the animals look well cared for & happy
