Going to the Ocean State is always a treat. Due to their business model, you never know exactly what you'll find. But you can be assured that it's usually cheaper than most other places.The staff was friendly and super helpful. The aisles were uncluttered, and the store was generally clean.I will happily come back whenever the situation necessitates it.

I love this store! It's clean, quiet and you can find exactly what you need (and a few things you don't). Ha! But you never mind leaving with a cart fuller than expected bc the price is right!

Fabulous store. Well laid out, always well stocked and great personalities on all the staff. So much better than Enfield. Worth the 30 minute drive along beautiful country roads. Stop at Big Y while you're there if you need water. No 5 cent deposit in MA.

Great selection of interesting and sometimes obscure items. I visit Ocean State often. This was my first time at this location. Found what I was looking for and then some. Store was clean and they had the check out line organized well for social distancing. Thanks guys...

New cashier, manager oblivious to people waiting in line, apparently a huge training problem stemming from corporate all the way down to floor people, does every item need to be looked up in your giant notebook? Hint manager, when the line is not moving open up a checkout! Outsource some training, open a self checkout, do something!

Southwick Mass store. Very nice. Very Big. We ended up making a large purchase & the employees were extremely helpful. It's a "deals" store. When you find one you have to take advantage immediately. Their crazy deal saved us $150 on a $250 purchase. 4 stars out of 5 because they only had 1 item in stock. We would have bought 2. ☺️

I want to give a "Shout Out" for whoever the new manager is who completely cleaned up this store! I hadn't been in the store for awhile and never felt like my experiences there were very pleasant and the store felt congested and messy. Last week I shopped and was blown away by how impeccable the store was! All departments were neat and aisles felt spacious. It was a pleasurable shopping experience to be in this store! The difference was so noticeable. This store now gets an A+ for neatness, appearance, presentation, cleanliness and spacious walk through! I feel the employees have always been cheerful and helpful, so no complaints there. Kudos to Southwick for raising the bar and creating a standard that the Westfield store could certainly model itself after.

It's always hit or miss and today we had some hits and some misses. They're prices are pretty reasonable. Some things I need, I will try them first because I know they will have the better price. Some of their stores are better than others.

Great bargains can be found on a large variety of things from home office supplies to pool and garden. But items are not usually of a high quality so be mindful when shopping and inspects items rather than assuming it's the same item that you saw for twice as much somewhere else.

I love this place, it cant bebeat for their selecion and super low prices!!!If you want reading or sunglasses 😎 go there before you spend at leas 4 times the price elsewhere!!Also along with their staple proudcts they have unexpected items at times, kayaks and palddles, life jackets, small swimming pools.Pretty much the store has a great selection of hardware, lawncare, clothing, cooking supplies, kid's toys and pet items along with other various goods.Check it out its a fun store to shop!!!Norm

Lot of goods. Low prices on coffee pods (k-cup), nuts, jams, olive oil. Today purchased cotton flannel set of sheets for $20. In the past have gotten great deals on grass seed, ceramic flower pots, rugs, jeans, shirts, etc.

It's always fun to go into Ocean State Job Lot! You never know what you are going to find, but it almost always is a great price. This particular trip I just needed to grab a bread pan (a whole $0.27 a piece!) and stumbled across a brush I've been needed and grabbed some yarn for a new project. Fun store to get lost in.

One of the best Ocean State out there. Large, open, clean aisles with a better than average selection. Even though I have a store in my town, when looking for large selections - like rugs - I head to Southwick.

Ocean State in Southwick MA is outstanding. We all know that when we visit any one the numerous discount retailers we expect no service and total disarray (that would be Dollar General in Vernon, CT). However, I have been a frequent shopper at Ocean State Job Lot in Southwick MA. They always have all the items available that they publish in their circular. The staff is customer friendly .Every one of them will always help you out. Their merchandise offerings are extensive and they sell first quality, not something that fell off a truck. This is my favorite Ocean State store.

An older woman was so rude to me. If Job Lot sees this, I didn’t see her name, but on 03/19 at closing time she was on register 2. She was not wearing her mask properly, and as my (gay) partner and I approached, she said “Ugh, great!”. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was homophobic. But even if it wasn’t a hate crime, it was still rude and so unnecessary. Didn’t offer us a bag, has no customer service skills, and yelled at us to come to the register.
