The ice cream at Rota Spring is great! There is a huge selection of flavors. It's nice to sit outside or in your car overlooking the cow field. There are ducks, geese, turkeys, and other wildlife that kids will love. There is plenty of handicapped parking up front. Rota is my absolutely the best place to go for ice cream in central Massachusetts, and arguably the best place for ice cream in the state. With lots of flavors to choose from, each flavor is incredibly decadent and the perfect balance of creamy and icy. They have great farm space to look around and lots of parking space and seating to enjoy your ice cream. Could not recommend this place more!(P.S. As a side note, they also make a really amazing meatball sub and chicken salad sub)

Fun place to come to with a peaceful view of their cows and stream running through the property. Meatball Sub was fantastic! Roast beef was good but felt it was fairly plain and nothing special.Fyi, Apple crisp Sunday you can get any ice cream on top. Easily enough for 2 people. Cappuccino chip had a very good espresso flavor.

The most delicious ice cream! Very generous portionsl! You will definitely be satisfied! And so many flavors! You will even be surprised with special Flavors of the Month! There are food options too if you are looking to eat before (or after) your ice cream! I personally think their meatballs are amazing! There are lots of picnic tables for sitting and eating. There are cute goats in the field that the kids can pet and feed. And of course, the beautiful cows can be seen roaming the pastures. And you can even shop for items in the store. Rota Springs is a MUST on your stops for ice cream and food.Kid-friendliness: Grassy hill for kids to play on!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and order windows are wheelchair accessible.

Ice cream was good. Prices could be better. I drove from Worcester. If I happen to be in the area sure I will stop by but not going out far when other choices are closer. If you live close or are in town u say stop and enjoy the ice cream.

This place was fantastic! Prices were good compared to Boston area. The farmland you can view while eating really is relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Our family truly loved the ice cream, it was excellent. They have steaks in the shop you can buy for a decent price too! We will return many times over.

Totally worth the drive if you are not close. Ice creams are absolutely yummy and they have a huge variety of flavors that include vegan and sugar free. The shop has a lot of options for fresh vegetables, jams and jellies, honey, meats and more. Prices are well in range. There are goats you can pet and cows.All in all super recomend!

Excellent ice cream! And a great view to go along with it. Worth the drive out to find this place. Prices are extremely reasonable and servings are generous. They have many different flavors of ice cream and even some food offerings, and a shop that has some merchandise and frozen/refrigerated/fresh food. Staff are very friendly too. We tried the maine blueberry and the lavender ice cream - delicious!! Would definitely go again! Central Mass is lucky to have this place!

Honestly, simply, a classic & must-go-to when you’re in the area. The cows they get the dairy from are right there! There’s a little store on the side. But the icecream is soo good, I grew up going here & always stop on trips back home. They have a long flavor list of hard icecream, froyo & dairy free plus soft serve. They’re always busy. Plenty of parking and tables to sit and enjoy the view.

Excellent place to go for ice cream or milkshake. It has a wide parking area. The service can be considered good, the girl who attended me was very friendly and helpful.I recommend the Purple cow and orange pineaple shake. My friends also loved the banana split.

Easily some of the best ice cream I’ve had in the US. Over 40 flavors including some seasonal flavors. Menu on website. The parking lot was packed when we visited at 8pm on a Saturday night, but the lot is large so we found a spot and only waited in line for 10 minutes because they had at least 8 service windows open to take orders.

Rota spring has the best ice cream in the world. That's not hyperbole. That's fact. I wear a black arm band December through February... the months they are closed.My one rap on the place is the design of service. They should have an ice cream only window during their peak hours. If the people in front of you are getting food, you have no way of knowing this... and you've just tripled your wait time.

Enjoyed the store and purchased fresh farm picked veggies and fruit, all decent priced. Also some nice soup from the freezer section. We enjoyed the beautiful fall afternoon scenery while watching the farm animals. Next visit will include ice cream .

My go to place for an evening ice cream. It’s close to home, delicious and the scoops are GENEROUS. There is seating under a tent as well as several tables along the side of the building. Their farm store has seasonal fruits/veggies and local honey, jams, and meats.

Great place for an ice cream! Very kid/ family friendly with goats and cows. They offer tractor/hay rides in October out to the Pumpkin patch in the fields behind the goats!Very nice produce available as well in the shop adjacent to the ice cream windows.

Excellent ice cream! We got purple cow and peach. Both delicious. Had fun sitting at the picnic tables watching the cows in the field. After we finished our ice cream, we hit the farm store and picked up some steaks and veggies.
