We recently moved our dogs care here after a difficult battle receiving poor care elsewhere. We followed Dr. Gregory Kidd, and to say we are relieved to be working with him again is an understatement. The staff were kind from start to finish. They were accommodating with my large breed and understanding of his personality.In terms of my direct care experience a few specifics that set them apart from other places:1. Extensive rapport building at the beginning and throughout the appointment. He was previously being muzzled out of no where and now is back to doing well with patient veterinary care.2. Collaboration of options and being included in the process.3. Extensive testing to make the most educated decisions.4. Extensive explanations that include information and diagrams for me to understand what’s going on with my dog.We drive 45 minutes each way to bring our dogs here and I would happily drive further for them to be treated with dignity and respect here!! Very appreciative of our experience!

As a dedicated customer of Boston Road Animal Clinic for over 8 years we have seen many changes starting early this year with new management. Dr Gestrich and staff took over and transformed it to what it is today. Their Motto is "Built on Trust" and as a customer I could not pick a better motto. The clinic is a one stop for 99% of your pets needs.Recently Dr Gestrich and staff treated our dog who sadly had terminal lymphoma .Their compassionate approach to our dog was truly appreciated. Our dog (Norman) had compassionate and respectful treatment rite up to the final end of his life.The clinic sent a beautiful sympathy card that everyone signed that is cherished.Cant say enough of how "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" Boston Road Animal Clinic is with no regrets what so ever. I had to find a vet very quickly when my cat had a cardiac event and needed to be put to sleep and Boston Road Animal Clinic was EXTREMELY kind and helpful. They offered various appointments for that day the Dr. and the vet tech were so kind and patient. I was not embarrassed or ashamed of how emotional I was. I then scheduled a check-up for my other cat and they were even better. Everyone knew us by name and welcomed us upon arrival. We did not have to wait more than 2 minutes to be seen into a room. Again everyone was helpful and kind. Highly suggest!!!

This place is amazing. Our doggo had a raging double ear infection and they got us in the same day. Super fast visit too- In and out in 40 minutes and that was swabs, general checkup, and nail clipping, and prescription pickup.Will always come here for his care.THANK YOU SUTTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL

What a nice place to take my dog. Everyone was incredible from the staff handling comicg and going. The office visit was an extremely fair value. I was also very impressed when they showed that other things were not needed till July. The tech(another 5 star) said if I did th couple things then, all I needed was a Tech appointment. I had been going to my old Vet 35 miles away since moving to Sutton. Not anymore. This is such a place..... No need to look further.

They are wonderful. I needed a cat put down and the vet we take our two dogs to and have spent and enormous amount of money to, wouldnt take her because she had never been there even tho they previously put my other cat down that never had an appt with them either. Boston road animal clinic didnt have any problems getting her in immediately to be put down as she was in pain and went downhill really fast. They were so compassionate and caring that I told them I would be changing vets and made our first appointment with our little dog and I cant say enough nice things about them. They are wonderful and will now be our new vet for our 2 dogs

After being told by several local vets that they were not accepting new patients, we were very happy to be referred to BARC, where my cat Mr. Gray was welcomed and given a thorough exam by the kind and engaged Dr. Kidd and vet tech Yam (and helpful front desk greeting from Kate). We have found our place for Mr. Gray's care!

The doctor made our scared cat very comfortable for a physical exam. His explanation of possible diagnosis was very clear and concise. We took our 13 y/o family cat concerned about her recent loss of weight; he balanced potential diagnosis with what the owner's responsibilities would be going forward. This is the best Veterinary Hospital I have ever taken my animals too. We had to do a lot of switching around due to moving and we finally found one worth it! Dr. Fowler is the BEST. I recently brought my golden retriever into the clinic for a vaccine. It was so nice to see the clinic back into private hands. Although it was meant to be a quick visit with an assistant, we were able to ask questions and spend some time getting puppy love and information from Dr. Gestrich. The entire staff were friendly and attentive to my dog. I’m hoping people will get to know the new owners and staff now operating Boston Road clinic

I brought my dog for his annual check-up and any vaccinations he might need. Everyone from the front desk to the Dr. himself was very personable and friendly . Even though it took a few tries to get a blood sample (my dog does not give up his blood easily), he did not whimper or complain (which he usually does). The whole visit went quite smoothly and the dog was never distressed.

Brought our german shepherd , Max, here who is aggressive with strangers. We have been to many vets that were nervous with his behavior, who suggested to put him down . Dr G met with Max , showed no fear at all,he had total patience and professionalism the entire visit. He was able to treat him and make a game plan for the future. I couldn't say more about the entire staff , they helped us and our dog . I highly recommend them! This was the best vet visit I have ever had and finally I found a vet I will definitely be back to.

Dr. Dyer has been taking care of my animals since she Graduated from Tuft (20 years Plus), Not only is she a great doctor, she is one of the most compassionate persons I have ever met. She has a knack of pinpointing even the most difficult problems. Very east to talk to, makes a difficult diagnosis easy for the laymen to understand. Accessible to a fault. The Clinic staff mimic Cary, caring and extremely professional. That Scotch lad that hides in the shadows runs a very tight and organized ship. I could go on and on about how wonderful the Clinic has been to my two feline girls for 18 years. If you don't have a current vet, give them a call. If you are not satisfied with your current situation, take the leap and give Dr. Dyer and staff a visit. You won't regret it.Long Time friend of the Doctor.

Years ago I brought 2 cats there to be put down as my regular vet did not perform it. They were so kind during an obviously traumatic time I decided then and there that if I ever got another kitty, I'd bring her to Boston Road Animal Hospital. Well, 2 years later I was finally ready to adopt another. I brought her yesterday for a check up and continue to be impressed! They are helpful, kind and very friendly and professional. I'm so glad I decided to change vets! Definitely worth the trip if you're not from Springfield!!

We’ve been using BRAC for a couple years now. We were using them when it was corporately owned and can agree with some of the reviews that were mentioning poor communication. We would consistently get no answer and no calls back. Fast forward to Dr. G taking over the practice now. My dog is having some issues and he along with the techs spent a good deal of time with me explaining every detail and very option. We had X rays done and Dr. G just called me on his way to work from his cell phone at 8:00 am and followed up with results and a care plan. I was absolutely not expecting that. If you spend just a few minutes with Dr. G and the new techs you will realize that he and the team absolutely get it and care deeply. We are very happy with Dr. G taking over the practice and won’t be going anywhere else.

Boston Road Animal Clinic has made changes and for the better. We have brought out German Shepherd Zoe in for several appointments under the new Veterinarian and have been very pleased . During these times it’s hard to get administrative help and technicians but they are also working on that need . The friendly and helpful receptionist, the professional, expert vet tech, and the amazing Dr. Andrew made our first visit a wonderful experience. I’ve had cats for more than 40 years and lived all around the world with them. Andrew and his staff are down to earth, caring, and warm, and stack up to any of that I’ve seen anywhere. The fees are reasonable, and even though he had the opportunity, he didn’t try to upsell me on expensive foods or treatments.

We had left the clinic a year ago and started going to another one. My dog Bruin developed some sort of mass on his paw. The vet at the clinic we switched too was very quick in taking X-rays and wanting to amputate the toe. Hardly touching my dog. My husband brought him to Dr Kidd at Boston road and couldn’t be more happy. He took his time got on the floor let our dog get to know him. Normally my dogs are anxious at the vet but not today. Obviously we switched back! There’s a saying that dogs can sniff out the good and bad in people and I believe it! Very happy with the new doctor there! Thankyou Dr Kidd!
