I love Dave's! Excellent selection of name brand, high quality food for dogs, cats, and small animals. The customer service team is friendly and helpful. I especially like the personalized attention from the Dog food managers. I would rate Dave's Soda and Pet Good City a 10 star establishment!

Dave’s always has the brands of dog food I purchase and has the best prices around. The store is always clean and the staff is always nice, the cashier who works on Sundays is very helpful and always very pleasant. It’s always a nice experience when she’s working. Sunday’s is when I visit the store the most and I’ve never had any issues here. I really recommend shopping here!

Pricing is way too high on many pet care maintenance items. Pet food can be reasonably priced and they carry a good line of cat foods wet and dry. The hands on service was amazing, for selecting a cat food for specific health needs in a multi-cat family. This and reasonable food prices is why we go here, but sadly we can't afford to buy liter, dishes, and other pet incidentals here as they are outrageously priced

We had a wonderful experience with Dave's in Springfield, MA. Our local store has promised us a hedgehog at 25% off and had sold it within the hour we called to reserve it. Dave's in Springfield matched the 25% discount, and gave us 10% off everything we bought for our little guy. Thank you so much Dave's of Springfield, we would absolutely recommend.

I've been in this store many many times. But was rather disappointed with how the store looked today. Numerous dead fish floating in the tanks, small animal tanks were filthy. Not to mention every time you go in the store one or more of their redemption machines are down. When you only have 1 machine for each thats not really acceptable!! Oh and to top it all off the cashier HAD NO PERSONALITY I'd rather go to Agawam any day!!

Dave's has an excellent selection of products. I also really like that he supports the area shelters & rescue groups. Would like to see some vegan cat & dog foods available.

Good place to go to as long as you get the right employee to help you. It tends to be frustrating because every time I go there I have to grab an employee instead of them asking if they can help me. There is very poor customer service but there is good prices. If there employees cared a little more than it would be a very good pet store.

Although this is one of the smaller Dave's locations, it's packed wall to wall and floor to ceiling with pet supplies (and beverages, in the back.) great prices on pet treats and bulk birdseed. Service here is always fast and friendly, and even though checkout lines can get long during busy times, they usually move fast.

Very good place to get like locally made food, organic foods also name brand foods but there is a worker named laurie and she's in the Carew street store and she gives people the wrong information on everything I have made two complaints about her and nothing has been done so if you ever go to the Dave's on Carew Street please don't take any advice from a woman named Laurie thank you besides that a very good store for your pets and stuff it's a little on the pricey side when it comes to certain things but you know it's a family-owned business and they have to make their money.

Great locally owned pet store. They have their own brands for less. Staff is knowledgeable about animals. Surprisingly good selection of soda from small businesses. Funny local TV show.

Great place to go shopping for all your pets needs. It is local, easy access, free parking and is handicap accessible. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They even have grooming services!

The only place I ever shop for my pet's food not only is the staff well knowledgeable but they treat you like family. Been to a lot of other Dave's stores but this one on St James is the best true professionals none of that bull

I give them a five stars because when I take my dog there for a bath and hair trimming and nails cut and all of that they do an amazing job and they are a great company that deserves to stay open

I don't like one employee, is always distracted and slowly, like he using something. I need to repeat 3 times the item. Example: Hello, I need $2 of meal worms. -meHe: Psst, agh, $3 large crickets.Me: 3 times $2 meal worms. Omg he is not listening. 😫🤤🙃😨😵😠😡

Cashier kind and courteous but some prices went up and she said its sometimes happens when price of meat goes up. This was over 45 cents increase for a can of cat food. Now 2.55
