I lived in Townsend for 30 years and Apple Meadow was always my go to place to anything DIY. Sam and staff are fantastic and always helpful. I moved away from the area several years ago and have struggled to find such a helpful and friendly place to go for my home and garden needs.

Went for a quick trip to get a couple of parts for my sump pump setup. The staff was friendly and helpful, as always. Much better experience than one of those mega depot type stores and I paid no more for the parts. Its nice to be able to make a quick trip with out the hassle of going to a large shopping center this time of year.

I have never gone in here without at least 2 people asking if they can help. And they always can. I never feel like I could have done better at a big box store. One night when our power went out they stayed at the store 15 minutes after closing to make sure I got fuel for my emergency heater. You will not be sorry you went here !

Sam and his staff are everything you’d expect! Apple Meadow is an extremely helpful and friendly environment you’d expect from a local business. Staff is very friendly and can actually tell you where things are located in their store. Wish there was a little more selection though and some of the prices are fairly steep. Well worth it if you need something quick rather than travelling 30 minutes to the nearest big store, but would appreciate better hours. If you work normal work hours like I do than it's very difficult to make it in time before they close during the week.

Great selection of even the most random things you may need for any project. Thankful for the selection as it saves me from having to drive all the way to Lowe’s for one thing. Plus the staff is always willing to go above and beyond to help you figure out what you need.

I'm now a customer for life! I've never had this level of customer service from a place like Home Depot or Lowe's.Basically, the water filtration system under my sink was leaking everywhere on a Sunday night and had to be removed; the system had been piped right into the pipes, with no shutoff valves whatsoever! Hack city!Sam rescued me! I shut down the water to my sink, went to the hardware store at ten minutes before close, and desperately explained my problem...but I'm not a plumber, so it was difficult to explain. Sam told me to go home, take some pictures on my phone, and come back. "I'll stay open for you," he said.Seriously???True to his word, Sam opened the store back up to get me what I needed ...TWICE, staying late just to make sure I was all set! I said I had the right tools--I didn't because, again, I'm not a plumber--but Sam dedicated his time to making sure my sink didn't turn into a catastrophe.And he taught me enough that I can now replace my sink, vanities, etc myself in the future.Like I said, I'm now a customer for life. Well done, Apple Meadow!

This is a small town hardware store that is very well stocked,where old fashioned customer service is the norm. As soon as you walk in the door some one will greet you and ask if you need any assistance. They are helpful and very knowledgeable.

What makes Apple Meadow so good is the people. They can help you find what you need. If they don't have any they will get it. Everything you need from a local hardware store that you won't get from a big box stores, people who care.

I love this place. I don't typically frequent hardware stores but when I do, this is a very convent place for me to go to. The staff is very nice and helpful, the store is very organized, and I always get my grill's propane tank refilled here.

Put my mask on and went in , everybody i could see was wearing a mask, which was good because the store was kinda crowded, 5 people on staff and maybe 6 customers, kinda crowded for a small store, especially when one of the customers, a large man speaking loudly leaning on the counter no mask spraying his particulates onto anybody passing close enough, now I have been told that speaking loudly is as bad as a sneeze, so i was a bit horrified by this , no one else especially the staff seemed to notice or care, I said nothing , knowing the divisiveness masks have fueled, just another bully , but now taking our lives in his hands because he knows the virus is a fake diversion sponsored by the democrats to make trump look bad. And ya i bet i am not that far from the truth.
