Klem's is a great local business in Spencer. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's got everything you need for outdoor activities, home and garden, etc. But what I love most about this place is the fish department, so I'm rating this place mostly in that area. The fish prices sometimes are a little bit higher than the big chain pet stores, But that's always expected when you compare local businesses with the big chain franchises. But the prices are not that much different, so it's not that bad. And they actually have better prices on aquarium plants than the big change stores with more selections. Andrew Lefevre is always helpful and very knowledgeable in the fish department. There's ample parking with handicap accessible entrances. I was in a bit of a rush today so I didn't get a chance to take pictures. I'll take pictures next time.

Started shopping here a few years ago when we moved to the area. They have a great selection of items and knowledgeable staff that are always willing to answer questions. At Christmas time they were the only local place I could find a tree stand for a tree larger than 8 feet and the price was reasonable. We truly enjoy our trips here and appreciate the popcorn.

Went for some aquatic plants for my aquarium. I always go in there and look at the fish they have (their selection is incredibly diverse and very cool) and there was a man there tending to each tank. Very sweet to see. They also feed veggies and produce to the fish that need it. I have no doubt that their animals are incredibly well cared for and i absolutely love it. I also come here for garden plants and herbs. I will never stop coming here. Love this location

Andrew does an excellent job running the fish department! I have bought several fish from Klems, and Andrew has assisted me every time. He is incredibly knowledgeable, has amazing customer service skills and is a pleasure to talk to. He is a gold star employee and I hope he gets recognition for it. Thank you Andrew!

This place has a little bit of everything. From apparel to snowblowers and a lot in between. My first time going and I really like it. Next time, I will take more time to browse around. It is a clean store inside and out, and the associates are kind.I'll definitely be going back.

In general I love Klems. But today I felt frustrated enough to do a review. I have been in alot more than usual due to projects going at home. Having worked retail the past myself I know good customer service is leaving the counter and either showing the customer where to find something and then going over to make sure the customer was ok and didn't need anymore help. Anyway 3 of the 5 times I was in the hardware department I went over to the department counter and asked where to find something. I don't have a problem with being told what isle to look on. I have a problem with the person working there obviously not busy and not bothering to come out from behind the counter and take me over to the isle to help me find my item easier. Again it's called good customer service. As a whole I still love Klems. Just disappointed the help didn't go a little above and beyond to help a customer.

REVISED: Klem's is great! One issue after almost 10 years and hundreds of purchases. Keep the local folks going - great products, good people and a leader that owns it when things go sideways.TLDR: After years of being a happy customer I chose Klem's for my large purchase of an Ariens Mower and all the fixings. A mistake was made that lead to a delay of several months upon which time I still had issues. .. I escalated within the dept but did not take the time to go all the way up. Instead, in a moment of frustration, I fired off a negative but honest review. Within a couple of weeks I got a voicemail from Mr. Harris (the boss). He spent a few minutes very nicely apologizing and owning the issue. He also explained their plan to improve the process and let me know that he mailed me a gift card that was more than fair.. at a time when we needed it most. Folks.. please find Dan before leaving a bad review..

Klems has an awesome fish assortment , No salt water fish though seen a googly eyes fish super cute and some baby shrimps for your tank and Axilottos and baby african dwarf frogs and many more different ones... alot of small business there for sale as well I have been there for a couple years. Went with my sister and kids and nieces they liked the fresh popcorn you get as well lol something are expensive though

What a great store with quite a selection to choose from. There's something here for everyone, KLEMS has a very wide selection and interests from accessories for your pets to smokers and barbecue enthusiasts to safety boots and work wear to trinkets and hobbies of interests a must go to store and checkout for yourself and be prepared to spend quite a bit of time there browsing there's lots to look at

I want to be certain that Connor in the parts department is recognized for salvaging what was almost sure to be not only admittedly a series of unacceptable if not laughable sequence of experiences for a valuable customer, but many others likely lost, or at least dissuaded as well. Thanks to Connor who simply took the lead and cut out all the nonsense (and maybe Pam?) we were able to work together, be patient and rational people, communicate, and accept what we were working with to come to a compromise after 2 orders vanished entirely, then wrong parts came in, etc etc. Paperwork and orders were lost on multiple occasions, orders were told to be picked up and only a fraction was there, nevermind the more egregious things that happened during all of this back and forth on a professional level. Thankfully, Klem's dealt with it all properly and even made it a point to let me know the action they took following the unfortunate interaction. Everyone can have a bad day, but you don't get to take it out on a misinformed customer. Anyway, thanks to Connor, my family and I will continue to be Klem's customer's, and my ultimately positive experience will be shared with those around me. Thank you Connor and the Klem's parts team, Pauline too!🙏🏼😁 Keep up the good work, and smile!

Klem's is our favorite place to shop with our son that is in a wheelchair. Parking is great, isles are wide enough for my son chair.Icing on the cake is this is his favorite store.Has everything he wants and needs for his bird, fish, bird feeders, and his fish pond.They also carry his favorite brand of sneakers.Priced better then the box stores.We always find what we needs as well.Love this store.

I love this store! It gives me that country store feel. I get so relaxed and I love spending time looking at everything, reminds me of going to shops in North Conway. Some folks think the prices are high but the quality overrides the price because you know it will last longer. I want a job here.

I love this store. It has such a variety of items from clothes to shoes, boots and clogs to toys, games, kids experiments, stuffed animals, candles, candy, honey, garden supplies, birds, bird houses, animal food, and everything in between. It is a fun place to browse and while browsing you'll see something that you just need to buy! Great place. Huge parking lot too and handicapped access.

Found deer and rabbit spray to keep these critters from eating my roses. Helpful staff. The self-serve popcorn was a real treat at the register.

Its a great concept store and beautifully executed. The displays are lovely and it's fun to walk around and see it. It is not a good place to go to just buy grain or supplies. (I paid 25% more than I usually do for the bag of grain i needed for my horse.. usually costs around $35 it was $45 here.. that is a really big difference. I won't be using them for supplies but it's a nice place for "fun" shopping for the home, yard and maybe housewarming gifts.
