I shopped here about 40 years ago, and always visited and shopped each year thereafter. Their vanilla is the best as well as the welcome you get when shopping there. A national treasure. Long may they continue to keep their presence in West Stockbridge.

Great stop for extracts and baking ingredients like mini butterscotch morsels😀 love that the extracts are made on site in barrels, as they have been since 1888. You can also find herbs and spices in bags( no need to toss your old jars out, just refill), along with Penny candy, puzzles, yummy syrup, jams, and all kind of other fun stuff! All this is a very cool, very old building with lovely staff. Put this place on your list of must stops.

A funky small old time general store concentrating on extracts and spices. I get and have sent to me their hand made Bay Rum toilet water (after shave) with old fashioned label. There is nothing else like it in the world. A very inexpensive but thoughtful gift. I keep 25 at home at all times. Love this place!

Famous for their vanilla extract (thanks to Martha Stewart) this shop is filled with all types of unique items, many produced locally: clothing, candy, toys, souvenirs. Be sure to check out the photo booth. Bakers and kids of all ages will love this place.

Small, family run shop with great extracts. A lot of vintage candies and toys, with a lot of turnover. I would definitely recommend it.
