I am a rewards card member for them, and when i went to return an item brought at the store that cost $12 with packaging as best I can , person at the desk was very uncomfortable. This proves buying stuff from local hardware stores and promoting them is not always a good option. Next time, I'll order hardware items from Amazon (though i never brought hardware items in the past from Amazon) even if it takes a little more time, I don't want to see stressed out people, that kills my mood too. Thank you Aubuchon, keep up your good work till every store get closed out due to AmazonQuiz: really don't know about all these positive reviews, who wrote them? store employees or manager?

As always, the staff was very helpful. I especially like the fact they carry heavy items to my car. The store is well laid out and clean. The product selection is excellent. Wonderful local hardware store. Customer service is top notch unlike another near-by store. Only wish there was more brand diversity. Seems to be their store brand mostly, and I am interested in more of a variety. Love this store!

I usually buy my birdseed and suet here. I've bought lots of paint and painting supplies here and all of the sales floor staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Prefer to support local stores than go to the big box stores.

I needed a toggle switch to get my portable heater operating. It works now. Got to get another toggle switch to get the same heater to spread the heat back and forth too

I walked out instead of completing my purchase. Granted that I am not the most patient person on the planet but it's they're are three employees at the checkout and 2 of them are in a conversation with each other and the third one was waiting for a guy to go to his car and get his wallet or something. I did wait about 2 minutes beyond what I considered an acceptable amount of time to wait to give my money to someone. But when it looked like the idle employees were about to stop chatting and ring me up, one of them pulled out his phone and the other one walked away. So I tossed my purchase on the counter and left. There's plenty of other places around that will at least make an effort to pretend to respect my time. If this was the first time this sort of thing has happened here I wouldn't be posting this, but there's an established pattern that has formed.

Absolute best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I called in morning because I discovered a difficult to find Yeti wheeled cooler and this place was last to have it anywhere around and not only did these guys hold it for me, they held it all day till 530pm even though 3-4 other people offered cash on the spot. Just awesome service and I’ll be sure to recommend this place to anyone!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They don't just tell you the aisle that the product that you're looking for is in, but go with you and review the selections and pros and cons. If you spend the time to explain what exactly you plan to use it for, they go out of their way to give you more information than you may have even thought of. I've learned a lot of useful tips from the staff. Pricing varies, lots of great deals (especially if you have a rewards membership) and some things a little pricey but I guess it's like most places.

This is a fantastic spot to find pretty much everything you will need for regular home items. You may need to go to one of the big box stores for a serious project but I encourage you to shop this quiet little spot with quite reasonable prices. Real nice and easy to get in and out fast during quarantine. COVID-19 makes you think of everything differently these days. Purchases this year included bird seed, extension cords, light bulbs, photo hanging project, and batteries.

They have what you need, usually, and even things you didn't know you needed. Employees are knowledgeable and helpful...no pressure. They have added new items, such as several types of bird seeds. You may pay a higher price, but it is local and convenient.

I had a blue rhino tank that my boyfriend got me and I couldn't get it open. The gentleman who worked there was very helpful and explained how the tanks work. Neither of us could open it and he recommended that I return it and get another and directed me to the closest blue rhino dealer. I decided to return the tank at Aubuchon and bought one of their nice new tanks. When I got it home it worked like a charm!!! Every time I go to the Aubuchon in Stow it is a great experience! Thank you.

The prices here tend to be on expensive side but the paint department is on point. I recently went here to browse but got the impression they thought i was there to shop lift. Was asked several times if i needed help finding something, and after the third time from the same guy it was very awkward, got the impression the gentleman wanted me to leave. I was just browsing for stuff waiting for my wife to get her covid shot, felt very unwelcome!
