Sturbridge store ... Great prices ! They have the best selection of planter pots. I got 3 huge bags of organic soil for $8 each. Love the quality of that soil. Did not see the same soil at the Southbridge store but Southbridge had better bully sticks for dogs. I got 2 beautifully sounding wind chimes for $7 each. Love them !The staff is so helpful & at least two young ladies were rocking beautifully colored hair. Not too mention their pleasant helpful demeanor.

On Dec 23rd I bought my grandbabies bike's I was unable to get them to the register on my own not only did a wonderful young man help with the extremely heavy packages but staff loaded it into the truck for me. The young man who brought my packages to the register informed staff I needed assistance. I'll never forget him and the staff who assisted me. My grandbabies had a wonderful Christmas thanks to his help and staff's help . May they all have a had a merry Christmas and happy new year and above all thank you sincerely from my heart

Still have pretty good things but it's like their prices TRIPLED!!! I will admit there's still a few hidden gems around the store but before the whole store was a gem it's just not anymore it's like the inflation hit the store all at once before it could just gradually happen lol.Had to Edit, I don't want people to get the wrong idea. You should definitely visit the store and get your own opinion Mines definitely going to be different from most, because I used to frequent the store often... it is a good store. The owner got back to me so fast, to my review, I had to give it another star!That's what I mean about it being a good store all around, through and through, the sales team, support team, even the owner that got back to me the next day. What store does that?!There's not many out there!

Like the variety of things they carry, prices reasonable - but need to know prices at places like Target and Walmart to know if you are getting a deal. They have clothing from major retailers at good prices. Good place and price for batteries. Have everything from food, household goods, yard stuff, to slippers, pet products, cards. Check them out!

Ocean state job lot has a great number of deals on everyday things. Clothing basics, gardening, pool supplies and food. We stop in at least once a month to pick up items hard to find elsewhere. There “crazy deals” are crazy… buy a promotional item and get the same amount of money back to use on your next trip.

Some items are pricey including out of season items but there are good deals to be had. Be careFul to read all the sale specials as they can be a little misleading. Stores can be messy. Usd to have better deals. Need markdowns to get rid of shop-worn items.

You never know what you will find in this store. I have found some unusual items there, with reasonable prices.The only drawbacks are that the shelves are not very well organized and stuff like kitchen appliances are not the best quality.

Great variety of many options to choose from between clothing,home needs/wants,entertainment,necessitates,toiletries,and of course food!Wide selections of assortments such as jams,breads,canned goods,freshly made various selections for all ages,at an extremely low cost!(Down side on that note is I believe they don't accept Snap benefits.(Foodstamps/TAFDC).The closest one to my area is a slight bit untidy,.it reminds me of,Building 19.. anyone remember that store? A larger version of Spags?lol wow haven't thought of these places in ages and yet adored them most! Another great place similar to the said places I've noted here is,Job Lot,. (just missing the Ocean in the name!) I wonder if they're related? ( lol or ya know,.in connection anyway) Sorry for such a LONG Review but here you have mine about Ocean State Job Lot. They have great furniture for fair prices. I must say most of the living room sets were incredibly comfortable. I recommend checking the store out sometime

Worst customer service. I recently bought a gazebo for my yard. One week later my gazebo structure bent in half due to some wind. While trying to find a solution to this, I was told that exchanges and returns are only good on ideas that could be resold. According to Oceanstate Job Lot websites return policy, detective items can be returned within 30 days of purchase. The manager would not personally talk to me about this. I was told that the Gazebo was meant to be taken down then reinstalled every time there was wind. I purchased the Gazebo Regency Deluxe for $224.40.

Needed a tarp for my cord wood. Bought a 20x30 heavy duty. Got home spread over the wood. I have to admit it's awesome, I am very impressed with the quality.

Expect to spend an hour plus on your first visit. So much to look at! Everything from clothing, home decorations, food, health and beauty. Super prices. They will definitely have what you're looking for, if you have the time.

Not bad. Has some good deals. Be careful sometimes they sell seconds. But they are good at returning things with receipt. Workers ate helpful. Cleaner than some Ocean State Job Lots.

It's like a fancy dollar store or a better family Dollar general mixed with some stuff that is worth it. Decent cheap area rugs and simple dog and cat items.
