Harvest Host hidden gem. Just a few short miles off the highway. Easily accessible, easy parking and super quiet at night. The store has lots to offer for travelers, and the staff were very friendly.Perfect little stop for an overnighter. Thanks for letting us stay!

Whittier farms is a GEM. Not hidden. Present in the community, supporting us all! Education, fresh food, events! I do most of my food shopping here now. LOVE IT. Have gone on wagon ride tours, tract-or-treat, cheese tastings, national dairy month special event. So much fun. We love to visit the old dog, horse, cows...

Delicious mac and cheese, apple crisp, steak tips, ice cream. I tried the pumpkin oreo. I was skeptical, but oh, it is delicious. I believe ice cream comes from westerly it's so good. They have quarts and half gallons and various flavors. Their meats are good and worth the $. Baked goods are delicious. I love their selection and happy to support a local farm.

This is a wonderful place to stop by for all kinds of local goods, they even have LP BBQ tanks! Open year round. Their own beef is the best I've ever had, a deep red the way real beef should be. Their own veggies are always fresh. Homemade baked goods and fudge are so delicious! Bring the kids to see the animals!

They have tons of locally sourced goods! Meat, produce, desserts, sweets, etc. Even cows & horses that you can pet and say hi too! for COVID-precautions they have a pickup window & curbside pickup.

I stumbled upon this old farm / stand... and so very happy that I found it. With the hustle and bustle of 2019, I felt like I was transported back to a simpler time. I had the good fortune of being there during harvest season. Crisp autumn air, pumpkins, apples, mums - great place to visit if you're looking for a day trip. 💜

Love to buy from local farmers. Veggies are super fresh. Large selection, beef, icecream, dairy products and Maple syrup. It's a little pricey but I still ended up getting some nice veggies.

Great local farm, always a ton of events for the kids. The store is well stocked with cheeses, beef, premade farm fresh meals, etc. We participate in their farm share and enjoy visiting weekly to pick up our share.

My experience with Whittier goes back like 30 years. Nice little shop on a privately owned farm. As someone who has raised cows, you can see how healthy and content they are grazing in the fields. Which is reflected in the quality of their dairy and beef. If you're even remotely local, you should stop here for dinner needs sometime.

Beautiful working farm. Come with an empty freezer & veggie drawer. Wish we had but found some wonderful items I could fit in my coach!

Their homemade soups make life worth living - totally thick with fresh ingredients. I got my ill nephew 2 pints of chicken soup with wild rice from there, and overheard him telling a friend very emphatically, after eating one pint, that it was the best chicken soup he ever had. He wondered where the other pint went. (Shhh...) Great veggies and fruits as well as a full complement of Brittany's salad dressings as well as hot-house tomatoes and baby lettuce. Boar's Head Charcuteries and other meats, fresh milk, eggs, cheese, pickles, homemade baked beans... some of their own grown cattle and pork products. Dom's marinated meats, too. Fresh white bread and specialty breads (banana bread with walnuts). And a very lot more...

Will not be recommending to any of my family or friends. I stopped by on a day which they were closed (without realizing), with a cut of meat already in mind, having received good products from them previously. However, when I approached the store to double check that they were in fact closed, and see when I could come next time to pick it up, I was met by hostile and spiteful comments from one of the farm workers telling me to leave. While I would have been completely understanding of a simple and polite exchange asking me to leave, this employee was incredibly impolite, and as a result I will not be coming back again.

I have been here twice; it's out in the country. It's worth the trip. They have some food products available all year round - frozen meats from locally raised cattle and poultry, small-batch potpies, locally made candies and their own bakery products. In summer and fall, they have fresh produce and fruits. All top quality.

My family and I love to visit here. Our infant son loves to see and pet the horses and he loves to see the baby cows. The produce is always fresh and all of the baked goods are high quality ingredients and so delicious. We especially love the fresh strawberry and blueberry cakes. The staff is always so friendly and we also love the yummy warm apple cider drink that is a perfect combination of warm, sweet, and tart.

Great place. Easy, simple parking. Working farm. Cows can be seen all over. Meat selection is fresh, flash frozen. Some of the best I've had. Prices weren't bad. I'm told milk from there supplies Cabot.

My family and I stumbled upon Whittier Farms driving back roads from hiking at Douglas State Forest, and we're glad we did! We all loved petting the baby cows, and the horses. Staff was super friendly. Everything we bought from the store was great, and there's so much more I'd like to pick up next time. Lots of options for different comfort levels (covid): in-store, outside window and curbside pick-up.

For the better part of the last two decades, we have been regular customers of Whittier Farms. We not only buy milk, fruit, vegetables, beef, and goodies made in their kitchen (potato salad, meatballs, Mac & Cheese, and so much more), but we also get yard mulch and loam from them. It a wonderful local, family run business that I am proud to support.

Multi generation family owned farm, if you like to keep it local you won't be disappointed. The produce is second to none, the doms meats while pricey are also VERY good. They also carry other local brands, fresh baked bread and boars head meats. My family now does about 70% of our grocery shopping here. Compared to what we pay at market 32 it come out to be less. Also they have whole foods selections so you don't find yourself impsulsively buying garbage snacks etc.

We went to get steaks and there were only a few. I saw the piece on Chronicle and it looked wonderful, but we were very disappointed.
