I had a bad experience at the Portland store the ,,I think the management there needs to be replaced by a more professional employees..I was falsely accused of stealing and made to stand in front of every body while this guy went through my stuff .I was the only white person on the store mostly black people shop there ..I guess if u have a puffy coat that's grounds for them to signal the only white person out and accuse him falsely of theft after proving I had not stolen anything thing I asked very nicely I'd o could file a complaint. The ignored my request..I then called and the same guy who accused me picked up the phone...how convenient!!! Blocking me from talking to a supervisor..he then Became completely belligerent talking over me loudly and accusing me of do this or that. He was Basically trying to start a fight to make me look bad.how unprofessional. I'm a innocent shopper.who did nothing wrong ..he embarrassed me and himself and got mad at me

The prices were more than I had expected for more of a discount grocery store. Place was clean, easy parking and check out lady was nice

This is not a large grocery store but it never fails me for what I do need. Fresh fruits. Vegetables. Canned goods. Milk. Eggs. Meat. Cereal. Frozen food. Etc. Etc. Good prices. I love Save A Lot.

Save alot was much better last year the price doesn't seem to save much other stores are cheaper than save alot and that is not a good thing

This grocery store is well stocked with a great variety of food and lots of interesting, international foods as well. Good, competitive prices and a very good meat section with a great variety. The store is always very clean and the service is excellent.

Started out great. Now it's OK. Personnel seem less professional and less friendly. Stocked. Good selection. Short lines. Good for quick trips. They are low on carts. Restrooms are "Closed to customers."

Great prices. Good selection. Most store's around had either put all their refrigerated/frozen items safely away because of a major tropical storm was due to knock out power wide spread. Save a lot had almost everything back in the coolers and freezers. Some other named store's completely closed down.Thanks Save a lot. I really needed some frozen meals for tonight and tomorrow not to mention I also needed milk which you had.

Save A Lot is a well priced family friendly store. Your dollar will go a long way. The staff is friendly and the store is well lit and colorful. Neat and clean; great produce, meat selections, frozen food choices, with a variety of other products. This is a perfect place for growing families, elderly and college students to frequent. The location is perfect as it is in walking distance to Western New England University. Great shopping choices in this area. This is our neighborhood store and it is very clean and well kept and it will stay that way. Come to Save A A Lot and get value for your dollar. Thank you. Ms. Osborn

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. It didn't have the kielbasa sausage links I wanted. But, otherwise that particular Save Alot is great. Always stocked, and super clean. Plus I leave 5 minutes away.

Go in with little money and come out with plenty of groceries. Even when it's crowded the cashiers for the most part get em out, and plenty of satisfied customer. It feels awesome early in the a.m. or even afternoon or late night them being friendly and talking to us like family or GOOD friends...

Reminds me of Aldi just not as many options of produce. It's on the smaller side but have some really great prices. Not many name brand items besides sodas and chip items but of the non brand items I've bought I've liked them. The meat here is a few bucks cheaper than some other places especially the steak . I highly recommend it for a quick grocery run during the week or just a spot for those few things you often forget when you've been doing a giant grocery haul all day and get home and realize you forgot butter.

The staff were rude. The produce was pretty much empty but, on the up scale the meat section was pretty full. My shopping experience would have been a lot nicer if the staff they have there weren't so rude.

Easy to find what I need, at a great price. The stores staffs registers, which is amazing, especially these days. They even called staff over to a second register, while the first only had a line of 1 (1 at register, 1 in line)

They have a sign on the outside saying the bathroom is closed to the public! I said okay cuz I'm not the public, I'm a patron I'm shopping there. 45min into my shopping I had to use the bathroom' some lil 18 year old is gonna tell next I'm not to use the bathroom. Well that didn't go well for them, I left all of the groceries in the cart and I left the store!! I'll never shop there again---

I love shopping here. It is well stocked has good selections its clean the prices are decent and employees very polite. Idont know why it is never busy. I have told others in person how much i like this store. I hope they get enough shoppers to stay in.business.

This place has made great changes to their store not only a reorganized freezer isle but overall improvement on product availability and variety. It can definitely compete with Aldi.

I went in right before closing time. There were cashiers working still and customers in the store. The owner stopped me and told me I couldn't shop there they were closed. I told him there are people in here shopping so why are you stopping me I wanted wanted to grab some hamburger. He was so rude and mean. He said of well you need to leave and when i refused he said you have 3 minutes to shop and check out or we wont service you. I was so disgusted I feel like I was targeted because I was a black woman with an infant. I will never shop there again.

I bought a bottle of Mountain Dew and a bag of J. Higgs Extreme Tortilla chips. The store was well stocked, very clean and the checkout lines moved fast. I was happy with the shopping experience.

Kayvon was rude. He yelled at a couple customers to back up for 6 ft covid restrictions which is fine but its in the way you say it. When he packed my stuff he just tossed my stuff in the cart. Staff at this store needs more training.. I wont be shopping at that one will continues to go to the liberty St store..

If you're looking for a place to go that's very inexpensive here's a place there's not that high high end stuff in here but just to get simple stuff it's an okay place to shop and all the employees are very friendly and have knowledge of where the products are in the store

These store's are sporting the name "Save A Lot" as I walk through these store's I've found fresh fruit, vegetables spoiled, decaying.I shop for there noodles, pasta, can goods.So there are some item to shop for, beware of the fresh fruits🍑🍓🍉🍎🍊🍌 and Vegetables 🍅🥦

The prices are a great reason to shop here! There are some brand names, but mostly their own brands,but butter and milk are butter and milk! Tyson chicken, alot less than the larger grocery stores!

A bang for your buck!!I just wish they had more workers as cashiers because you can never run in for an item and get out just as quickly. Be prepared to stand and wait in a line.

Great prices, sooo glad that this formerly decades vacant spot finally found a tenant. This whole plaza has been COMPLETELY REDONE all within the last few years. Only Winn Liquors could use a facelift to complete the look of the rebirth. Sav A Lot is a great addition to the area!

Aldi and price rite had a baby and named it save-a-lot. And it's a great store. Good savings for sure and a clean orderly location. No complaints.

The prices are higher than the regular supermarket for brands you have never heard of. You will not save any money. I spent 10 bucks so I'll see if they are any good but I highly doubt it.
