Beautiful shelter for cats with ability to hang out in a screened porch.Sandy matched us up with a wonderful cat who fit purrfectly into our family. Took a couple of weeks to get back to us originally, but they are all volunteer so be patient. Well worth the wait.Paul & Lisa

Filled out an application and received 2 phone calls to discuss adopting a pair of kittens. The last call was from the owner Sandy who alleged that she was going on vacation for a week so would call me when she returns to setup a meeting. The week passed and I heard nothing. Waited a few days and left a voicemail (on the shelter business number and the number she had called on which I believe is a home phone) and also wrote an email. Here it is 10 days later and not a word. Also, the two cats I wanted are still showing on the website (but they may have colds), and the two others they wanted to set me up to adopt are off the website (???). Very sad as my kids were super enthusiastic about getting new kittens.

My poor father who is retired was going to adopt a cat from this woman and he told her he was going to come get/meet the cat on Wednesday. She finally calls him back late Wednesday to tell him she let someone else adopt the cat just because she happened to be there and wanted both cats. My poor father was so looking forward to it. Do not recommend!

So, after a few calls and messages (to which i admit i got angry over, having not received a call or even a message back as to a lengthy wait time) I was informed that all of us who gave a 1 star rating are all from people who were not eligible to adopt, to which I do not know their credentials for who deserves to adopt and who doesn't, but there was one reviewer who DID adopt and STILL gave a 1 star over a sick cat. So with that said, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Hopefully all the animals will go to a decent shelter instead of someone like these people who could be selling the animals to people who should not qualify

I called and emailed inquiring about a kitten. I received a call 2 days later informing me that someone else was interested in the same kitten so we discussed other kittens that were still available and I stated I would definitely be interested in the other kitties in another foster home. She told me she would call me back but its been 5 days and I haven't heard a word so we found another kitten that needed a home. I guess in the end we saved a kitten but a call back would have been nice.

So, after filling out the application twice, receiving NO communication (which lead to heated comments) and after they said my application was denied, i went to Worcester Animal Rescue League. Yeah i paid more but i got my kitten today with no complications. If you want a kitten dont go to this place, they claim they look at applications but i honestly dont think they give kittens to anyone but people that seem like they "match their criteria" instead go to Worcester animal Rescue League. It is right on 139 Holden street in worcester MA

This is a wonderful shelter where the cats were treated with the utmost love and affection. Sandy was wonderful . . . she knew which cats would be a good fit for our family of four, so when we went to visit, we knew which cats to interact with more. As soon as we arrived, the cutest little black and white kitty greeted us so sweetly, purring and rubbing against out legs. We were in love! The shelter itself is very clean and so comfortable for the cats . . . a true kitty oasis! Also, the cost to adopt is much lower than surrounding shelters. We could not be happier with Charlotte (formerly known as Meisha). She is the perfect fit for our family! Can't recommend this place enough!

The owner is super sweet and definitely cares about the animals. We went to 2 different shelters today with 2 cats that we could no longer keep in our home that turned us away and we went to this place and she welcomed us in with open arms showed us around and assured us that the cats would be in good hands. When we left, the cats were calm and relaxed and just looking at everything in the room and out the windows completely ignoring us lol. Such a nice place. ❤❤

The cat they sold me turned out to be terminally ill and infected despite the paperwork they gave me claiming he was free of any viruses. Don’t get a cat from here. You’ll be left with expensive vet bills and heartache.

She sold me a sick cat. Never revealed that she had any medical issues. The night I brought her home she was vomiting and had severe constipation. (BEFORE she ate anything in my home by the way) Leaving poo skid marks all over everything, including my comforter. She also told me the cat was 8. When I got home and looked over the vet records, it showed her being 11. She may sell (oh, I'm sorry I mean "adopt out") the cats cheaper than other shelters, but remember, there is probably a reason for it.

PALS is the best cat adoption agency in the area! I have adopted two cats from them and I love both cats very much. They are both very friendly and loveable. The staff is amazing and extremely friendly. I would not go anywhere else to adopt a cat. Adopt, don't shop! There are so many wonderful cats and kittens in need of good homes.

PAL is an organization which I have been involved with for over 25 years. PAL depends on donations to make the shelter run, which is not an easy situation in these trying times. The shelter owner has my upmost respect for her effort and 100% devotion to the animals which are lucky enough to stay in the PAL shelter until they can be adopted. "Auntie Sandy" brought Mikey into my life just after I went through a heart wrenching year. When she came with a huge carrier, I thought to myself "she did say cat"? Out of the carrier came this big puffy,beautiful dark gray male cat with white " sneakers",white belly & long white whiskers ! My reaction was "wow"! He's a Maine Coon mix. Mikey is what his name was. I call him " baby Mikey". He is my baby. 🐈 We play "peek-a-boo" & watch videos that cats enjoy on my tablet. He's extremely intelligent & affectionate. I foster Mikey & want people to know how supportive Sandy is. I truly recommend People4Animais if your wanting to give a 🐈 a loving home.

We got our Russian blue domestic short hair Dash from the People for animals. This Shelter is run by kind, warm loving people who treat every cat like their own. They make the adoption easy and pleasant. We are feel very lucky to have connected them and to have dash. He has fit into our family and we love him to pieces. Thank you Pals :)

Absolutely amazing 😍 we had two cats that we're dropped off with me. Went to this place and the owner was so amazing so sweet. Invite us in ,my wife and i. And she is better than any shelter. Honestly just off the bat her personality says it all. Owner is amazing animal 💙 lover..bless them
