I never leave a bad review but my cousin had his kitty neutered here and 3 days later the kitten was very lathargic and wouldn't eat a thing and overall just very sick. Called them and they said sorry we can't see him tomorrow,we have no appointments. Had to rush him to an emergency cat hospital in Sturbridge and they literally saved his life. I definitely don't recommend going here. Scary!

My baby Thor was neutered at this clinic recently. I cant tell enough good things about how they took very good care of my kitty.. the whole process of scheduling an appointment with them was pretty simple and they reached out within a couple of days with availability. Once Scheduled, they gave us clear instructions on how to prepare the kitty for the surgery. Everything went smooth. the lady who received Thor at the clinic was fantastic and very patiently listened to my concerns and even offered Thor a litter box to do his business as it was pretty early. Everything went smooth with the surgery it appeared.. my baby was well taken care of. very affordable unlike my vet who charged 5 times the cost. WOuld highly recommend Sterling clinic to all those who wanna spay or neuter their kitty cats.. Here is a pic of my Thor with the cone post surgery

Fast response for booking a neuter for our puppy, friendly staff with easy check in and he healed extremely fast! Everyone was kind and caring and I felt very comfortable leaving him there for the day, he was in great hands.

I got a year old male cat from someone moving across the country, the cat did not have vaccines or was neutered he was good the first few days, but then started making territory and leaving pee in all our doors, I was worried that he would never stop, after some phone calls and getting vet costs well above $800, even local shelters did not have anything until February. I am so thankful I found Sterling shelter clinic, they replied in a timely manner and gave me an appointment as soon as a few days later!.Kitty is now neutered, happy and recovering.To those saying they do not replies I suggest you to check your spam folder, be patient!!! I got an email response within 48hr. They do have their hands full, many are volunteers, so do not expect super fast phone pick up or even email at a fraction of the cost, they deserve respect! they are super friendly and fully met my pet needs and letting me know how my cat was as soon as he was ready to go home.

After several people recommended this animal shelter for having our male dog neutered we booked an appointment. It was super easy and they were laid back but still took their role seriously when we arrived which eased any nervousness I may have had home. Our dog is a 60lb dog and we paid around 250 and we added a nail trim onThat as well. It was almost half what we would have paid at our regular vet price wise and we couldn’t be happier so far as he recovers.

Would give it 6 stars if I could. Such as a great place to have your pet neutered at a very low cost. They took great care of my puppy. We are 2 weeks after and my puppy is doing great. Don't think twice!

This spay clinic is awful. I went to drop off my puppy and it was like a production line of people waiting to drop off their animals. The floor was lined with cages. How can they insure proper care with so many animals at a time? My puppy ended up with a very swollen area in his abdomen and I left multiple messages to the clinic with no call back. My puppy is now on antibiotics from another vet. He questioned whether my puppy was properly neutered as he went in with retained testicle. The vet wondered if they found the retained testicle. Again, no phone call back so can't even confirm. Very unhappy with the service & care of my puppy that was received. I don't recommend!

Took my 11 month old olde english bulldogge to get neutered. He was back home 5 hours later a little groggy but otherwise fine. 1 day later and he is himself. Cant see the incision. I have to mention that i looked for someone to do the surgery and if they where willing to do it , itwas a 3-4 month wait and the cost was 3 to 4 times higher. Very professional and pleasant staff. Very happy with the whole experience. I would highly recommend.

Their prices are very reasonable for low income people, and they take great care of the animals! The staff also went out of their way to help provide me with some flea treatments for all my cats(which I definitely couldn't have afforded),AND signed me up for my females to be spayed for free on the next voucher day. This is the only clinic I will ever trust with my furbabies from now on because it shows that they really care about the well being of animals. I will highly recommend that if your pet needs care and you are low income, that you call them first, they're great!!! 😁😁😁

I took my male dog to get neutered here and he did ok. I took my female dog to get spayed here and she died a little over a week later. I can't say that the shelter did anything wrong because we did not get her autopsied but I wanted to just put this review out there to make other pet owners aware. I didn't realize this was something that could even happen after spay surgery. We took her to our normal vet after the surgery too to get some fluids but she just never recovered.

Brought my new kitten here for dewormer and vaccine very easy online scheduling process very quick and helpful staff and you cannot beat the price. I would recommend this shelter for vaccines to all, I cannot speak to the shelter itself but I would say that I'm sure it also reflects my positive experience

I emailed them one month ago to have my rabbit spayed. No response after a week. I then called and left a VM. No response after a week. I left another VM just yesterday as well as emailed them again. At this point I’m already too frustrated. I need my rabbit spayed! She is pooping and spraying urine all over. They could at least return my phone call, I mean seriously it’s been over two weeks since my VM. If they cannot do my rabbit spay, at least let me know so I can move on to the next vet. This waiting process is too long! Can they or can they not spay my rabbit? I will never know because I have not heard back from a person!!!!

Had to redo the microchip after the first one fell out. The first they did while sedated, the 2nd they did while she was wide awake, and I could hear my cat *screaming* from the back room
