I'm from Nh and this is a store my niece and I go to when I go down to visit. I bake for different events and by far the best place to get vanilla. (The Jamaican vanilla). It's the best that I've ever used. And priced right, for the size of the bottle. The selection of spices and different blends is Amazing ! The staff is easy going and helpful. I love all of the many cultures that are represented in this store. I definitely plan to keep going here.

Parking lot is kind of rough, some of the prices are a bit high too, but there is a huge variety of products from all over the world if you're looking for something special for a recipe.

The food in this restaurant smells very good and smells delicious I have not tried any of it yet but I did make a few purchases of some things from this store. The store is neat and clean and very laid out quite well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some prices are reasonable some are a little more expensive. This location is very busy. It was my first time going to the store and probably not my last. The lunch specials are reasonable only $10 unfortunately when I went in and smell the food from the outside and also smell it from the inside it really smells good.

This is absolutely 100% the place you want to go if you are looking for ANYTHING ethnic food related from Spanish, Asian, Mexican, Jamaican etc.They tend to be a bit more expensive on some staple items but I love this place. It's cool just to check out the incredible selection of herbs, spices, dried peppers, fresh fruits and veggies that they have. I believe they carry literally anything you could possibly want for an ethnic meal.Personally I do not buy my milk here anymore. For some reason I have had a long standing problem of it souring before it's expiration date.

It's a nice grocery store but tbh I go to the red taco truck parked in the parking lot, omg their tacos are worth the money please if u go to food zone or just wanna good authentic taco please try the red taco truck! Lol thank me later

Servers at cafeteria were extremely rude to this older lady ordering food. Because this lady wasn't dressed in expensive clothes and looked humble these cafeteria Servers at foodzone decided to mistreat her verbally. The lady turned towards me and asked why is she being treated like this when I have money to purchase the food?... this was heartbreaking. I spoke to a manager but he seemed not to care s.smuch. I guess the environment in this store is not good. Thank you.

Many varieties, but I went to buy panapen (P.R. breadfruit) @ $2.19lb & the electronic weight was program to .70 w/o anything on it, so I cleared it several times & reset it to 0. I weight the panapenes & it weight 7.99lb, when I went to the register it weight 10.50lbs 🤯😱. I told the cashier they just weight 7.99lb on the vegetables scale & all she could answer was: this is how the register weights are program. It's a rip off on the scales. So good on item choices, but awful on fresh produce/vegetables weight items.

Customer service is wonderful. If you spend at the least $50.00 dollars in cash and/or foodstamps and don't have a vehicle; they do bring you home, parents, children, consumer/patient/clients home if you're out doing groceries or whatever it is that you may be shopping for hygienic/ cleaning supplies etc, or grandparents home for free!!! I find that to be wonderful and extremely helpful. The only thing is they are a little expensive which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. Otherwise they are convenient and sell just about everything you need except furniture.

If you ever want to experience what is like to live in a country where no one speaks your language.. shop here... if you're lucky you may find a customer that'll interpret for you.. most associate well try to figure out.. other just look at you...I do like the international food section especially their Asian section.. lots of fresh crispy vegetables you will not find anywhere else

This place its only to get foreign products, especially hispanic, no complaints there. However, if you purchase anything that's considered normal to a typical diet, if they have it, is very expensive. Quaker Oat Old Fashioned Oatmeal around $10, while in Walmart you can get it for $5.68.

Well I'll be honest. This place can be intimidating if you don't speak Spanish. It's my first language I grew up with and I'm still fluent but that doesn't stop this store from intimidating me. Everything I remember from my childhood is in here though.

Stayed in Springfield for a conference/camp, and went to this store out of curiosity. Excellent selection of Hispanic foods, if that is what you are looking for. Also clean and feels safe.

Why are so many small stores so expensive? There are a lot of good deals here, but you really have to wait for a sale. Meat, well chicken is low cost but ground beef is crazy high and non perishables dont get me started. so HIGH. but its in the middle of town and so folks go, plus they have transportation if you spend i think 50 or more. fresh spanish food and a deli... but $& for a gallon of milk... come on!

I love shopping at food zone! The store is always so clean, no long waits in line, fresh produce with a wide variety of food. This is the only store in Springfield that I've found that sells SEEDED grapes. It's almost impossible nowadays with all the gmo food. I truly appreciate this store being in my community.

I go there just to buy a certain coffee,so I asked one of the guys that are stacking the coffees in the coffee isle of the certain brand I love ,he said there is no more in the bags But in a canister there is and gave it to me saying as I thought $4.99, so when I went to the cashier she said another price ok so I asked if they can double check to my surprise the guy came back with the girl and started yelling at me saying who am I to make him look bad and he never said anything to me😮,so I told him excuse me first of all this is why I asked to have it checked furthermore is this how you talk to a customer let alone and older person?? The cashier and girl looked at me in surprise and apologized I told them it’s ok I will never shop in that store again,,,if a older mm comes yelling at you it says a lot of the kind of workers working there,,we as customers shouldn’t have to be subject to that kind of abuse 😡😡😡,,Never again
